Bright Horizons Bolton Day Nursery and Preschool supports children's education and development from 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently located near Bolton town centre with excellent bus links, the nursery also has a car park and buggy storage.

Tailored settling-in sessions are available to suit each family’s needs. In the baby room, the staff follow each child’s home routine closely for parents' peace of mind. The toddler room focuses on personal, emotional, physical, and educational development through play.

Preschoolers benefit from the Ready for School program, taught by a qualified preschool teacher, which includes reading, writing, and other essential skills.

The garden, divided into age-specific play areas, supports individual growth. Regular excursions to the local library, museum, and Queen's Park help children explore and connect with their community.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for a year. We are extremely pleased with how she settled in so fast. The progress that she has made throughout the year has been really good. We are kept up to date with her development and we feel very involved. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming
and they are always going that extra mile so thank you all for that. The cleanliness of the nursery is excellent. I know my child is in safe hands throughout the day.

I would highly recommend Bolton Day Nursery as my daughter is very happy here. It took her a while to settle in but the staff at Bolton Day Nursery supported us both through this process. As a new mum I needed extra support to settle her in and I received an impeccable service from all the staff. One
thing that stands out compared to other nurseries is the cleanliness of the nursery and the extremely friendly staff.

My first child settled very well at Asquith, I felt confident that he was being cared for and enjoyed his time at nursery, this enabled me to have full confidence in making the decision to send my second child here. I have visited many nurseries but this nursery stands out by far! A lovely warm setting
for children and a fantastic transition into pre-school.

The nursery have been fabulous with our daughter. The girls are extremely caring and attentive and aspire to meet all of our daughter's needs. They tailor activities to suit her interests and developmental needs. The team provide regular feedback to us as parents and like to work collaboratively to
allow our daughter to reach her full potential.

My daughter's reaction when I drop her off is so positive and happy. The staff are obviously doing a great job. All staff are so friendly and the room is very well equipped. All the other children are always happy and playing lovely. The security is excellent and I feel my child is safe and looked after.

Still in the settling in period, however, up to now I am really happy and impressed with the nursery. The 8-week free settling in sessions are fantastic, I couldn’t find any other nursery with such a policy. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and all greet my daughter by her first name. I also
like the fact they have more than just two separate rooms like most nurseries so I know my daughter will be more with children her age group.

The staff are great and look after my son very well. They encourage development and help with his dairy issues. I can leave him at nursery and not worry at all as I have full confidence in two keyworkers and the rest of the team.

I am delighted with the care that my daughter receives at Bolton Day Nursery. All of the staff are very attentive and have excellent relationships with all of the children. Developmentally my daughter is doing really well and this is thanks to the hard work of the staff. I am really pleased to see the
whole child development opportunities with additional activities such as trips to the farm and the pantomime to enrich the curriculum.

We chose this nursery after looking at a few in the Bolton area because of the friendliness, especially the staff. My daughter was 6mths when she started and naturally as a father I was constantly anxious about how she was throughout the day. The staff fully understood and were very accommodating and
reassuring. Although only a handful look after my daughter full time, all the staff have been extremely kind and friendly from day one. There's always smiles all round every day and not just in the morning, but last thing at night, and that's really reassuring as we all know how hard it can be looking after a child let alone a room full. The professionalism is always there which is one of the key things we were looking for amongst others when choosing a nursery.


My daughter has really bonded with all the staff there, and can't wait to say bye to us when she arrives which leaves no doubt in my mind that this nursery and staff are doing their jobs 110%.


A definite winner in my eyes.

Bolton Pre-School & Day Nursery are a fantastic establishment for young children aged 0-4 and I highly recommend them. They have provided a wonderful environment for my 2 children and I can see the vast knowledge and skills they have gained with the support of all the wonderful and experienced staff

Moved from Scotland last year, a breath of fresh air to come here and meet management and staff.
Right from coming in there is a very warm feeling.
Reception staff and a previous manager were really friendly and approachable.
I felt staff really have given him love and attention.
He has come on
leaps and bounds in the last few months.
He has developed in confidence, enjoys coming in.
I feel at ease that I can talk to staff including managers about any concerns.
The staff have been fabulous!
I wish this nursery propers more and continues to be a safe haven for all kids and parents!

As a parent, I can't praise this nursery enough. Its standards and care are both outstanding. Both my children have attended the nursery and their learning and development have been reached where they are exceeding their milestones in all areas.


The staff make you feel more than welcome and would

go out of the way to make my child and my self to feel safe and happy. Both my girls have had good strong relationships with all staff. The management team do a fantastic job and are more than happy to help you in any way they can or answer any questions that I might have.


Over all the nursery is a fantastic setting and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nursery.

I find Bolton Day Nursery very friendly and very interactive with the kids. My daughter enjoys her time and it was the right choice. The care is brilliant and the food provided is diverse and she enjoys it. The staff are great and I can't find fault them or the nursery.

I have been so impressed with Asquith Nursery since my son started in June 2017. From the moment you walk in, everyone says hello and is friendly and approachable. I can tell my son likes the fact that all members of staff know his name and are always smiling.


The team in his room have been amazing.

They are all very personable, knowledgeable and put me at ease. They have made my son's nursery experience a good one, which was especially important to me with him soon becoming a big brother. Thank you!

Lovely nursery, staff are amazing. My oldest child was here for 3 and a half years and he loved it. He learned so much and had loads of fun.
My 2-year-old loves coming to nursery, the staff were very supportive during the settling in period with both boys. The nursery is always clean and there are
lots of fun activities.
The menu is excellent and has really helped my boys to enjoy a variety of food. The best thing about the nursery is staff. They are all wonderful and it's always been good to know my boys are in the best hands when I am not with them.
