Kids Planet Country Park is nestled on the edge of Bestwood Country Park which is used for the nursery forest school sessions

The nursery provides a tranquil baby room with lots of resources for little hands. The toddler room is spacious and bright and is full of activities to develop curious minds.

The pre-school room has plenty of space for exploring and engaging in activities for children to extend there critical thinking skills. This is all support with a dedicated team on hand to help and encourage children to become life long learners giving them the best possible start in life.

The nursery offers Forest school session with accredited member of the team, offering lots of opportunity for outdoor learning. The nursery offers signing session and yoga throughout their time at nursery alongside outings and visits to the local library and community.

A nursery cook prepares all meals on site with fresh ingredients. Menus change daily with a range of healthy balance meals catering for all dietary needs.

Both my girls have attended this nursery both going through toddlers room into preschool room. They have both loved attending this nursery. My eldest loved forest schools and taking trips into the forests when she attended.
The main thing that makes this nursery amazing is the staff - 4 staff members
in particular are amazing ! My girls adore them ! They go above and beyond to make sure the children are happy and settled.

My eldest daughter attended this nursery from February 2021 to August 2024, my younger daughter currently attends (after starting in September 2024). I highly recommend the nursery as both of our girls love(d) it, and I have been consistently impressed by the staff and their dedication to the children.
They are so positive and enthusiastic, and they have so many creative ideas for activities.
I also really appreciate how much time the children get to spend outdoors here, my younger daughter is in the baby room and loves playing in the baby garden. My older daughter really loved going to Forest School regularly with the nursery, and still often talks about it.

Our daughter started nursery in November as I was returning to work.
I can't praise the staff enough, I was a nervous wreck about leaving her but everybody was so reassuring and I got lots of picture updates.
Even if I called multiple times a day, they showed no annoyance!
Our girl has honestly
come on leaps and bounds after starting, she's so talkative!
The feedback we get at the end of each day is honestly the highlight of our days, if I don't do pick up, they feed back to me at drop off.
They've always been so accommodating of her needs, following a vegan diet, taking extra time and care if she's grumpy with her teething.
They've always know her inside and out and really tailor their care to knowing what she responds to.
I recommend our nursery to anyone I get the opportunity to!

I have used the nursery for both of my children and overall have always been very satisfied with the care they have received.
The staff have always taken the time to get to know my children, their interests and preferences. The nursery have provided a safe and engaging environment for the children
to develop and challenged them to progress in their learning.
My eldest was well prepared for school when she left the nursery, having confidence to go into a new environment with all new people and excel.
My youngest is in the baby room now and enjoys attending nursery and is always excited when she sees the baby room staff.

We've been with this nursery since 2020. I'd recommend this nursery to anyone with a baby, toddler or pre-schooler.
I've rated everything 5* because my experiences, with both of my children in this nursery have been and continue to be excellent.
As a parent, the transition for Hollies to Kids Planet
has been unproblematic. Communications have been appropriate and relevant. Even regarding payments, it's felt easy, I've felt well-informed. The staff have adapted to the change brilliantly. Meaning consistency for parents and the children.

Both of our children have attended Kids Planet (previously Hollie's) Country Park. My eldest successfully graduated in the sweetest ceremony and is now managing well at primary school, thanks to the team at nursery for helping to prepare her for this transition. My youngest still attends and thoroughly
enjoys her time here. Knowing they are comfortable and happy makes leaving them so much easier. On the occasional times when I have had any concerns regarding either child, the staff have stepped in to help support and overcome any issues promptly, showing their dedication to the children, families, and nursery. Staff have always been friendly and approachable. A particular thanks to the long-standing staff over the last 3 years who have made our experience more personal... 5 members of staff in particular.

Our son started here in Feb 2022 and has come on leaps and bounds. He has made great friendship groups with both children and staff and has been really happy through each room he has moved into. We will be sad to leave but feel he is now ready for the next step in preparing for his new school in a new

Our son has been at Kids Planet Country Park since he was 6 months old and now at 3 years old, it's time for him to move on. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery.
Every member of staff has been fantastic with special thanks for their incredible dedication and support. They've created a

The staff are friendly and helpful. My granddaughter enjoys going to nursery she has settled in well and become very independent. The room is clean and has a wide variety of activities which are changed frequently. We enjoy looking at the pictures that were sent and find the sign of the week very helpful.

