Holyrood Nursery Swinton is proud to be graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted in May 2018.

Holyrood nursery provides care for children from birth to five years of age throughout six large playrooms that are age-appropriate.

Each room provides quality resources in a stimulating environment. The nursery also has two rooms in which carers provide wrap-around care for a local school and a holiday club for children aged four to 11-years-old.

Holyrood also has a large outdoor space that has a sand and mud pit alongside a water pump that the children love to play with on a daily basis.

The nursery chef has been working with Holyrood since December 2005. Alongside making yummy food, she also enjoys covering in the rooms and her 'Cooking with Cath' sessions.

Children are central to all that staff do here so to make sure of this the nursery has a children’s committee, this allows the children to participate in decisions that will affect them at nursery.

The entire key person planning is based on the unique child principle taken from the EYFS document and this allows professionals to cater for and develop the child’s individual needs.

Holyrood provide a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including variable sessions, extra sessions and full-time discount.

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough! They the staff and manager are absolutely amazing with all the children and go above and beyond for them. They brought both my children on in leaps and bounds! Wouldn't send them anywhere else.

Excellent nursery with even better staff, the team at Holyrood Nursery Swinton are fantastic and we are so happy we chose this nursery for our daughter. She comes out with the biggest smile on her face every day. The outdoor space is fantastic. The rooms are filled with lots of different activities
and the manager is on the ball for anything I need to discuss.

My daughter started with Holyrood Nursery Swinton a few months ago. She’s always suffered massively with separation anxiety and wouldn’t even stay with family. In the short amount of time she’s been at the nursery, she has come out of herself massively. She’s so much happier and more confident. She’s
learned a lot already from being there and everyone can see a massive change in her. She’s started talking a lot more and her speech is so much clearer. I was so scared at first as I knew she would be so upset being left at a nursery, but the staff at Holyrood have always made me feel so comfortable. They are unbelievably patient and kind with my daughter. I feel like I’m now leaving her with a member of my family. The facilities are really good and my daughter loves especially to play outside. Parents are kept up to date about their children and informed of everything. Thank you so much to all the staff at Holyrood. You’re all a godsend!

Holyrood Nursery Swinton is a truly outstanding nursery. The staff are incredible with the children - from babies right through to pre-school. They genuinely care about each child and go the extra mile to help them settle, stretch their imagination, build on their interests and above all, make them

Since starting my daughter at Holyrood she has come on in leaps and bounds. She thoroughly enjoys her time at nursery. The staff and management are fantastic. I wouldn't think about alternative childcare, the nursery is very clean, bright and friendly.

Following a house move over the summer, we had to reluctantly change our son's nursery and also start our one-year-old girl at Holyrood. I was apprehensive and very nervous but the staff have been fantastic and very friendly and accommodating. one member of staff showed us around and her energy and
enthusiasm is just wonderful. My son loves her! All the staff stop to say hello in the corridors and are so welcoming and engaging. The fact that my little boy runs in of a morning eager to get to preschool and never cries when we drop off is such a relief and testament to the care they receive whilst there. My little girl started napping in the baby room within a few weeks of starting which tells me that she trusts her surrounding and her carers. I often pick her up and she’s asleep being cuddled by one of the ladies in her room. Holyrood have created a home from home and I know that my children are cared for and cuddled when they need it which brings so much peace of mind. Thank you for all your wonderful work!

The staff at Holyrood Nursery Swinton are lovely, very professional and caring. The rooms are light and airy, with great chillout spaces. The facilities are excellent inside and outside. The outside space is great, with plenty of room and things to do.

I recently put my son in this nursery due to having problems at a very well known local nursery. I was particularly worried about safeguarding in the previous nursery so it has been such a relief having my son at Holyrood. All of the staff that interact with my son genuinely care about his happiness
and wellbeing. The nursery is so calm compared to any other we have viewed in the area (trust me we have viewed them all!) and we love how spacious the rooms/outdoor space is. Frankie has become so much happier when we pick him up compared to the last nursery, and I no longer worry about him whilst at work. You will not find another nursery in the area where the staff take an interest in your child and their development. I feel as though I'm leaving my baby with family and it's only been a short time we've had our son here. Thank you to all of the staff at Holyrood!

Amazing nursery, friendly and welcoming. My daughter settled in really well and loves attending. All members of staff are lovely and caring. As a working mum, I know my daughter is safe and being well looked after and doing different and fun activities(learning new sounds, football, dance and many
more) while she is there. I cannot fault this nursery at all the food is freshly cooked which my daughter loves and they have a brilliant outdoor area for all types of weather.

Great nursery! My little girl has really grown in confidence and now loves and asks to go to nursery.

This is an amazing place with an amazing team of people. The attention to detail is outstanding in all areas and the way my daughter has developed over the last year has been beyond expectation. The food looks and smells fantastic (considering booking a table) the recent refurbishment of the rooms is
5* and the building is always spotless. The energy and enthusiasm (and banter) that is shown by all who work here also give myself and my partner a boost when we drop off in the morning and collect in the evening :-)

My son goes to Holyrood Swinton and loves it so much he never wants to go home. The staff, management team and kitchen staff are very welcoming to children and parents and are always there to help with anything you need. Can’t fault the nursery at all.

The nursery has lots of floor space for the children to run around, play games and explore without feeling cramped. It is hard sometimes for children to get along whilst learning to share and space helps to manage those skills. Two of my children currently attend and they love it there, it is warming
to know as a parent that a child is happy and willing to go to a place where there was originally strangers looking after them. It tells me that there is no abusive behaviour and the staff is caring and friendly. My children love it and I love that they love it!

Absolutely love Holyrood Nursery in Swinton. all of my children have been there and I will also be taking my newest baby there the staff are amazing. I definitely would recommend sending your children to this nursery it’s 10/10 from me. My son loves going to Holyrood always excited just to get there

My girl attends here and I was very nervous about her switching nurseries, however, it was a great decision. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly and always have time for us. I am so pleased with Holyrood Nursery Swinton, my 18-month-old daughter absolutely loves it there. The staff are amazing, you can tell that they truly care about the children in the nursery. I can't thank them enough for making such a fuss of my daughter every morning when I drop her off, it puts both
me and her at ease and I can see how happy she is to see them! It is so reassuring to see how much they genuinely love their job. I also really appreciate that when I pick her up the staff take the time to give me feedback and detail about my daughter's day and her development. She is treated like an individual and I am so impressed with how much she is learning every day. The facilities are also great, particularly the outdoor garden area where the children are often making the most of the space.
