Holyrood Nursery Dryden Street is a purpose-built facility that opened in 2002, situated close to the Manchester University campus in an ideal location for local parents.

Welcoming children between the ages of 3 months and five years, the facility practices age-specific learning, with separate rooms suiting the objectives of a talented team, as well as a secure outdoor play area.

Children are able to develop in a caring and homely ambience, with all families welcomed and treated as unique.

My daughter has been at Dryden Street since she was nine months and we have had such a wonderful experience. Her key workers in each of her rooms have been outstanding and she has still continued to have had a great relationship with each of them, even when she has moved into a new room. It's pretty
remarkable to see how much they pack into every day and she has been so well prepared for school during her time in EY3. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Dryden Street nursery.

Dryden Street Day Nursery have cared for both of my children (one who still attends, one has since graduated to school). The manager and the team have provided fantastic care over the years and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery. It may not have all the bells and whistles
of some others, but the staff are incredibly caring and nurturing, the facilities provide everything the children need. The team are friendly, obviously all love children and share and take on board feedback from parents and the children themselves.

Both our boys are in this lovely nursery. The staff have a great relationship with the children and I’ve watched our boys develop with the encouragement and support that they receive at Dryden Street. We love that they are outside every day at least twice a day, it’s where children should be! We moved
our eldest to this nursery because of the lack of outdoors-time at his former nursery. We were very pleased that Dryden Street received an ‘Outstanding’ at Ofsted as we believe the staff truly deserve that result for the work they put in.

A very good/excellent standard nursery, encouraging play, learning and multiple activities. Our daughter comes home very happy and sometimes does not want to leave! The staff are generally attentive and the standard of care ranges from (minimum) good to excellent. We are extremely happy with our key
carer as she has the emotional intelligence to understand parents' and children's needs and provide us with the extra reassurance a parent needs; we get daily reports on how our daughter's day has been but also they would bring to our attention any other developments or issues to deal with. Any minor issues raised to staff have been dealt with effectively. It is a safe environment and we have generally been very pleased with the whole process since the start (July 2018) to present day (April 2019). We would not hesitate to recommend Dryden Street Nursery.

This nursery has been so gentle and kind with both my daughter and me (!) since she started there a month or so ago. I was so nervous about coming back to work and leaving her in the care of strangers, but they've all been so kind - taken the time to get to know her and us; what she likes and enjoys
and she's settled very well. They communicated with us beautifully during her settles, and I love the little reports at the end of each day, and the fact I know I can call whenever I like to see how she's doing.
The staff guided me with the info I need, understood my anxieties and concerns - and even gave me a couple of hugs when I was in tears at the emotion of it all. We've now settled into a new rhythm, and I'm so glad we're at this nursery.

My son started at Dryden St in September 2018 when he was around ten months old and attends two full days a week. I couldn't be happier with his nursery. The settling in process was excellent and my son was immediately made to feel comfortable and part of the nursery. Staff are all friendly and calm
and always remember to tell me funny little things he has done during the day which means a lot. There is plenty of outside space and time to play which was important to us and food provided is nutritious and filling. I'm so pleased with it and it made returning to work that little bit easier knowing he was so well cared for.

Fantastic environment for the children. My daughter has been attending since she was nine months old and she is over three years already. She has been in all rooms (baby, toddler, early years two and three years) and is been happy in all of them. The activities and education are fabulous. All staff

My son has been so happy at Dryden Nursery since he started at the age of 9 months. The staff are fantastic, they make a wonderful environment and I can see he learns so much when he is there. He really does love this place. The environment is safe, clean and engaging. The food is great and the nursery
was very accommodating if I wanted to change or alter anything. As a very nervous new mum leaving my child when returning to work they also made me feel much more relaxed and happy about the whole thing. Really can't recommend enough.
