My daughter has been coming here since September 2021, she absolutely loves it and can’t wait to tell me about her day when I pick her up. There are so many activities they do for the children and make sure their day is fulfilled with laughter and exciting things! They were able to watch chicks hatch
from the eggs and she absolutely loved it, talking to me about it for a couple of weeks and still does now. The staff are amazing in the rainbow room and the whole nursery all in all is a great team with lots of happy faces when arriving, I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in their care, this nursery is highly recommended!

My granddaughter loves going to this nursery she's always excited to go and tells me all about the day she's had. She enjoys learning new things and playing with all her friends especially playing with the dolls (babies) as she calls them.

My two grandsons have attended the nursery, one is currently attending. Both are bright sociable boys which I think the nursery can take some credit for. It's lovely to be able to see pictures of the activities the children do. The hatching of the chicks was so lovely as was the recent teddy bears picnic.
The staff made the picnic special with lovely, healthy food to eat that the children helped prepare. The recent trip to the park looked exciting. Staff really welcome all children and parents alike, they go that extra mile to ensure the children have a very varied day and learn as they go. Happy children equals happy parents.

Our little one settled into nursery perfectly at the beginning of 2020 and even after Lockdown number one, his return in July was effortless albeit the expected little hesitations. We have no qualms dropping him at nursery as we know he absolutely loves it and goes in and comes out with a smile.
How
easy he settled into nursery is undoubtedly due to how at ease and comfortable he is with the staff and we are so happy and grateful to the team and his keyworker for ensuring he loves his time there and thrives at nursery. We can see his development week on week and he thoroughly enjoys being there.
We love seeing updates of the fun activities they get up to on Facebook and via his learning journey.
We would highly recommend Brighter Beginnings. The staff are all friendly, caring and welcoming.

My child has been at this setting since he was 10 months old and is now three. My child enjoys his days at nursery, engages in a variety of activities that are well planned and serve a purpose towards all aspects of his development; including physical, emotional and educational.
There have been issues
communicating what is done during the nursery day, but staff have responded well to my concerns and put things in place to make greater links with home including personalised day sheets with ‘What have I learnt’ and ‘favourite activities’ and homework style packs that make connections to the activities that have been completed in nursery and home.
The majority of staff appear to enjoy their role and are happy to welcome pupils into the nursery. The current management team are by far the most efficient and knowledgeable that I have experienced here, they appear to be making a great impact on the overall effectiveness of the nursery.

We were originally a little sceptical about sending out little lad here, however, we were glad we did... straight away our little boy found some routine and structure, needed after a year of lockdown! The staff at this nursery are quite approachable and professional if or when you need to chat with
them. They have supported our child in gaining more confidence, which in turn increases his independence, he learns new skills weekly, the main benefit is the increase in communication skills the nursery have, being key to helping develop these skills I feel our boy is just about ready for school and will go on to be a life long learner who has some positive outcomes. The team at Brighter Beginnings Newton Heath are A-star.

My little girl has been going to this nursery for the past year, she is in the preschool room and absolutely loves it. She has come on leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and it has given her the best start to her education in a setting which is welcoming, caring and fun! She has healthy homemade
meals every day which she really enjoys, she tries new foods and understands healthy options. The staff there are really attentive and are very flexible in regards to hours and days. The nursery is always keeping you up to date with what she is learning in her room and there are always fun days were she can can get involved in different activities or events. The learning journals are presented beautifully and really well logged. I feel at ease sending her to nursery knowing she will have a good day and that she will be looked after and after all that’s all any parent would want for their child.

Really good nursery, my child loves it. All the staff are helpful and they are friendly. After trying a few different nurseries I am so glad I was able to get my children in, I had no problems and have had both of my children attend this nursery.

My daughter attends this nursery. I decided to put her in nursery during the pandemic and I have to say it’s the best decision I’ve made. I’m a first time Mum and with all baby clubs being closed I felt this would be a good way for my child to interact with other children. My daughters development has
come on leaps and bounds. My daughter has a close relationship with her teacher. I’m provided with daily updates on collection. This is provided on paper, I’m able to see what my daughter has done on a daily basis such as how many naps, what food and the amount of nappy changes, as well as what interaction she has had that day. We also as parents get monthly updates about the nursery in general. I also enjoy getting the occasional photo message whilst at work, it gives me reassurance that she’s having a good day but also lovely to see. It’s a Covid-19 safe nursery and extra steps have gone in place to protect my child and the other children in the nursery. The staff have done fantastically being able to open during this challenging time. Friendly staff.

This nursery staff are absolutely amazing, they are lovely and so friendly. My son loves to come here to see the staff in the snowball room. They go out of there way to make sure he has a good day. They helped my son get out of his nappies in September and they go above and beyond to help him. His speech
and counting has come on loads since being here with the girls, I can't thank them enough for what they have done with my son. Keep doing a great job girls.

I was a bit optimistic when he first started, I didn’t think he would of settled in as quickly as he did but within three days he was totally settled and felt very comfortable. My son started this nursery in September 2020, he was welcomed with open arms and settled straight away in comparison to his previous nursery. My son loves attending nursery for all of his four days, he is always extremely happy when coming home from here and always has a fun story about the day to
share with me and his other siblings. The staff at this establishment are completely amazing and always go above and beyond to help and support the children and parents. I find the staff very helpful, they are always in communication with the children's parents. I have been superbly happy and content with my son joining this nursery and in ore with the leaps and bounds of progression my son has had and continues to make. I honestly couldn't thank the whole team at nursery enough.

Amazing nursery with amazing staff. There was not even a day when my son would not want to go to the nursery because it is a lot of fun. Staff is amazing and very supportive, they teach to children new stuff every day, develop them in different possible ways - going to the park for a bear hunt, planting
vegetables, showing children how chickens hatch and so many more things that I can't even describe. I am extremely happy that my son attends this nursery, very highly recommended.

My daughter’s relationship with her key worker has gone far beyond my expectations. From the time she wakes up in the morning saying her key workers name to watching her run and jump into her arms. It gives me complete assurance that my daughter is in good hands.

Hello, my name is Louise and I have worked within the early years sector for over ten years and joined the Brighter Beginnings team in 2023. Over my decade of experience, I have worked my way up from an apprentice to becoming a nursery manager. I have gained an array of knowledge during my time as an early-year practitioner, beginning with a level 2 apprenticeship and more recently graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University completing a degree in Early Years and Childhood studies.


My passion for early years has been something that has driven me to ensure all children and families have a sense of belonging during their time in our setting and feel that they are listened to and understood. As a parent myself, I aim to give support to all families and hope to build strong partnerships with parents and carers. At Brighter Beginnings Newton Heath we love to arrange lots of different special events across the year which we open up to the whole community, some of our most recent events have been a Halloween event in our outdoor provision ‘Brighter Blossoms’, summer and Christmas fairs and stay and play sessions.


It’s a wonderful way to reach out to families and the wider community.

I began my career as an apprentice achieving a Distinction grade in my level 3 qualification.
Since then, I have been given the opportunity to be Newton Heath’s 16–24-month (Little Explorer’s) room leader.


As a room leader, I take pride in all of my work and I am determined to do whatever I put my mind to. I feel confident when leading my team and ensuring children’s and family’s needs are always met to a high standard. I ensure a high-quality provision is provided to the children in our care, and ensure the playroom is fun, inviting and welcoming to all!


I am always looking for new ways and activities to engage the children. I enjoy working together as a whole nursery to create a happy, engaging space for children to grow, develop and establish a positive sense of self.
