Kids Planet Daisies Lowdham offers flexible childcare for families living in the local community.

The nursery is a light and bright space designed to stimulate and engage children. There is also a great outdoors space for when the fun can no longer be contained to the indoors!

With a focus on promoting positive development, the team also want children to feel happy and safe during their time at the nursery. Each day is planned to offer child and adult led experiences, and there is always somewhere to go for some quiet time when it is needed. The team strive to build collaborative relationships with families, helping them to deliver the best care for each child whilst also ensuring parents never feel that they are missing out on those big moments during the early years.

The staff are all brilliant and take a genuine interest in the children. There'a a really good atmosphere at the nursery and our boy loves going in every day!


The food and activities are varied, and the feedback is too notch

We have two children in the nursery who have attended from young babies. There are a few childcare providers in the village but the care in the baby room and beyond has been exceptional and we wouldn't send them anywhere else. The staff really do care and are so nurturing.
We love the outdoor space
which other nurseries we had seen could not complete with, and they spend so much time outside which is fantastic and was a really important distinction vs. others to us - they have stories round the fire with the hot chocolate they make on the camp fire and other forest school-esque activities.
There are so many great crafts they do that come home but also external activity providers that come in for the children, such as a yoga lady (which our toddler now does at home as she loves it) and a football coach who comes in, trips to the local bookshop, park, and library. We're so pleased how much reading the staff do with the children as we think it's really helped our little girls speech.

My son loves going, the staff are lovely and the facilities are great. Lots of activities outdoor and we're always kept up to date with what's going on through the app. All the different rooms are kept tidy and have lots of toys suitable for the respective ages.

I have wonderful things to say about the nursery that my daughter has attended since she was 4 months old. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere that puts parents at ease.
One of the caregivers has been a true blessing for us. Her caring nature and passion for helping
young children have made a big difference in my daughter's growth. She connects with each child, creating a supportive environment that encourages exploration and learning.
I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a place where their child can thrive. Thank you, to that particular caregiver, and the whole team!

My child started in January and I'd never left him before. Within weeks he was excited to go and even cried on his none nursery days when we dropped his brother off at school because he wanted to go to his school too. The staff know him extremely well and all of his little quirks - I love the personal
feedback at the end of the day where I'm told some of the little things he's done in the day that relate just to him. Activities are set up to help support his development using his interests to help him engage (his most current interest is animals, since visiting the farm!) My son loves the outside area, he often comes home talking about frogs in the pond and digging for worms! I'm so glad we found Kids Planet Lowdham.

Since starting, my little girl has grown and grown in confidence and in herself! I have nothing but positive feedback, from the environment to the staff! Everyone is always so friendly on drop off and pick up, my girl never wants to leave! I love that they get so messy and spend so much time outdoors,
they are always having so much fun! So happy that we chose to send her there! Staff have been so accommodating, fitting her in on different days to help with a family emergency and always checking in with us as a family.

My two children have been at the nursery for the last 3 years (moving from baby room through to preschool). During this time there was a change of ownership, but fortunately, some of the staff remained and our children have loved the time spent with them and will miss them when they leave to go to school
in September. The current team are all great and my children have developed their skills ready to move to school. The range of extra activities offered by the nursery (such as book club, football and Udeskole) really enables the children to be creative and explore and my children always talk about these at home. Thank you to the team for all the extra effort put into my children's graduation and personalised journey books, they will leave with 3 years of great memories.

My son has been at the setting for three years. It has really helped him come out of his shell and find his voice (quite literally as he was a late talker). At bedtime he wants us to tell him stories about his friends at nursery, and that includes all the staff. He loves the Udeskole and recently encouraged
us to spend more time in creative play in our garden, despite in the past finding it stressful to get dirty or wet. He also now understands campfire safety! He has made firm friends which is really special.
Sometimes we do wish we had more varied daily feedback on collection (or faster publication of updates in the app) but we do understand the challenges in providing that for all the children and we do always get told if there's anything uncharacteristic to report. The staff are all lovely and I know he'll really miss them; luckily his brother will still be there, so he'll get to say hi and show off his school uniform when we collect his brother.

We recently moved both of my children to Kids Planet Lowdham and they have both settled in so well, all of the staff are lovely and caring. My main concern was staff turnover (which was an issue at a previous nursery), however, here it has been a consistent team and if there are any changes they are
communicated well in advance. Each room is well thought out for the appropriate age range and Montessori play really works well with my pre-school child. Outdoor play is prioritised and the staff do really well to encourage their imagination and to explore the large garden space. We get regular updates in the app of both children and the staff will go into detail about their day at the pick-up.

Our little girl has been at Kids Planet Lowdham from baby room and toddler room and is only leaving due to re-locating. We have been so happy with her time here and are sad to leave as she’s loved it. The staff have supported her and us through covid and family difficulties. We’ve always known she is
safe and having a great time whilst at nursery. The outdoor space is incredible and one of the best nurseries we’ve seen. And recently the new toys and resources have proven very popular, she is always excited to show us what she’s been playing with and doing that day.

Since Kids Planet has taken over the resources are much better. The children have a lot more variety of toys, food and activities. The staff seem/appear much happier and information at the end of the day is much better. The children are excited about attending and getting more involved.

The staff at the nursery look after our child with the utmost care. They were careful to understand our needs and wants and communicate with us to ensure our child is as happy as can be. Their ethos of 'child first' perfectly fits how we parent and as a result the quality and consistency of care given
has helped our child develop in leaps and bounds. We couldn't be happier with the care given and highly recommend this nursery, and especially, the baby room to anyone. Thank you all, you're brilliant.

We love Daisies Day Nursery, Lowdham! My little boy goes here and he is really excited when he arrives in the mornings! He is always learning new things and being supported in his development by the staff! They make learning fun and he really has thrived since starting! I couldn’t recommend this nursery
enough, the staff are like friends and the communication is brilliant, always keeping us up to date on what he is up to and what key milestones he’s achieving. Brilliant Nursery!

Lindsey is the manager of Kids Planet Lowdham and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the sector for 31 years. Lindsey is NNEB qualified and joined our Lowdham team in January 2023.


What's your favourite feature of your nursery? My favourite feature is that all rooms have access to outdoor space. Our garden has many inspiring features including a special area for Udeskole, the children are able to access a range of activities from using tools, den making and stories around the fire pit.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of how well the team works together throughout the nursery, engaging with all children and providing a positive engaging environment for all our children in our care.

Charlotte enjoys working with our youngest children within our nursery and works hard to ensure that the children feel safe, secure and happy while in our care. Charlotte likes the separate space for babies to explore their environments safely and that they have access to outdoors, not just our gardens but likes to take the babies to the park.
