The Cottage Nursery is a bright, vibrant and exciting setting with highly qualified, professional and dedicated staff. Carers are passionate about high quality childcare and outstanding early education which is delivered daily in a creative and stimulating way across all ages. All rooms are exceptionally well resourced to enable all seven areas of the EYFS to be delivered, and they have all recently been refurbished to make a modern, calm and welcoming environment. The team offer extra-curricular activities in all groups to enrich the children's experience such as Baby Sign, Music & Drama Club and French Club. There are also Gym and Dance Clubs which are led by fantastic external professionals. The nursery directly feeds into an 'Outstanding' ISI rated Preparatory School and the older children benefit from this through exciting trips, sports days and productions. Every child and their family are highly valued and made to feel welcome from their very first visit.

Brilliant nursery, lovely staff and setting and really great work done at every level/classroom to help with development and learning. My daughter has been there since 9 months old and they were great at helping to get her settled and also giving me reassurance that she was enjoying her time there,
she’s now 3 and loves her days in nursery and can’t wait to go in. Amazing extra activities such as French and great trips out in the older classroom. Communication and updates are really clear and any queries I’ve ever had have always been dealt with quickly.

Our son started at The Cottage around a year ago after our daughter previously attended. It was the easiest decision we had to make to send our son there. The staff are all wonderful and the facilities are brilliant. The focus on education (which is incredible) was the original reason we picked the
nursery for our daughter but the nursery is so much more than that. The relationships that our son has formed with the staff are lovely to see and have lasted as he has moved through the rooms. We get updates on the app about what he has been getting up to and he's always happy to go in and find his favourite toy in the morning. I cannot thank the staff or recommend this nursery enough - it is absolutely fantastic.

The staff are professional, friendly and accommodating. Our daughter loves going into nursery and is looked after and each staff member is very caring. Each room has been the same since she started. We are very happy with our choice.

We have been absolutely delighted with The Cottage Nursery. I love seeing and hearing the updates of what activities my little boy gets up to each day, and the staff who work there show so much care, attention and love to all the children. I feel that they’re really invested in my little boy’s development
and helping him to have a great experience. I also think that they bring in a great range of external providers to help support their development, including music and sign language.

The Cottage Nursery is an excellent establishment. The staff patiently took care and brought out the best in my little girl who started at 9 months, having only ever been cared for by her mum and dad. She cried a lot and wouldn’t eat when she started, but with the excellent care and love the staff gave
her, she’s a healthy, happy, giggly, cheeky little girl at day care now. A lovely team and wonderful place with lots of fun and activities foe the kids.

My daughter started at The Cottage in August 2023. The communication, facilities, organisation, and cleanliness is brilliant. My daughter is learning so much and more importantly she's enjoying it too. The staff have all been so friendly and helpful.

We tried our little boy with a childminder and a nursery and he didn’t settle. We have now tried The Cottage Nursery and he is improving every week. I felt confident in the staff from the very first visit and knew it was the right choice. The staff are so friendly and genuine and you can tell that they
really do love the children and want to form bonds with them. I feel content leaving my little boy with them which for me is the most important thing. I would highly recommend the nursery!

My daughter started the nursery a few weeks ago, we were very nervous having not had anyone else look after her for longer than a few hours previously. The staff were very welcoming and were great in terms of putting our minds at ease and helping our daughter settle in. They do lots of different activities
during the day and keep us up to date with photos and updates at the end of their day. Our daughter's key worker (who leads the baby room) has been brilliant in ensuring our daughter settles in and has quickly developed a strong bond with her, which has enabled her to be more comfortable and confident at nursery.

I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at The Cottage - both my boys have attended (one currently attends as the oldest is now at school). They are very knowledgeable, put the needs of the children at the heart of all they do, follow their interests and plan exciting learning activities. They
are keen to be inclusive and plan lots of engaging activities for celebrations or festivals around the world.
Our boys have gained so much confidence and social skills and become more secure in themselves to help with independence. The Cottage offer a wide range of extracurricular activities that enrich the EYFS framework. Our youngest enjoys every single day and there is clear and consistent communication with knowing what he’s eaten, learning that day and a particular focus for the week.
We’ve recommended The Cottage Nursery to so many of our friends!

The Cottage Nursery is a fantastic nursery. Both my children have gone here, one still being there and they have made our nursery journey amazing! As a mother sending a child to nursery can be really daunting but they have put me at ease with how well my children have been looked after. All the staff
are very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. My children adore all the staff who work here and enjoy every minute whilst they are here.

We have had one child attend this nursery and currently have our youngest son in the Prep 1 class. We wouldn’t have sent him anywhere else. The staff are fantastic in all the rooms and the care for my sons has been outstanding. My youngest now knows all his initial sounds and can recognise all the letters
of the alphabet. He can count confidently objects to 10 and knows his numbers up to 20. Our son is, most importantly, happy. He enjoys telling us about his day and has built such positive and nurturing relationships with the staff. When we collect our son, the room is always calm and the children are engaged in play. It’s lovely to see. Going home at night there isn’t a window where our son doesn’t receive a wave goodbye from all his previous rooms.

As first-time parents, we were naturally very nervous about finding the right childcare provider for our child. We visited six different childcare providers in the local area but as soon as we visited The Cottage we knew that this was the provider that we wanted to send our child to. The nursery is
extremely well-run. There has always been clear communication between the board, the senior management team and parents. No issue (no matter how small) is ever a problem. There have been times when the nursery has put in place additional arrangements to support our child. They place an emphasis on education and well-being, two things which we value greatly. Our child enjoys going to nursery and playing with their friends but has also grown fond of all of the staff. This is something that you can't put a price on. I would strongly recommend The Cottage Nursery as a safe and stimulating childcare setting.

My little boy started The Cottage Nursery in January and is absolutely loving it. His development and learning have come on so much since he started there and he is enjoying it so much, he waves us off now when we drop him off.
The staff are very friendly and engaging, it’s nice to receive a round-up
of our little boy's day when we pick him up and we enjoy hearing how he’s got on within that day.
I really enjoy receiving the updates on the app of his day, it’s so lovely to see all the activities he has been up to, all adding to his development.
The room our little boy is in recently got redecorated and has had a nice refresh. I like how the nursery is reinvesting and keeping standards up, this is a big tick box for me.
I highly recommend the nursery, my niece also came here and for us, it was so great to get a place for our little boy.

I absolutely love this nursery and so do my kiddos, my 3-year-old loves going to nursery and playing with his friends, he always comes home and tells us the new sounds he has been learning and counting. My 1-year-old also goes and she also loves it, she always looks so happy in the pictures and she’s
full of energy so they keep her well entertained!
The staff are absolutely lovely and I have no doubts about the care they give to my kids.
I’m so glad I chose this nursery for them because they are given the opportunity to thrive in everything.

My granddaughter has attended nursery for a few years now. She is so happy there and loves attending. She has truly blossomed during her time at nursery and made lots of friends. Everything from her social skills to her vocabulary has come on faster than I ever imagined. The staff are so welcoming to
both parents/family and children. The staff are first class - extremely knowledgeable and place the well-being of the children at the core of everything they do.

I cannot praise this nursery highly enough! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, my baby boy only started a couple of months ago and he seems to have settled in so well. He does painting, storytime, music classes, messy play and so many more fun activities! The staff always take the time to tell
me in detail what my little boy has been up to. He is usually quite clingy but will happily go straight to any of the girls when we drop him off - which says a lot. The management is also excellent, I cannot fault this nursery. It is outstanding in all areas!
