This Ofsted registered 'Outstanding' Paper Moon Day Nursery (June 2018) is a purpose-built nursery with a bright and modern interior that enables children to learn in a caring environment. All early years practitioners are highly-trained and committed to quality care and education, assisted by two large outdoor play areas, a separate outdoor free flow space for two-year-olds, meals freshly prepared on site and a biometric security system.

Key EYFS objectives are adopted, as the team looks to help set the building blocks for life. There is a focus on getting to know each individual, made possible by a key worker system that allows the team to respond to any specific needs and keeps parents up-to-date with progress.

Our son has recently started Pre-School and has absolutely loved it, really smooth transition and what used to be a little bit of a struggle to get him to nursery (had a great time once there) but now he loves going and can't wait to go.

All the staff are really nice and helpful and my little boy really enjoys it and has come on leaps and bounds in just the few short weeks he's been there! Thank you everyone for making his time at nursery such a pleasure!

My child always learns so much when he goes to nursery, and is always excited to show/tell us what he's done during his session. The staff are all very friendly, informed, and approachable. The communication from the nursery is very good, with regular app updates.

My daughter joined Paper Moon just recently, in the Tweenies room. I felt very welcome, the staff were amazing with myself and my daughter from the get-go, I knew straight away I wanted my daughter to come to this nursery when I went for the first visit. She is really enjoying her time there, the staff
are so friendly and the nursery is very clean, with a lot of activities and toys for the children to play with.

What an outstanding and welcoming nursery. I really struggled with the thought of sending my little one to just anywhere, but after a lot of research, I found Paper Moon. The staff there made myself and my daughter feel extremely welcome. She has only been going for just over a week, and already, I
can see a difference in her growth. I would recommend this nursery to everyone with children. Lovely, clean, very secure with the security features and always kept up to date via the nursery app. 10 stars if I could give it to them.

From the moment we stepped into the office, we were made so welcome! We have been visiting other nurseries, and there is not a single one like Paper Moon Nursery. We instantly knew that this was the nursery for our son. The staff greets the kids with big hugs in the mornings and always says goodbye.
Our son is so happy being part of it, and we, as parents, could have not wished for better care during our working hours for our monkey. I cannot recommend Paper Moon enough! It is like a home from home. Excellent facilities, no broken toys, lots of activities and the staff are amazing!

My daughter loves coming to this nursery. She’s been going since she was 1 and is now 3 and has never protested to go. Coming here has massively progressed her confidence, and speech and is always coming home with something new she has learnt. The staff set up activities and play for children to learn
and have fun. The staff truly take an interest in your child and look after them so well I have never had any complaints. The nursery also provides a healthy menu with so much variety. Management is hands-on too and is so welcoming and a joy to have a chat with, you can chat with all the staff they’re very friendly. My youngest daughter will be coming here when I go back to work and I have no doubt she will enjoy herself and I won’t have to worry if she is being cared for. I 100% recommend sending children to this nursery.

Could not recommend this nursery more. The staff are absolutely amazing and treat your child like one of their own. My little boy comes home each day happy and looking forward to returning the next day. The activities the staff do with the children are so fun and always improve their learning. My son
has progressed so much with his speech and understanding and I believe Paper Moon have had a massive input towards this.

My daughter has been going here and the SEN support is the best I’ve seen in a nursery bar none.
Without naming individuals the support of the team is second to none, even on our girl's worst days they supported us all and I couldn’t thank everyone enough for it.
The facilities are excellent and the
rooms constantly change to keep things interesting.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a comfortable and safe space for their child!
I’ll certainly be heartbroken when it’s time for us to move on.

Wonderful nursery, my 3-year-old granddaughter absolutely loves it. She is so happy from the minute she walks in the door and still smiling when she leaves, The staff are all amazing, very caring and supportive and will go above and beyond. I would recommend Paper Moon.

We couldn’t ask for a better nursery for our daughter, she has been here for a few years and every member of staff is attentive and caring, everyday she doesn’t want to come home as she’s having too much fun and nothing is ever too much for the wonderful staff here. They keep activities fresh, inclusive
and interesting for all of the kids, I would recommend this nursery to anyone that I know with children in a heartbeat. Thank you for all your hard work always Paper Moon Day Nursery, I’ll be so sad when our daughter leaves this wonderful place.

