The Cottage Nursery is a bright, vibrant and exciting setting with highly qualified, professional and dedicated staff. Carers are passionate about high quality childcare and outstanding early education which is delivered daily in a creative and stimulating way across all ages. All rooms are exceptionally well resourced to enable all seven areas of the EYFS to be delivered, and they have all recently been refurbished to make a modern, calm and welcoming environment. The team offer extra-curricular activities in all groups to enrich the children's experience such as Baby Sign, Music & Drama Club and French Club. There are also Gym and Dance Clubs which are led by fantastic external professionals. The nursery directly feeds into an 'Outstanding' ISI rated Preparatory School and the older children benefit from this through exciting trips, sports days and productions. Every child and their family are highly valued and made to feel welcome from their very first visit.

Our little boy has settled in very well from day one at The Cottage and this is down to the caring staff. From the contact prior to him starting and the continuation of daily updates, we are very happy with our choice of nursery.

My child has been going for over a year. Couldn’t be happier. The staff are fantastic and the management is superb. My child loves going and is definitely learning so much. The communication is perfect and I’ve never had any concerns about her education or health and safety. I think it’s clear the management
team want the nursery to continually improve.

Our daughter has attended the Cottage nursery since she was 12 months old and has loved it from day one. She settled in really quickly and has continued to develop in all aspects of her life. The nursery offers a wide range of activities; gym, dance, language sessions as well as arts and crafts. The
outdoor space is excellent and the rabbits are a great hit. Thank you to all the staff.

Always picking up a happy girl. I'm fully aware of her progress every day. Amazing staff with so much heart and a caring mindset. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individual way.

I love this nursery. As a lockdown baby, I was worried about how my daughter would adapt to nursery but she loves it (doesn't actually want to leave at the end of the day she has that much fun). My daughter is a cloth nappy baby and potty trained from 6 months old and they've supported us and continue
to do this with her. The communication is amazing and they are very informative and always put the children first. Really impressed with all the activities they do with my daughter. I can't fault them!

My niece has attended this nursery for a while now and I have to say, she absolutely loves it and has a great relationship with the staff. She smiles going in of a morning and is such a happy child when she gets picked up. You all do a wonderful job.

Absolutely amazing nursery! Nothing makes me happier and more reassured than to see my little daughter going to the nursery with a big smile and waving goodbye to me. The level of care and attention from all the staff is fantastic. High level of communication, I feel involved in the nursery life of

One of the best nurseries. The staff are absolutely wonderful. I have two other children which have been to different nurseries but none have compared to this one. They have lots for the children to do and my son absolutely loves it. He has come on so much, since being there.

Great nursery, we were recommended to this nursery by a friend, based on their experience and what we've seen personally. Needless to say, we were extremely satisfied with the staff and how happy our son has been at this nursery, so far. We are happy with the growth and development of our child and

The nursery staff are wonderful and caring and cannot do enough for our daughter. The added items such as French, music and the rabbits are appreciated to give her a well rounded start and to help teach her life skills and we know we would not get this at other nurseries. The odd after-hours film nights
are a great resource for us to get some peace and we know our daughter also enjoys them too.

My little daughter started the nursery in July 2021. She was 9 months and I was extremely anxious about this new step of our life. The Cottage nursery helped me to manage my anxiety and they were there for me and my little one, every time I had a doubt or I was seeking advice on how to manage some of
the transition time. My daughter fitted in the room quickly and comfortably, she absolutely loves to go to the nursery and the staff are caring and have a very nurturing approach. I love how they support her with their autonomy and how they care for her emotional wellbeing. The education offered is fantastic. I'm happy about my choice and I believe I couldn't find another nursery in which my daughter would be as happy to be a part of.

My son always looks excited and happy whenever I come to pick him up from the nursery. The staff are warm and always give a detailed description of what he has been up to for the day. I must also commend the staff on how they were able to manage the nursery earlier this year (2022) when the COVID cases
were increasing. The nursery manager kept us all in the loop on best practices and strategies they were taking to ensure the nursery runs safely and in accordance to PHE guidance. My son now babbles a lot and he is so happy to have started walking. I would recommend The Cottage Nursery.

My daughter attends the nursery and I can honestly say she has come on hugely since attending. She is always happy when collected, showing me how much she is enjoying her time there. The staff are always going out of their way to make you feel included in your child's day. Hats off to the staff and

Our daughter has attended The Cottage Nursery since she was 6 months old. She absolutely loves it and is absolutely thriving now at 18 months old. I love seeing all the activities on the parents' app and getting reports of what she’s been eating and up to! Highly recommended nursery with such wonderful
staff. The nursery director goes over and above to ensure all the children and staff are all well looked after.

I can't speak highly enough of the Cottage nursery. The staff are brilliant! The children are always their main priority and it's clear to see. From the way our daughter is greeted in the morning, to the report we get every evening. The last 18 months have been tough for everyone but the Cottage had
an obvious consideration for what parents were experiencing and did everything to protect the children and keep the nursery open at the same time. I can't imagine that every nursery is the same and we value what they do so much.

My daughter has been at The Cottage Nursery full time for 16 months and we have been extremely impressed with the care she receives from all of the staff. From when she started in the baby room, everyone has been so warm and friendly welcoming my daughter and us. She genuinely seems to thrive here and
has grown into a happy and confident 2-year-old. There are a number of classes that are taught and activities and photos are regularly shared. Communication is excellent from the management to every individual in each of the rooms. Throughout the pandemic, the staff have gone above and beyond and we are extremely grateful for this. We had previously used a well-respected local nursery for my son but have found The Cottage to be fantastic and overall are much happier with this choice. We also find that the nursery is really good value, it has flexibility to have term time places so my daughter can be off with her older brother for all school holidays. Highly recommended.
