This delightful children’s day nursery and preschool provides babies, from six weeks to preschool children up to five years old, with a safe and homely environment in which to learn, play and grow in confidence. It is located in a beautifully renovated townhouse, across the road from Abington Park woodland area on Wellingborough Road in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

Kiddi Caru Northampton offers flexible sessions to provide the best childcare solutions to fit your family life. They supply free childcare for all three and four year olds up to 22 hours a week with funded hours all year round.

They understand that, as a parent, you have a million things to do and prepare for your child every morning. So, they supply nappies and formula milk for all ages that need them. They hope to ease your daily routine by taking care of these essentials for your little one whilst they are at nursery.

This is a great nursery. Our son has been attending since he was a year old and he loves it. He has made lots of friends, he is constantly learning something new, building his confidence and there is lots of playtime inside and out in the garden. The staff is kind and caring.

It gives me comfort and joy to see my daughter excited about going to her nursery. She loves almost everything about the nursery. The teachers, activities and playing with her friends. She cannot wait to go back to nursery when she is not in nursery. Well done to the Swans!

My son started nursery in January 2020. The staff and the managers are great. When I come here there is a warm feeling, all the staff are friendly. I always feel comfortable and safe leaving my son. I can't preach the good works of this amazing nursery enough. Genuine care, compassion, commitment, excellence to name but a few are the attributes of Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Northampton, Abington Park. My son has been attending for two years now and it's been such an amazing journey for him and all
of us. The management team is brilliant and so friendly, always willing to help in whatever way they can. Teaching staff are fantastic, they genuinely care for your child and it's centered to the child's individual needs. The staff to child ratio is such that, the teachers are able to dedicate a good amount of time to each child. The rooms are spacious, the children have big play areas to explore and learn, whilst having fun. The curriculum is fantastic and my child indeed has learnt so much and continues to learn even more here at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Northampton, Abington Park. As a parent, you're always updated with and included in the progress of your child and any future steps planned for them. Excellent place!

My son has been going to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Northampton, Abington Park, for nearly 2 years and we are so pleased we chose this nursery. We had a good feeling when we looked around, everyone is lovely there. I’ve watched our son grow in confidence since being there, from learning to communicate with
others to forming great friendships. They do so much there each day and it’s great that they are starting to do things to get them ready for school. All the activities look and sound fun. The food is great. The staff are always friendly & happy. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

My child has been going to this nursery for nearly 2 years and I have never had an issue with the staff, they are always helpful and my child absolutely loves going. He has developed loads with his speech and understanding of things, along with him feeling confident with toilet training - it's brilliant
to see.
We always receive updates and photos of what our child is doing and what next steps they are going to be taking to help him further. Brilliant staff and very helpful.

The staff at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Northampton (Abington park) have been incredible throughout our 2-year journey with them. My daughter started at 10 months and they were so supportive of our needs and ensured I was looked after as much as my daughter (as I found it very tough leaving her at first
after having had a long maternity leave with her!).
We were kept up to date regularly with daily on-line accounts which had photographs of what my daughter got up to in the day. My daughter created wonderful bonds with all staff and other children at the nursery and always looked forward to going. I can't recommend this nursery enough for any parent!

I wholeheartedly recommend Abington Park Day Nursery which surpassed my expectations on every level.
My daughter started during the summer of 2020 and has thrived from day one. She instantly made strong connections with the engaging, friendly and loving staff and had genuine feelings of admiration
for them. The variety of activities the team organise is excellent with themes and plenty of learning opportunities. My daughter always has lots to talk about and looks forward to her time at nursery. Each day we are sent pictures of her day, weekly observations and monthly development objectives.
The nursery is efficiently run by the excellent management team who are on hand to help and support both the nursery staff and families.
I will be sad when the day comes for my daughter to leave to start school but I know she and I will have many fond memories of her time here.

I have been very impressed with the nursery and the hedgehog team since my daughter started a few months ago. The nursery is well led and a warm, collaborative and caring culture has been established. The nursery were flexible in their approach to help my daughter settle during the pandemic and demonstrated
a high level of knowledge and experience in child development and attachment.
My daughter is cared for by a fantastic team of practitioners who are confident, skilled and clearly love their job. She is making excellent progress and is excited to go to nursery each session. What more could a parent ask for?
I would highly recommend any new parents looking for childcare to book a visit to meet the team and explore the nursery.

My son joined the nursery in January after a few Covid safe settling in sessions that took place in December. I had concerns about sending my son to nursery following the various lockdowns and restrictions during 2020 as I was concerned how he would settle after little social interaction outside of
the family however, I need not of worried. The staff in ducklings room are so caring and helped my son settle into his nursery routine with ease.
Each day he is cared for, eats a variety of foods and enjoys various activities and lots of messy play! They indulge his interests (reading, musical instruments, sensory play etc) and I can tell how much he enjoys spending time there. The nursery use Tapestry to share photos and write-ups about your child’s day so you really feel included as to what their day was like.
I, without a doubt, wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this nursery and the staff in ducklings room.

My daughter loves coming to nursery, she always has a big smile on her face when one of the staff from ducklings comes to the door to get her. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful and, despite her joining during the pandemic and lockdown, we feel like we are informed of everything she is doing
and learning.

I couldn't be happier with this nursery. Our son has settled in perfectly and created some wonderful relationships with the staff who are honestly incredible - they are attentive, caring, professional and always on hand for any queries I may have as a new parent. We are kept up to date with the fantastic
activities our son gets up to at nursery, and he comes home every day happy and content. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Two of my children have progressed through Abington Park day nursery over the past 3-4 years and I cannot recommend the setting enough.


I would recommend to anyone with any baby to preschool-aged child.


My children have both developed so well in their care.


My eldest will miss the setting

and the teachers immensely when she moves on to primary school in September.

All the staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. The nursery is undergoing a refurb, however, this hasn’t affected my child or me at all. In fact, I love seeing the changes that are being made and definitely can’t wait to see the finished result!
My child has an amazing time every day he attends.
The staff share all the activities my son has done throughout the day in detail and we recently attended a parents evening where his key person gave me a detailed vision of what we should be doing next to support him.

Both my children have attended this nursery and I’m so happy with the way they are looked after. Taylor Considine

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Working for the childcare sector in nursery settings since 2011, Taylor holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, Level 5 in Management and is passionate about SEND. She enjoys expanding her knowledge across all areas of childcare to ensure she is providing the best care to children and staff. Taylor has experienced senior positions within Abington Park since July 2014, culminating in acceptance of the Manager position in 2022.