Our daughters attended Paper Moon Day Nursery since age 2. Every team member stands out. The care my children received is exceptional. Our daughters’ development has excelled in every possible way. They thrive in such a loving environment where they can express themselves. They're given tools to explain
thoughts and feelings. Positive reinforcement strategies are used. I love the structure of the nursery. Paper Moon has had such a positive impact on my children but also myself. A detailed handover is always given. It's clear to see the staff love the work they do and have the best interests of the children at heart. We will be moving a distance from Paper Moon Day Nursery however, we will be going out of our way to keep our daughter at Paper Moon Day Nursery purely on the basis that I would be concerned that no other setting would be able to compare to the high standard of care and the safe environment the staff provide. Thank you to the whole team.

I have been sending my child here for the past two years and they really are amazing with him. He loves going there and has come on so much in his learning and development since attending. The staff are fantastic and they really go above and beyond to make sure the children get everything they need
but also to make you feel comfortable as a parent leaving them. Could not recommend enough.

Since attending Paper Moon Day Nursery, my daughter has progressed and developed significantly. She enjoys her days and the vast amount of activities they do throughout the day. The staff are extremely friendly and always welcome our daughter with a smile. The communication is very good and we always
know how our daughter has been through it the day. The tapestry app is really good to see what our daughter has been doing throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this nursery!

My 1-year-old has just started nursery at Paper Moon Day and also my firstborn who is now 4 went to Paper Moon Day as a 2-year-old in 2020. This nursery is amazing the staff are fantastic. I was never a big fan of day nurseries however these guys changed my mind completely! I feel like they have treated
both my kids as if they were their own! They made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my children in their care. Nothing is too much trouble and when my first child left I saw the strong bond they had built with her!


My 1-year-old has settled in so well and I'd recommend these guys to anyone, I trust them so much. Both my kids seem to have so much fun and learn so much too! I also think the meals they provide are brilliant too I know my little one is going to have fantastic meals whilst at nursery.

Lovely nursery and staff. Very caring and are great in keeping partners up to date regarding safety during the pandemic. Definitely recommend! My little boy is learning so much. Every time he comes back from nursery he’s learned a new word or even a phrase!

My son started nursery in January after coming from a childminder setting, even during Covid they made it so welcoming and safe. It took a few weeks for him to settle into such a different setting, but he now thoroughly enjoys going and has become very comfortable with all the staff in his room. His
development has come on leaps and bounds since starting and I look forward to seeing how well he progresses in the future. Both the staff and management are wonderful and have helped with both mine and my son's worries since starting, making us both feel a lot more at ease and look forward to coming!

Before choosing Paper Moon Day Nursery, I viewed other nurseries, however, I felt that I didn’t get the same positive environment and warm welcoming as I did with Paper Moon!


My son has been attending Paper Moon Day Nursery since January 2022. Each morning he happily goes in with the biggest smile

on his face and leaves with the same smile, at the end of the day. It is lovely to see the development in my son already, in the three months that he’s been there.


Every member of staff at Paper Moon that I have spoken to has been lovely. The communication passed on from staff members to me is excellent; I know exactly what my child has eaten throughout the day, what he’s drunk, played with etc from his diary/verbal communication as well as, receiving photos and important information through Tapestry. Although my child is handed over through a door - due to Covid, I always feel up-to-date with any news/changes.

My son literally doesn't want to leave sometimes, he has that much fun playing and learning. Makes me feel confident and happy leaving him, when I go to work.


Any updates nursery always call straight away and even call work number to make sure they reach me.

Absolutely wonderful nursery.


My little boy has attended this nursery since 9 months old (he's now 3) and he absolutely loves it, his confidence is growing all time and I believe this is because of the amazing support and encouragement he receives from the ladies, who are great! Keep up the good

work and thank you! It'll be a sad day when he leaves in September but I know you've given him the tools to move on to reception comfortably.
