Our son has been going to Scott's Wood since he was 1 and started in the baby room, it's been a real pleasure seeing him grow and develop his personality through the different rooms. The staff are all so welcoming, and caring and provide support and fun activities for all the little ones. We feel very
comfortable knowing our son is well cared for and we are kept up to date with photos of his day and upcoming events from the nursery. All the staff are extremely dedicated to each child's learning journey and that really shows, they are a real credit to the nursery. I would definitely recommend Scott's Wood as a nursery.

Our two children are so happy at Scott's Wood. They both started in the baby room at just over one year old and the staff were fantastic at getting them settled into nursery life. They both love their nursery days and we feel reassured that they are getting the best care, healthy food, a brilliant range
of activities that are well thought out considering individual needs and they are surrounded by professional staff that really care about their wellbeing and development.

Of all the nurseries we looked around in the local area Scott's Wood was our first choice and we have had no reason to doubt that since our child started at the nursery. They are nothing but helpful and accommodating to us and our child and, as well as our child, we get on well with the nursery employees.
We get communicated the right level of information about our child's progress and they often go above and beyond to talk about our child's needs. Thanks, Scott's Wood!

The staff, the facilities, and the overall care provided by Scott's Wood to date has been of an incredible standard and we are really happy with the care provided. Our son has settled into nursery really well and we put this down to how attentive the staff are, and how welcoming they are to us as parents
and to him. We are kept well updated and our son's development has really improved since starting nursery, especially his social and language skills. I can't thank Scott's Wood enough for the care they provide our child, and we see them as an extension of our family.

Our daughter attended another local nursery in the area after she turned 2 however we were not 100% comfortable with that setting after spending a few settling-in sessions there. We then transferred across to Partou Scotts Wood Day Nursery and could not have wished for a better place.
The setting
is very well run and of a very high standard in terms of staff caring for children, encouraging positive behaviour, educational activities, and facilities. We feel our daughter has been given excellent opportunities to learn and mix with the staff and other children both indoors and outdoors.
A special thank you to the two ladies in the Garden Room as well as the three members of staff in Magic Attic for making the nursery such a special and welcoming place. Our daughter speaks fondly of the nursery and staff when she comes home. A big thank you to the managing team for seamlessly transferring our daughter into the nursery and making our experience so memorable.

My girls have been attending Partou Scott Wood Day Nursery since February 2024. My eldest daughter was shy and would not come out of shell before Nursery but I have noticed a change in behaviour. My daughter is now open and happy to engage with her peers, sometimes with her teachers.
My youngest daughter
woke up one night and asked me to take her to her nursery teacher, she loves going to nursery and is very excited to see her teachers, and as parents, we could not ask for more.
There was a time when we were unable to pick the girls up on time due to unforeseen circumstances but we were shocked at how much patience and reassurance they gave us, it was phenomenal. Two staff members, in particular, we appreciate you ladies.
Also, I like the idea of uploading pictures of the activities that they have done for us to see what they have been doing for the day.
Overall, I would recommend Partou Nursery for the above reasons and also, the way they are structured to be able to access the nursery with a code.

We currently have both of our daughters attending Scotts Wood and we couldn't be happier with the experience they have both had. Our eldest joined when she was 2 years old as we'd just moved to the area and despite our concerns as to how she would settle in she has flourished under the supervision of
her amazing key workers. She is set to start primary school in September and we all feel very prepared for that next step as a result of the support we've been given. Our youngest daughter has been at Scotts Wood for the past 6 months and settled in very quickly. Both of the girls look forward to going to nursery every day and on some occasions don't want to leave when we collect them! Every single member of staff is fantastic and we couldn't recommend Scotts Wood highly enough.

Both of our children went to Scott's Wood and loved it. The nursery offers a homely, nurturing environment. My children felt secure, happy and excited to learn. We were very impressed by the expertise and dedication of the nursery staff and also the quality of the management. Communication was always

We are so pleased with this lovely nursery! We were nervous about putting our one-year-old into nursery at the time but the staff were so supportive, kept in contact and help made the process so easy. Since then, our son has loved the past 10 months and we couldn't recommend the staff in the toddler
room enough!

