My daughter attends this nursery. This nursery is fantastic and the staff are really caring and helpful.
I was really anxious when my daughter first started, but staff made me feel so much better and kept me informed all the time. My daughter has really come on since attending this nursery. She was
not a great eater and I was really worried about this. The staff worked with me and my daughter is now eating much better.


I would highly recommend this nursery.

Great nursery with caring staff and management. A very cheerful and positive environment and you feel that right from the time you enter the building. Staff and managers are always helpful and address any queries and questions. They keep arranging new activities and sessions to keep the children active.
Dietary needs are carefully looked after. All in all a fun learning environment where they don't just take care of the children but also actively look to develop their potential.

I have 2 children at this nursery with 2 very different personalities and they both have a great time there. I have been very pleased with both girls key workers and their commitment to my children.
I love the different activities the children have access to.
The management is very personable too
and very easy to communicate with.
I hear story after story about the baby room, the big girl room and the preschool room which sound like very exciting rooms.
The food menu is varied and both children eat well there.
My biggest concern was wethered my children would be able to settle and nap there but I had nothing to worry about.

Both our children have attended this nursery. Our son moved here from one of their other settings and the transition was faultless. Our daughters face lights up when she is dropped off each morning. The staff are friendly, approachable and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble and they are happy to
implement routine changes or try new things that work at home. They treat each child as individuals and motivate and develop them to their own needs and pace. You get daily sheets that explain the child's day, and the staff have time to discuss this at pick up. The safeguarding and nutrition are spot on. My mum went on a day trip with them to the zoo and said she couldn't fault their organisation and enthusiasm. The staff interact with our son when he comes with us for pickups, and they are eager to know how he is developing since he left for school. You can see how much time the staff invest in their motivation, development and safety of each child. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Amazing nursery.
The children get taken on days out. The staff are lovely and friendly. They are attentive to my child's allergy needs. Standards and targets being met. Will be taking my 2nd born there also.

This nursery is very welcoming the staff are very friendly and always smiling. My son settled very easily here and loves coming he is always very excited to go in the mornings, he comes home and tells me all about his day, he especially loves the football and swimming they do with him, the staff are
helpful and always let me know how he has been and if anything has happened throughout the day. I have always felt comfortable leaving him there had no problems at all. A big thank you brighter beginnings staff and keep up the good work wonderful.

My son used to go to this nursery and we were always happy with every aspect of his care so it was our natural choice when looking for a nursery for our daughter.
Our daughter didn't like to leave my side but the staff made her feel so welcome by using activities and resources they knew she enjoyed
to coax her in. She now enjoys going to nursery and I'm confident she will be ready for school in September. She enjoys the weekly dance lessons and has been on several trips during her time here. I have recommended the nursery to several family members and friends who have all been as happy as I am.

My 3yr old granddaughter has been attending here for just over a year. She always tells me excitedly what has happened at nursery on days she attends, she tells me what she has had for lunch and loves the days she goes swimming with the group. Since being there she has turned into a very independent
child and has a great vocabulary. I occasionally drop her off there or pick her up and always see her happy on drop off or pick up. Staff have always been polite on my visits and the premises have been very clean on all occasions. It seems a lovely environment and I am confident that any child who attends would be happy and well cared for while there.

Always felt really comfortable leaving my little girl here. She has been here the past two and a half years and will be leaving this summer to go to school. I left her from six months old and it has brought her on so much and she has a really good relationship with the staff she will be sad to leave
all staff and her little friends.

This nursery is amazing with my daughter with additional needs. They go above and beyond. Nothing seems to put them down, all the staff are so caring and friendly and I love seeing my daughter go to a place she feels safe and enjoys being there.

This nursery is truly amazing all round. Every single person involved in the nursery looks out for the children's best interests. Staff are very knowledgeable about each child's needs and preferences and are kept up to date with changes from management on a regular basis. From the first day of my child
attending this nursery, I knew I had made the right decision. Children are always engaged in activities and have lots of choice on offer. My child has progressed throughout the rooms in the setting and has moved rooms when ready for her. The nursery are very good at supporting children with SEND. They regularly assess the children's progress through various strategies including IEP's. We feel that the nursery go above and beyond to support our child with any struggles she may face. They are also very informative when handing over to parents/carers at the end of the day.

