My son quickly settled into this nursery after he joined from a different setting. The staff listened to any concerns I had about settling him and responded to them promptly. They are always available to answer further questions and always with a smile. I was impressed that they catered for specific
dietary requirements and provided halal food for my son. The menu looks very enticing and nutritious. It would be good if they could continue to give detailed feedback of activities kids have engaged in each day and how they have responded to these activities.

This nursery is a second home to both of my children. The staff here is well trained and experienced. The best thing is that they are ready to learn and respond to your child's individual needs. I was highly impressed by the baby rooms staff and the deputy manager responsiveness to my sons learning/settling
in journey.
The staff team and group of children also reflect local ethnic and cultural groups+
Fun activities planned each day - which are updated on the apps so we can replicate and discuss with our toddlers at home. Keep up the good work and to the manager, you are doing a wonderful job!! Thank you.

This is a great nursery with brilliant staff. Our elder son also went here and loved it. Even though they’ve face challenges during the pandemic, they have done everything to ensure the best environment is being provided for the children. The outdoor area is really good too and it’s a good mix of education
and play. The staff are all really caring and I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

I was so anxious about leaving my little boy after us not leaving each other at all during Covid but he settled in so well and I feel at ease dropping him off. The staff are so nice and understanding! I wouldn’t want him anywhere else!

My daughter is a lockdown baby and we had a quite emotional and stressful settling in process.

My son has been attending since April 2021, he has grown in confidence and character since starting nursery. He has a great relationship with his key person and other familiar key staff. He is excited to play and eager to learn. The practitioners follow his interests and support his learning through

My son’s been going to Bright Horizons since he was three months old and I’ve never once had cause to worry about leaving him there. The staff are all fab, and clearly love what they do.
Watching so many happy kids going in and out at pick up/drop off time just emphasises what a great time they’re
having there.
It’s great to know I’m leaving my son somewhere so safe and nurturing. And the app means there are regular updates and photos so I can see how much fun he’s having.

My son started in the baby room a few months ago. I was really nervous about being away from him especially after such an intense year with covid. However, I needn’t have been. The staff have been fantastic, really thoughtful and sensitive to him. He’s settled really well and is so happy at nursery.
He gets excited when he sees the nursery building and smiles at the staff when I hand him over. Fortunately, he’s also still happy to see me at the end of that day! We are so pleased to have found such a lovely nursery.

Our boys are so happy at this nursery. The staff go above and beyond for the children and parents, and this has been heightened throughout the pandemic. Bright Horizons is the only nursery I would consider for my children, and the Trafford setting is a wonderful space for them to flourish.

My daughter joined Bright Horizons Trafford as lockdown was lifted in June 2020. It was a new setting for her but she settled very quickly - the staff were and are amazing and she is very, very happy there. She has come on so well and loves going to nursery to be with her friends, the nursery toys and
to play outside.
The caring is exceptional and the children's development is carefully tracked. The staff are very highly-qualified and have been assiduous with communications during the social distancing period.
We are so grateful to the wonderful team and their extraordinary hard work. They are very committed and do an exceptional job. We can't recommend them highly enough.

My son is very happy at Bright Horizons which was a massive relief as he struggled to settle in his previous Nursery with a high turnover of staff and was very unhappy. The difference between the nurseries is dramatic and from the start, we got the confidence that his needs would be addressed and there
was a plan based on him. With the key element that Bright Horizons seemed to care and deal with my son as an individual and not just as another child.
The support has been great with regards to keeping a detailed report of what my son is doing and milestones for what we aiming to do next. There is constant communication so everyone is working towards the same goal. I think as an overall point we are so happy we have found a place that cares which is the most important thing for us. We can't speak highly enough about the staff at Bright Horizons and only wish we would have come across it earlier.

Excellent nursery and my son thoroughly enjoys coming to nursery. Amazing staff members who are always welcoming. I get update of how my son is doing and that is just wonderful for a parent. Friendly and helpful staff. Any issues that we've had have been dealt with in a professional manner. Nice environment for both of our children to develop. Would recommend. Only negatives are not opening until 8am, free childcare requires significant top up payment (but I think this is the case everywhere),
and having to pay even when taking child out for several weeks.


The staff have been amazing during the covid period.

Laura holds a Level 6 qualification in Childhood Studies and a master’s degree in Psychology, reflecting her deep passion for education and child development. With over 24 years of experience in childcare, she has not only gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise but has also developed a warm and nurturing approach to supporting children and their families.


Recently, Laura joined Trafford Nursery, where she is excited to share her extensive experience and bring fresh ideas to the team. She is committed to creating a loving and supportive environment where children can thrive and parents feel confident and reassured. Laura believes in fostering strong relationships with families and understands the importance of working in partnership to ensure every child reaches their full potential.


Outside of work, Laura cherishes quality time with her husband and family, who are her greatest source of joy. She also finds inspiration in reading, which helps her continue learning and growing, both personally and professionally.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2012

Karima began her journey at Bright Horizons as a maternity cover and later transitioned to support the preschool room as a Room Leader. She then progressed to the role of Third in Charge and is now the Deputy Manager.


Over the past 11 years with the Bright Horizons family, Karima has been fortunate to receive support in completing her Childhood Studies qualification, further enriching her skills and knowledge.


Karima has developed a strong passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), which inspired her to pursue additional SEN training and take on the role of Nursery SENCo. She is deeply committed to her role, enjoying the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with families and provide the children with the tailored support they need to thrive.

Chloe

Chloe

Job Title: Third in Charge

Chloe has been working in early years since leaving high school and has been part of the Bright Horizons family for a total of five years. She began her journey as an apprentice, progressing to Room Leader and is now proud to be the Third in Charge at Trafford.


She is a Level 4 qualified practitioner and also holds additional qualifications in supporting children with SEND and safeguarding. During her role as Baby Room Leader, she has had the opportunity to extend her knowledge through various training courses. She is Trafford's ‘Communication Champion’ and ‘Nurture Approach Champion.’ She is passionate about providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive.


Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also has a passion for cooking and baking and enjoys trying out new recipes to share with her loved ones.