The team at Scott’s Wood are amazing, the personalized care, warmth and thought they all willingly provide is second to none. Our daughter went there for 3 years and she constantly asks to go back and visit now. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend! My child has been attending the nursery for half a year, and they have absolutely loved it. The staff are incredibly caring and nurturing, and they have created a warm and welcoming environment where children can feel safe and secure. My child has made so many new friends at nursery,
and they have learned so much. The staff have tailored their teaching to their individual needs, and they have helped them to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. I am so grateful for the care and attention that the staff at Scotts Wood Day Nursery have given my child. The staff are incredibly dedicated and passionate about their work. Our daughter started at Scott’s Wood in January, and she has settled in so well, and that’s all down to the nursery. The staff in the baby room are wonderful; they clearly love what they do, and they go above and beyond. The nursery is well run with great communication and safeguarding too.

Our daughter has been at Scott's Wood for five months so far, and from when we first looked around to now, everyone has been super friendly, caring and supportive. The staff are honestly amazing, and the care and attention they give the children is wonderful. The spaces are great, with the outside bit
being our little one's favourite, and even the menu sounds super tasty! Our daughter has absolutely thrived since being here, and it's so nice knowing she is going to be well looked after and have a great day when we drop her off. We have never had any issues and have nothing but praise for everyone. We love sending our daughter to Scott's Wood, and she definitely loves it there too. We can't recommend Scott's Wood enough.

We enrolled our daughter into Scotts Wood in January, having moved to the area. The information sent ahead of her joining was very comprehensive, and the staff were all very responsive and helpful. After a very short time, our daughter was settled, happy and excited to go to nursery each day - the staff
are all wonderful, and I love that when she arrives each morning, they all excitedly welcome her, and she is happy to say goodbye and spend the day with lots of friends. Her development has come on very well since joining, and her day seems full of different activities and lots of outdoor time, which is what we had been looking for in a nursery. I would 100% recommend Scotts Wood and am so very happy with our choice to send her there - she even shouts "home" when she arrives, which is wonderful to see.

Our daughter has been attending Scotts Wood Day Nursery for over a year now. From when she first started at 8 months old, the staff and environment made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and our daughter settled in straight away. We are always impressed with the activities they do and how engaged the
staff are with the children. They are all really professional but also very caring and really just feel like extended family and have a real investment in how well the children are doing. It is an excellent day nursery, and we would recommend it.

Scotts Wood have been really attentive to my daughter's needs. We are so happy with how well our little boy has settled in at Scotts Wood; in just a few months he’s been in the baby room, he’s really flourished.
When we arrive in the morning, as we are walking up to the door, he starts smiling and getting excited once he recognises where he is, and he happily
goes to the staff once we are in, often giving them a cuddle, which is lovely to see and know how content he is.
All of the staff are warm and caring and really take the time to get to know the children and understand what is best for them on an individual basis. Communication is great; we are kept up to date with every aspect of his day, including his food, sleep times and activities.
It really is a home from home, and we would definitely recommend Scotts Wood.

Our son started at Scotts Wood when he was 1 year old. As he was born during the pandemic, we were apprehensive about putting him into a childcare setting. However, everyone at Scotts Wood made it so easy for us. Every single member of staff is friendly, caring and personable. We always felt our son
was absolutely safe and well looked after during his time there.
After about 6 months, our son developed separation anxiety affected nursery drop-off; very stressful for all of us, but the manager and our son's key workers worked closely with us to work through these difficulties, and they truly cared about our son having a settled and enjoyable time at nursery. This meant an awful lot to us.
We are a same-sex family, and our diversity was respected, appreciated and welcomed, which was wonderful.
The nursery itself is well equipped, clean and has a lovely set-up. We are so sad to leave and can’t recommend highly enough.

We've been part of Scotts Wood Day Nursery for 7 years as both of our children have gone through the nursery from baby room to preschool - the youngest has just left. They have been fantastic. The children have been so happy there and so well looked after - would definitely recommend it to other parents.
There are some really great staff who have gone above and beyond to get to know and understand our children and make nursery the happiest place for them and we are so grateful for such a positive start to their education. The nursery is well organised and friendly with great facilities which are always being added to and refreshed. The children's learning is considered in every activity and updates through the EyLog app kept us in the loop, and as parents, we always felt able to share our concerns and felt listened to. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks, Scotts Wood!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have worked at Scott’s Wood since 2001 and am very proud to be the Manager of such a beautiful and high quality ‘Early Years’ setting. I am committed to further improving our already very high standards, and creating an exceptional ‘Early Years’ experience for babies and young children here in the leafy suburbs of West Bridgford.


Early years has always been my passion and while working here at Scott’s Wood I have completed both a Foundation Degree in Early Years and Education, and BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies and I use my extended knowledge and understanding daily to ensure that we provide the very best environments and experiences for both our children and their parents.
