Astley Nature Kindergarten is situated in the heart of Astley in a stunning villa with plenty of its original features and character.

A well established, welcoming environment providing day care, before/after school care and a holiday club for children aged five to 11 years. Staff support all children to learn, develop and grow as confident individuals and support children with additional needs and children with English as a second language. A fully inclusive staff team work together to build relationships with parents ensuring smooth transitions from home to nursery. Staff team do this through their daily practices: drop in days, parents' evenings and play and stay sessions where parents can have an active role in nursery life.

There are seven playrooms within the nursery that provide safe, stimulating and engaging activities such as sensory, educational, messy and physical play. Now offering 'Forest School' Saturday Sessions.

Awarded the Health Setting Award along with the Healthy Business Award where menus were analysed by a nutritionist and proven to promote health and well-being.

Offer sibling discount, Emergency Service staff discount, variable/part-time/full-time sessions and FREE funded places.

An all-inclusive nursery meaning that all meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and formula are included in fees as well as quality early year’s care and education and a celebration of festivals throughout the year.

My nephew has been at the nursery for 6 months, he has settled so well thanks to the care & professionalism of the staff. The outdoor area is fabulous & the rooms feel welcoming, he has come on leaps & bounds since starting.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to friends and family.

My Granddaughter has been attending Holyrood for the past 2 years, she has absolutely loved her time there and will be sad to leave when she goes to big school. The nursery facilities are fantastic and the garden offers my Granddaughter a huge place to have fun with her friends. Staff and Management
are wonderful and very accommodating and I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

My daughter had her nursery graduation with a little sing song and presentation of an award. It was a lovely set up and the children did really well and listened and rehearsed so well for the day. Staff put together a lovely event with a compilation of nursery slides with past and present memories of
play and learning and friendships formed. Lovely words spoken for each child as they proudly collected their certificates in the cap and gowns, a lovely memorable day for both children and parents. It also has to be said that the garden areas are spectacular.

My girls love this nursery, especially the outdoor spaces so lots of room to play! The visit to Windmill Farm with the pre school was fab and the graduation ceremony for the children moving on was great. Lots of time and effort put in by the staff to orchestrate these events. Well done!

Really friendly and happy environment for children lots to do and learn from caring and supportive staff. Would definitely recommend this nursery. Large outdoor area for children to play in even when it's raining.

Welcoming and smart staff. Nursery has been recently refurbished providing lots of outdoor space for the children and lots of modern interesting toys in the rooms. Staff in the rooms are friendly and helpful and are keen on updating you on your child's progress.

Lovely, friendly nursery in a great location. Staff went above and beyond to settle my little boy into the nursery routine and now he happily waves me off every morning. Great facilities indoors with decor that seeks to bring a touch of the outdoors inside. Huge outdoor space for playing, learning and
exploring. Overall, happy baby, happy mummy!

We have been really pleased with the care received and our son's development. The only thing that we miss is the book which used to be filled in once a week with pictures and a summary of what they had done that week. Depending on which staff member is there when we collect him depends if we find out
what he has been up to.

The staff are always lovely and friendly, they can't do enough to help. The outdoor space is fantastic. My little boy loves going here. There is always lots going on and plenty of baking and art work brought home.

I am really impressed how my daughter has come on since going to Holyrood, she was very shy before starting nursery ... she is a confident little girl now and she loves it!!


The staff are all lovely and really helpful I would very highly recommend it.

On the odd occasion that I have had a problem, it has always been dealt with professionally. Staff are all lovely and have a good relationship with the children. All 3 of my children have attended over the years, very happy.
