Brighter Beginnings Newton Heath is an exceptional nursery, providing outstanding care and education for children. Staff at the nursery are lovely and so friendly. My niece has been attending Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Newton Heath since she was a baby and has grown into a confident little girl. The manager in the nursery is fabulous and is also very helpful. I love to receive pictures and updates on how her

This nursery is outstanding. Amazing staff, they have helped my son loads including potty training and bringing him out of his shell ready for full-time school in September. He's going to miss them so much they are absolutely amazing 100%.

Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery in Newton Heath is a wonderful nursery. All staff are always smiling and friendly. It is clean and tidy. The staff helps my son and daughter to develop their skills (gross motor, fine motor, speech and social interaction). They take them for a walk to the park and around
the nursery. It is a place of fun.
I really like this nursery and I recommend it to every mum and dad.

My child first attended the nursery from November 2017 till March 2021. From January 21 started attending after school club, and holiday club, the nursery provides an excellent service for working parents like myself. My child feels happy and welcome, enjoys all the activities and dinner too. The staff
are friendly, caring and professional. I highly recommend the nursery to family and friends.

Talking about the experiences at this nursery I don't have much to talk about because my daughters started going to this nursery in September last year, but what I have to tell about this little experience I have - it is being very useful for my daughters. They are developing their skills very well,
despite that they have a lot of difficulties, but they are improving their skills a lot of and I as a mother, I just have to thank you for the wonderful team that this nursery has. The staff are very good, they are very welcoming, they are wonderful as professionals. Thank you.

My little one year old attends this nursery. He loves it, the staff are fantastic with the children and have a great relationship with parents. The children do lots of fun activities and go on little trips out to the park and local shops. My son loves the food at nursery he has tasted so many different

Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery is a good school and the school settings is very satisfactory. Although my child just joined the school a week ago, she is very well settled and always eager to go to school each day, which means the kids are being taken good care of and they have all that they need for

My son has attended this nursery since he was 6 months old, he is almost 2 now. He is very happy every morning when he is being dropped off at nursery and is always greeted by a kind member of staff. He has built excellent relationships with the staff and is always happy to see them. The meals the nursery
serves are always nutritional and judging by the way my son eats all of his meals it must be delicious. I love to read his day sheet at the end of the day to see what fun activities he has been up to that day, sometimes it’s playing in the sensory corner others it could be playing outside or even a trip to the park. I have never experienced any sort of problem and this nursery and I really appreciate the effort the staff go to to communicate with me, my son has come on leaps and bounds during his time here. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone and everyone.

Both my children have attended Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Newton Heath. And they were happy and settled really fast. The staff of the nursery are perfect with kids. My little ones even do not want to leave the nursery and each afternoon they are happy to attend the nursery. With their amazing

Amazing staff and amazing care.

My daughter has been coming here since September 2021, she absolutely loves it and can’t wait to tell me about her day when I pick her up. There are so many activities they do for the children and make sure their day is fulfilled with laughter and exciting things! They were able to watch chicks hatch
from the eggs and she absolutely loved it, talking to me about it for a couple of weeks and still does now. The staff are amazing in the rainbow room and the whole nursery all in all is a great team with lots of happy faces when arriving, I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in their care, this nursery is highly recommended!

Hello, my name is Louise and I have worked within the early years sector for over ten years and joined the Brighter Beginnings team in 2023. Over my decade of experience, I have worked my way up from an apprentice to becoming a nursery manager. I have gained an array of knowledge during my time as an early-year practitioner, beginning with a level 2 apprenticeship and more recently graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University completing a degree in Early Years and Childhood studies.


My passion for early years has been something that has driven me to ensure all children and families have a sense of belonging during their time in our setting and feel that they are listened to and understood. As a parent myself, I aim to give support to all families and hope to build strong partnerships with parents and carers. At Brighter Beginnings Newton Heath we love to arrange lots of different special events across the year which we open up to the whole community, some of our most recent events have been a Halloween event in our outdoor provision ‘Brighter Blossoms’, summer and Christmas fairs and stay and play sessions.


It’s a wonderful way to reach out to families and the wider community.

I am level 3 qualified in early years and also hold level 2 and 3 in play work.

I enjoy working alongside the big staff team here at Newton Heath as there is a wide range of qualifications and years of experience amongst our team members. Hello, my name is Imogen, I joined Brighter Beginnings in 2021.


I began my career as an apprentice achieving a Distinction grade in my level 3 qualification.
Since then, I have been given the opportunity to be Newton Heath’s 16–24-month (Little Explorer’s) room leader.


As a room leader, I take pride in all of my work and I am determined to do whatever I put my mind to. I feel confident when leading my team and ensuring children’s and family’s needs are always met to a high standard. I ensure a high-quality provision is provided to the children in our care, and ensure the playroom is fun, inviting and welcoming to all!


I am always looking for new ways and activities to engage the children. I enjoy working together as a whole nursery to create a happy, engaging space for children to grow, develop and establish a positive sense of self.