Home from home for our little ones. My little girl has been here since February and she absolutely loves it. I can't tell you how much reassurance that provides a parent when leaving their child. The staff are incredibly helpful, and caring and provide detailed updates on how your child has been throughout
the day at handover. The staff not only know the parent & the child in the nursery but also have taken time to interact with her older brother when he drops off with me. Meals are varied making sure they have exposure to lots of healthy flavours & textures. The baby room has recently had a makeover and every time I go the children are so engaged it's so lovely to see. The extra activities they provide such as yoga and sign language is fantastic. My little one loves this interaction and also loves practicing her sign at home with the videos they provide each week of the words they have been doing. Would I recommend Kids Planet Country Park - absolutely!

My child enjoys the nursery so much and has settled so well over these last couple of months! Since our little one started at this nursery (formally Hollies Day Nursery), we have all loved the experience. From settling on sessions, handovers, photos, updates and general conversation the staff and setting are wonderful. The setting is calm, relaxing and engaging. I would like to share a review of the exceptional country park day nursery that my one-year-old son attends. As a parent, finding a nurturing and safe environment for such a young child is no small task, but this nursery has far exceeded my expectations. The level of care, the warmth of the staff, and
the engaging activities they provide have created a truly wonderful experience for my son and for me as a parent! From the very first day, it was clear that my son was in a place where he would be genuinely cared for. The nursery staff have a way of making each child feel special, and they've taken time to understand my son's unique needs, his personality, and even his little quirks. They provide daily feedback on how he spent his time, whether he's tried new foods or interacted with new friends, and they're always open to listening to any concerns or updates I might have about his routine at home. My daughter has been attending the Country Park Nursery for just over 8 months and in that time, she's created an incredible bond with the team in the baby room. The whole team really care for my daughter and whenever I pick her up, she has a huge smile on her face! I have to give a special thanks to
the nursery manager and another staff member. We went through a challenging period a couple of months ago and they both did everything they could to support my daughter and our family, going above and beyond.

My 1-year-old in the baby room loves the weekly hand sign session, the teacher also shares a video of the signs for the week so parents can learn too, this has massively helped with communication at home. The care and ethos of the nursery has developed the confidence and social skills of my little one,
the staff take the time to invest in individual relationships and he misses going when nursery is shut! He eats everything and has a decent nap, there's rarely any drama at drop-off. The staff regularly update the app with useful information and photos of activities he's been enjoying.

This nursery is a great environment for both our daughters. Our youngest (18 months) is developing in leaps and bounds with her coordination and motor skills, not to mention her speech and social skills. Our eldest who has just started school had no issues at starting school which I put down to how
the nursery and staff prepared them for the school environment as they got closer to school starting age. The staff are warm and friendly, always welcoming every child in the morning with a smile. In the evening we are given personal feedback of what our child has done that day, how they have been and any stories of what they have done. The staff genuinely enjoy their jobs and it shows, having nothing but a positive impact on the children in their care.

Kids Planet Country Park is an amazing nursery. It's a true home-from-home experience, which is very important to us when leaving our child in their care. They offer a wide range of activities that are constantly challenging the children to learn in lots of different ways. Everyone is so welcome and
it almost has the feel of an extended family. The staff there fill us with the utmost confidence with the care of our child and I know all that they do is in the best interests of the children.

Our daughter has been at Hollies since November 2013, aged 10 months, and graduated in August, aged 4. I am so impressed with the love and dedication the staff show. Each and every day they welcomed our daughter would tell us about 'something special' she had done each day. Our daughter thrived in their
care - benefitting from learning French, Spanish, baby signing, going to forest schools and trips into the local community. I wholeheartedly recommend Hollies and look forward to our newest arrival joining them next year!

I have been working in the childcare sector for over 15 years and have a foundation degree in early years. I have been working at Country Park for the last 2 years and love this nursery that surrounds within the woodland area. I am first aid trained as are all my team. I'm also the designated safeguarding lead and support the role of senco.
