Kids adVentures Prestwich is a childcare nursery and Forest School. Located at 2 different sites (just 10 minutes apart) the traditional nursery and separate forest school give a rounded learning experience before going to school which fosters imagination, confidence and learning.

Outdoor education is a big part of Kids adVentures, both within a large garden and in a dedicated Forest School.

Toddlers and babies are based at the traditional nursery setting on Chandos road until they turn 3. They then progress up to the separate forest school site to gain a full outdoor learning experience before going to primary school. Here the children learn the full early years curriculum but in an outdoor environment.

Every day at Kids adVentures is different and full of fun. The setting specialises in providing a week full of different activities from baking through to craft, wildlife, education and learning about the outside world.

It is a small, family orientated nursery, working in small groups to help each child to grow and learn as an individual. The nursery is bright and friendly with each room designed to encourage child development in a safe and comfortable environment.

The Kids adVentures team are all passionate and professional childcare practitioners. The Forest School leaders are enthusiastic about utilising the outdoors to foster confidence, teamwork and education.

Each child is cared for by a key worker who focuses on the child's specific development plan and provides parental feedback on a daily basis.

My little boy has been attending Kids adVentures for almost a month. The staff are incredibly caring and have got to know him really well during this short time. There are lots of opportunities for learning outside which he thoroughly enjoys. We are really glad we chose Kids adVentures.

Our boy attended Kids adVentures from 10 months until 3 years old. We have always found the staff to be very caring and nurturing and they have often gone above and beyond. The management have also generally been very flexible and always tried to accommodate changes.
We have another baby on the way
and will be keen to bring them to Kids adVentures when the time comes!

When we took our son to Kids adVentures we knew it was a slightly different approach with the Forest school activity but as he loves the outdoors we thought this would be a great experience for him.


We have now been using the nursery for 6 months and I can honestly say we struggle to drag him away

at the end of each day at nursery. The variety of activity that he gets involved in is brilliant, in fact, I wish I could do some of the outdoor stuff myself - den making etc.


He's come on such a lot in these few months he seems to be learning so much within this environment and his confidence is increasing.

My grandson goes to Kids adVentures and loves it. He particularly enjoys all the outdoor trips especially to the Forest School, he is excited to get there in the morning and comes home with stories about building dens and making mud slides. He comes home muddy, tired and happy, it's fantastic to see
how his confidence has grown since attending these sessions.
I like how he is getting all these extra opportunities and I can really see that it is benefiting him.
The staff team are caring and the nursery has a small and friendly feel - thank you!

My granddaughter loves going to nursery here, all the staff are really friendly and care about our experience as a family.
She gets lots of outdoor play everyday and they do lots of trips out too. She is learning all the time and comes home full of stories about what she has done that day.
The quality
of care is excellent all the staff are really passionate about what they do.
She was really shy at first but going to nursery has helped her to increase her confidence and make friends,
I'm really pleased that we chose this nursery and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

A wonderful nursery, being a first-time mum the staff took the time to go through all the information I needed to know. They took the time to settle my baby in and made sure that I was confident in leaving her.
The rooms are full of lots of lovely exciting toys and the activities they do such as painting
and gloop are really good. My daughter made her first hand print painting which takes pride of place on my fridge now.
The learning book system they use is really good as it allows me as a parent to see what she has been doing and learning whilst in the comfort of my own home and I can share this with her grandparents who live down South. It also allows me to put up pictures and videos that share my daughter's learning experiences at home with her key person.
A big thank you to all the staff at the nursery.

The care is really personal, the staff know my child and my family - there is a real family feel here. My little boy gets lots of outside play time and to go on trips.


The nursery does several family events throughout the year too which means we feel involved.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have worked at Kids Adventures Prestwich since October 2021. I really enjoy working here and offering a unique, homely environment for our children. I have worked in early years settings for over 13 years, I am level 3 qualified and have previously worked in a range of large nursery settings. My favourite aspects of Kids Adventures are our small, intimate base rooms, where children create secure relationships with the staff and children and thrive off the consistency of care they receive and also, our forest school ethos where children learn outdoors and become confident and resilient individuals before their eventual move to school.