This nursery has a warm welcome. The staff are lovely and make you feel welcome.
When settling my little girl into the nursery, the staff were very patient and loving. I was very nervous of leaving my little girl with total strangers but they made me feel at ease and even gave me a cup of tea while
I waited. My little girl settled fine and is still there a year later. She loved going to nursery and tells me lots of good things. The staff are really good and always feed me information when I collect her. I can't ask for a better nursery for my little girl. They offer so much, like trips to zoos and swimming once a week. Well done to the staff here.

My son transitioned here from another nursery (not a Brighter Beginnings) when his nursery suddenly shut down! The staff was very compassionate towards this delicate situation, very understanding and approachable.

Our daughter transitioned here from another Brighter Beginnings nursery. They made sure her settling in process was smooth and child centred.
She has been at Brighter Beginnings since she was 9 months old and still loves it 3 years on.
The bond she creates with her key workers is amazing. She loves
them all deeply and that makes us having to leave her there a smooth process.
The nursery offer a clean lovely nurturing environment. They supported us through getting her to sleep in the day without me being there (breastfeeding), supported us with our baby led weaning, potty training and now with her preparation for big school next year.
The online learning log and parents evenings allow us to get an idea of her development in their setting.
The food is lovely and caters well for our vegetarian diet. She gets plenty of sessions of physical activity, IT sessions, singing, art and craft and independent learning. I would recommend Brighter Begininings to all.

I would highly recommend this nursery to all my friends. It is nice and tidy, there are lots of activities for my baby. She is very happy, and from the front door of the nursery, she runs to her group. The staff is very friendly and is responsible.

The staff at this nursery are very helpful and make me feel comfortable leaving my son with them on a daily basis. My child has been at this nursery since 9 months old. I cannot recommend it anymore. Not only had my child come on leaps and bounds but my child has learnt the utmost respect and politeness and I believe this is down to the nursery. The manager of the nursery has always gone above and beyond not only
to meet my child's needs but my family's. I have never had any worries since my child is in their care, from the key worker in the baby room, to the key worker in the preschool room. I have no bad words to say about the nursery and all the staff. I would recommend this nursery to anybody I know as I believe they could not do better for the children they care for.

Hello, my name is Louise and I have worked within the early years sector for over ten years and joined the Brighter Beginnings team in 2023. Over my decade of experience, I have worked my way up from an apprentice to becoming a nursery manager. I have gained an array of knowledge during my time as an early-year practitioner, beginning with a level 2 apprenticeship and more recently graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University completing a degree in Early Years and Childhood studies.


My passion for early years has been something that has driven me to ensure all children and families have a sense of belonging during their time in our setting and feel that they are listened to and understood. As a parent myself, I aim to give support to all families and hope to build strong partnerships with parents and carers. At Brighter Beginnings Newton Heath we love to arrange lots of different special events across the year which we open up to the whole community, some of our most recent events have been a Halloween event in our outdoor provision ‘Brighter Blossoms’, summer and Christmas fairs and stay and play sessions.


It’s a wonderful way to reach out to families and the wider community.

Hello, my name is Imogen, I joined Brighter Beginnings in 2021.


I began my career as an apprentice achieving a Distinction grade in my level 3 qualification.
Since then, I have been given the opportunity to be Newton Heath’s 16–24-month (Little Explorer’s) room leader.


As a room leader, I take pride in all of my work and I am determined to do whatever I put my mind to. I feel confident when leading my team and ensuring children’s and family’s needs are always met to a high standard. I ensure a high-quality provision is provided to the children in our care, and ensure the playroom is fun, inviting and welcoming to all!


I am always looking for new ways and activities to engage the children. I enjoy working together as a whole nursery to create a happy, engaging space for children to grow, develop and establish a positive sense of self.

Hello, my name is Paige and I am a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner. I completed my qualification as an early years practitioner in college 12 years ago. I have worked at Brighter Beginnings for over 6 years, progressing to becoming a room leader in 2022.
