Amazing nursery, my son loves his key carer! He's learnt so much since being here, it's now been 2 years! Management are super accommodating and really do help you out when needed, very easy to communicate too which is always a bonus! Thank you to everyone.

As a mum, I feel comfortable sending my son to this nursery. The staff are lovely and caring and ensure they are well looked after. I was supported when potty training my son and when I was worried about his eating habits. Overall the nursery is great and has great facilities, the only I would like
to see improve is better communication regarding your child's progression and regular updates or
meetings with your child's key carer. I also find it can be difficult sometimes to get hold of team leaders for queries etc.

Really happy to hear all of the positives! Please remember that between the hours of 9:30-3:30 we are very busy with the children, doing hands on activities, daily miles, welcome time, dinner and snacks. We are one of the only nurseries that do daily targeted communication activities and SEN interventions, all of those activities require the staff to be hands-on with the children at all times and we pride ourselves on our quality teaching. If you leave a voicemail one of the team will get back to you as soon as they can, we always check our voicemail messages after 3:30 pm and reply within the day!

TicTots Bolton is excellent value for money and the setting is very flexible taking into consideration children's sickness/absence etc. The environment is open and welcoming making it comfortable for me as a parent to ask questions about my child. I do feel though the daily forms are not bespoke to
each child which doesn't provide much of an insight. I feel my child has developed really well and the staff takes ownership for this. Just a shame as a parent I've not been provided with the opportunity and been declined when I asked for a sit down and chat to understand my child's development areas and strong areas, even though this opportunity was told to me when initially having viewing. Overall TicTots Bolton is a place I have and will continue to recommend. I feel comfortable dropping my child off there and feel the staff have her best interest. Just hope I'm the near future the couple of areas I've highlighted are reviewed and fixed.

I feel the nursery is very caring and supportive. It could improve in the reports element as sometimes they have not been accurate. Overall I feel my son's development has excelled due to the nursery environment and support.

From start to finish absolutely amazing friendly staff, settled my child in so well showing so much care and support every day. From potty training to daily activities. Clean and organised rooms with a wonderful nutritious food menu. Can’t fault it in any way. Would recommend it to friends and family.

Outstanding service from all colleagues. I feel comfortable leaving our child in their capable hands week after week. They ensure that the kids are looked after and do plenty of activities to keep them engaged. At the end of all sessions, I’m given a full overview of how their day went, including their
food and naps.

My 2 year old daughter has been attending this Nursery since December 2014. This nursery offers huge flexibility offering both fixed days which can be pre booked as well as the chance to drop her off at other times, eg. popping to the gym for a class, a change in my or my partners working shifts or
an appointment which may not be suitable for our daughters to attend. This is a unique and fantastic service. TicTots is a very reasonable rate with everything included - nappies and food as well as swimming lessons once per week.
Our older daughter (7years) also likes to attend the Nursery in school holidays for holiday club.I cannot recommend TicTots enough - they are constantly improving and have just opened a new pre school which looks like it will be another asset.


Well Done TicTots Bolton. You have most certainly got it right on ALL levels.

Deborah has been running the TicTots Partnership since February 2008. Working across all three sites, she is a qualified teacher leading and supporting the Senior staff team in building their knowledge to ensure the provision of high-quality childcare and education through informed observation. It is Deborah's passion that assessment and planning take place for all children ensuring they progress in an environment of fun learning with stretch and challenge.

I joined TicTots Bolton in December 2017 as a key carer I have worked in babies, toddlers and preschool throughout the years. I love working in the early years as it makes me happy watching the children grow up, I love supporting them through the different age groups while they are learning new skills, and meeting their goals and milestones.


One of my favourite things about TicTots is that we are key carers for the same group of children from the start of babies all the way to preschool.

I have been working at TicTots for almost 3 years now, at both Bolton and Strand enjoying working as part of the team at both sites.


I have been a nursery practitioner for up to 30 years in a selection of private and charity-run nurseries. I am eager to continually update my knowledge and understanding of how to provide the best possible start to the children in my care. At the moment I am a level 5 in leadership in child care.

I have a love of bringing music and songs to the children due to the fact that they can bring so much enjoyment and learning into young lives. As well as my love of the outdoors letting me be the outdoor champion. I love the way that TicTots really care for the family by assigning a key worker to a child as they start their journey with us. Then both stay together all the way through allowing such a stronger bond to form between the family and the setting.
