Kindred Lowdham Nursery and Pre-school occupies a beautiful Georgian house and provides a friendly, home from home environment supported by warm, caring and mature staff that have extensive childcare experience.

The nursery also offers before and after school care for children attending local schools. There is a lovely all-weather outdoor play area with fantastic climbing equipment.

There is also an allotment where the preschool children can grow vegetables. As well as providing all the usual activities quality day nurseries provide, specialist practitioners provide extra special classes - Forest schools, French, Music and Movement and Yoga. The nursery is happy to accept all nursery vouchers and offer Nursery Grant places. All meals are prepared and cooked on the premises.

I have 2 boys at Alphabet House couldn't be happier with the level of care, learning, activities and understanding the whole team show towards them. The boys love attending and have so much fun when there. I would 100% recommend Alphabet House to anyone!

My son always has lots of fun-filled days with you. Your activity packs ensure he has the opportunity to develop further.
We are happy with the staff teaching and tracking of the children. We feel well informed on his progress.
The staff are a credit to the nursery and feel the nursery deserves

First impressions of Alphabet House Day Nursery was that it was warm, homely, friendly yet a professional place. It has so far lived up to be just that. All the staff are welcoming, helpful and hard-working.
Our son smiles when he sees the ladies in the baby room, so I know he is well cared for. Communication
from management is fantastic, and the variety of events and activities happening all of the time is brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.

Alphabet House Day Nursery has been a lovely nursery for my little boy. From starting in the baby room the staff have been amazing.

My daughter has really developed during her time at nursery so far. She learns a lot and is always showing me new things she can do.
The staff are excellent. I feel safe leaving her as I feel she is in safe hands and the staff really care about her.
The menu is great with lots of vegetarian options.
My daughter has started eating a lot more too.
Also, good activities, messy play, yoga etc and they accommodated my eco cloth nappies.

Our experience with Alphabet House has been absolutely fabulous since our daughter started in 2016. The staff are friendly and great at what they do, they care for the children and we would highly recommend based on how much our daughter loves it there. She has her journey at nursery document and we
get to see how she's developing. Great outdoor play and indoor activities but mostly is the staff that make this nursery great.

From the first visit to Alphabet House Nursery (Lowdham) the staff were very attentive to my son's needs. They helped settle him in and offered him lots of cuddles and care when I initially started to drop him off and he was upset. Since then, our son has developed lots of skills and experienced an
array of fantastic learning opportunities. He is happy and really enjoys coming to nursery. I feel very confident in the high level of care and support that all the staff provide for him. I highly recommend Alphabet House.

Hi I'm Kelly. I started my early years journey as a nursery nurse after completing my level 3 diploma in childcare and education. I then worked my way up gaining many new skills along the way. I became a room leader then deputy manager and now manager gaining lots of valuable experience and knowledge.


I really enjoy being part of each and every child’s development and helping each child to learn in fun and engaging ways. I have a passion to run the nursery on a day to day basis providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I have worked in childcare since 2014 and began my career working as a nursery apprentice completing my Level 3 qualification. I have worked my way up to a qualified practitioner, room leader and now as our Deputy Manager.


I enjoy working within the rooms to ensure that children are safe and happy in our care, providing experiences they will thrive from and helping them to develop their abilities as independent children who are confident at nursery.
