At Nina’s Nursery High Lane, staff believe in providing children the opportunities to be curious.

Enabling children the freedom to explore the world around them helps them to grow and develop into confident, secure and independent individuals.

Staff do this by providing them with a natural holistic environment which allows them to explore, investigate and develop their own learning pathway.

Both the entire setting and the children’s play spaces offer a calm and tranquil environment which in turn allows each child to become more engaged in deeper levels of sustained thinking.

Children believe it’s all about treasure! Beautiful resources rescued from charity shops, car boots and older generations are used to turn trash into treasure. It offers bright shiny beautiful items, random treasures that capture children and educators' imaginations. These are amazing resources that offer value to play, bringing a mix of textures and stimulus that no plastic counterpart can offer.

The staff work hard to ensure that this way of thinking is the main focus and that all the children that enter their early year’s journey here with us leave as bold, confident and independent individuals equipped with the life skills they can draw upon.

We could not be happier with how all of the staff at Nina's look after our son. He smiles every time we drop him off and is smiling when we pick him up again. They have supported his motor, social and verbal development and his confidence continues to grow. They provide regular updates on how he is
getting on and send us adorable photos of his day through the app. It is a great nursery.

We are so lucky to have Nina's, High Lane on our doorstep!
The manager and her team offer an amazing setting for the children, the curiosity approach is fantastic and has been so well suited to both of my boys who have/attend Nina's.
I certainly have no ‘mum guilt’ sending my boy as he really has
a fantastic time every day, with so many activities allowing him to have real-life experiences using everyday materials!

My eldest has been at Nina’s, High Lane for almost 3 and a half years and she has loved every minute. All the staff have been amazing. They get to know each child so well and my daughter will be sad to leave when she goes to school. The ideas for learning are really creative and different from anything
they would do at home. The outdoor learning/forest school activities are well thought out and really encourage curiosity and independence. Rather than being worried about my youngest starting in the baby room last year, I was excited for all the opportunities she would have and the staff have been brilliant in helping her to settle in quickly.

My daughter started at Nina's in November at 6 months old. She had no problems fitting in and loved going straight away. She loves the staff and has thrived there, she is developing very well and has now made several friends who she waves to through the window in the mornings. I couldn’t have wished
for a better place for her to go and would highly recommend Nina's in everything they do.

My 3 year old has settled into this nursery so well, and really quickly! I’m sure this is down to the lovely staff that make her feel comfortable and happy. She always has a brilliant day and she has learned a lot in a short space of time. I love the curiosity approach they have to learning, and I’m
confident she will be more than ready for school when the time comes! The kids spend time outside playing in the garden as well as regular trips to the local woods.

Where do I start?
Since my child started there he has developed into a well behaved and polite little
boy, he’s always eager to tell us what he’s done there every day and every day it’s something different.
He will certainly miss all the staff that work there who have been brilliant in every way.

My son absolutely loves going to Nina's Nursery every day. He has only been there 9 months and after a very stressful 2020 all the staff have been so warm and welcoming. They’re supportive of all our needs and as a single parent, I couldn’t be happier with the way they work around our routine. My little
4 year old has hopefully made some lifelong friends and I’m so happy we chose to send him here. His development in all areas has improved dramatically, and he is more sociable and friendly. What he eats daily has improved as they’re always getting him to try new foods, as well as learning about the environment from planting seeds and weekly visits to the forest for forest school. His confidence amazes me and I firmly believe it’s being at Nina's that’s made him excel!
Thank you so much to all of you at Nina's for doing such an amazing job, keep up the good work.

Couldn't ask for a better nursery for our little boy. The staff are just wonderful and so supportive. They even take the time to assist with challenges you may have at home with your child. They are all so lovely, approachable and accomodating to changes.
Nutritious home-cooked meals served everyday
and seeing him so excited to go into nursery just gives us complete peace of mind of how happy he is there within the setting. The app also let's you see all the lovely things they have done that day and the nice meals they have had. As full time working parents this is just wonderful to see how full and exciting his day really is.
Can't thank you all enough.

My niece has been attending Nina's for 2 years now and has blossomed and progressed very well. Nina's Nursery curiosity approach allows my neice to have such respect for nature, the outdoors and all the small and innocent things in life.
I'm so proud to see how well my niece is doing at Nina's Nursery.
She has developed and grown so much. I love seeing on social media (Facebook and Instagram) the fantastic curiosity approach. The outdoor trips, and exploring the world and gaining such great insight and knowledge at such a young age. The work the nursery are doing now is definitely going to help my niece with personal development and life skills while having fun and playing. The staff are very knowledgeable and always lovely when I collect her. They always give me a detailed description of how her day has been. Have been safe throughout the pandemic and kept my niece safe happy and curious.

This is just an absolutely fantastic nursery and our son loves it here. He is currently in the preschool room and has come on so much with his learning as well as being much more independent when doing things for himself. The weekly forest sessions are brilliant and by far his favourite day of the week.
The staff are all so caring and really know the children well, they all have fantastic relationships with them. The food is lovely and very well thought out and nutritionally balanced.

The best nursery with the best staff. Both my girls have had excellent care at Nina's and I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. They are always creating new skills, experiences and memory’s whilst I get daily feedback and photos so I can keep up to date with what they’ve done.

I have been really impressed with how quickly my daughter has settled as she hadn’t spent a lot of time with other adults or children due to the pandemic. However, the staff have been amazing with her and it’s great to see her interacting with other children her own age. We received regular updates
and pictures during the day, so I know she’s enjoying herself and learning new things.

My daughter was very young when she started her settling sessions at Nina's Nursery (High Lane) Ltd at only six months old. Naturally I was very reluctant to even send her but very quickly I noticed how happy and excited she was to see her key workers and friends every day. Over only a few short months
I have watched my daughter blossom! She has developed skills more advanced than I could have dreamed, her character is delightful and I owe that a lot to the girls who put their love and care into her on a daily basis. It is safe to say that my daughter adores everyone and we can't wait to see how she develops further over the coming years.

We’ve been so happy with our choice of nursery - our son comes home at the end of a day full of smiles and is always super excited when we tell him it’s a nursery day! The staff are simply amazing...caring, thoughtful, engaging and communicative. They put so much thought into the structure of the day,
the children are constantly learning and gaining new experiences, in a safe and very kind environment. Would recommend to anyone!

There is no more review needed than that my child absolutely adores this nursery. She only attends one full day a week and yet is always asking to go and look at pictures. She has come on leaps and bounds since attending and is always moving forward with their guidance for me. I love their natural,
no plastic approach too and it shows in my daughters interests at home.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for six months now. The staff have always been amazing, caring and we can see the effects of the positive learning environment on a daily basis. Friendly and helpful staff. Love the app to get what my child is doing throughout the day. Great activities for him to do and keep busy. Very different approach to learning which is really Eco friendly more than other places. Great interaction with our son who has come on so much since starting.
