I couldn't ask for better staff at the nursery, they are really helpful and kind. My son loves the staff and always tells me he's had a good day. This nursery has helped bring my son on with his intelligence. Every day he learns something new and I know the nursery plays a big part of helping him grow
up to be a lovely boy.
Any problems would be dealt with straight away but they are not often! I feel happy to have my son go to this nursery as I know he's well looked after.

My daughter has attended three nurseries and Brighter Beginnings is by far and away the most valuable.
The care and attention of staff cannot be surpassed and they have been exceptional in their care and attention during very challenging times.
Further, my daughter has made massive leaps academically
since her time in the setting and enjoys telling me about the new things she has learnt.
There is good indoor and outdoor space and I have never had any concerns about her health, safety or wellbeing. Genuinely an invaluable care provider and I would highly recommend it to any parent.

My name is Jennifer, and I have worked at Brighter Beginnings for 13 years. I started as an apprentice at Brighter Beginnings New Moston when I left school, I then went on to complete my level 3 at Brighter Beginnings Charlestown where I worked my way up to Deputy Manager. I then went on to Newton Heath Brighter Beginnings as a Manager for 3 years where we achieved an outstanding grade from Ofsted. Since then, I have returned to Brighter Beginning New Moston to cover maternity leave and I am supporting at other buildings, ensuring high-quality childcare. I have gained lots of knowledge and experience along the way which has helped me to understand child development and give children the most amazing experiences in their first years of life. I have a daughter of my own who is currently in year 1 and we love taking our dog Honey on lots of walks and having lots of family time.

My name is Lucy, and I have proudly worked for Brighter Beginnings for the past two years. As an Assistant Manager. I am deeply committed to ensuring that every child receives the best possible care and learning experience. Since leaving school, my passion for early years education has driven me to continually develop my knowledge and skills. Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable experience that has allowed me to confidently fulfil my role, supporting both the children and my dedicated team.


I am based in the 2–3-year room, where I also take on the role of room leader. In this position, I work closely with my team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, ensuring that every child’s developmental needs are met. I am responsible for delegating tasks and guiding my staff to provide the highest quality of care. This role allows me to see first-hand the joy and progress that each child makes, which is incredibly rewarding.


Outside of work, I am a proud mother of two wonderful children, aged 8 and 4. We love spending quality time together, whether it’s enjoying days out, catching the latest movie at the cinema, or embarking on exciting family holidays. Family time is so important to me, and I cherish the adventures we share together.

My name is Ellie, and I have had the pleasure of working with Brighter Beginnings for three years. Currently, I am the room leader of the 0–2-year-old room, where I am passionate about providing a warm and caring environment for the youngest members of our nursery family. Before joining New Moston, I spent time working at our Burnage branch. This experience was instrumental in helping me grow professionally, as I gained a wealth of knowledge and insights that have been invaluable in shaping my current role as a room leader.


The opportunity to work in different nurseries has been an enriching experience. It has given me a broader perspective on early childhood education, allowing me to bring new ideas and improvements to my practice here at New Moston. My goal is to always create a positive and engaging environment that supports both my team and the children.


When I’m not at work, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and spending time with my family. I also love going on holidays with friends and creating lasting memories on our trips together. I have a wonderful dog named Bobby, and one of my favourite things to do is take him on long walks, exploring the outdoors together.
