Staff are fantastic my daughter loves coming to Glen Jakes. My wife and I are more than happy with how our daughter is coming on. It is the same as my eldest daughter who left 3 years ago.

My daughter has been at the nursery for a year now and she absolutely loves it. She has come on so much since starting, she interacts with everyone and her speech is coming on massively. I can’t praise the staff enough they have been absolutely fantastic and my daughter loves going, it’s lovely to see
her going in with a big smile on her face, it’s like home from home with her now and she gets so excited to go. Couldn’t ask for better than that.

Glen Jakes is a happy, bubbling nursery. Always smiling faces to greet you - both staff and kids.
The children are totally pooped out when you collect them but full of enthusiasm to tell you what they've done, who they have played with and what they ate for lunch.
The nursery has a great pragmatic
approach coupled with emotional empathy to help kids develop.

Our little girl has attended Glen Jakes Nursery since she was 1 and is now almost 4. The staff have always been very friendly and caring. She looks forward to going and can’t wait to be dropped off there in the morning. At open evening, her key worker went through her learning journey file with us,
explaining all about what she had been doing and where she was up to with her learning. I’ve always found the nursery to be very flexible if I’ve needed to swap our usual days due to work or holidays, which has been really helpful :)

Fantastic home from home day nursery with a lovely warm feeling as soon as you walk through the door.
Staff are very accommodating with different shift patterns etc.
My boys have all gone here and they love to go to see the horses down on the farm whilst there.
Highly recommend Glen Jakes Day Nursery.

I love this nursery. It has such a lovely home from home feel, my daughter has so much fun surrounded by lots of friends, friendly and adoring staff and a stimulating environment. As a mother of a child who has previously struggled to settle with a childminder, I am so pleased to have found Glen Jakes.
It
is clear the staff are not only colleagues but friends which adds to the warm environment they provide - daily messy play, outside play with lots of outdoor equipment and great learning opportunities through play.
Although the children are in the rooms relevant to their age, the children have opportunities to mix together and spend time with other members of staff.
It a lovely setting and we're so pleased we found Glen Jakes and grateful to them for all they do for our daughter.

Glen Jakes Nursery is excellent! They are all very friendly and go out of their way to help all the children and make their time there so enjoyable. My daughter loves going to nursery and would recommend Glen Jakes to everyone.

The staff are very caring and my daughter looks forward to coming each week. There are a variety of different activities and she especially likes 'stretch and grow' and playing in the secure outdoor area. I receive a diary entry for her after each day showing what she has eaten and the activities that
have taken place that day and the staff always take time to go through this with me.
I would recommend the nursery to anyone my daughter will be upset to leave and go to 'big school'.

I am very happy with the standard at Glen Jakes Private Day Nursery and the staff are caring and friendly. My son is very settled and enjoys his time there. There is a good range of activities and he gets plenty of fresh air. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

My partner and I were so unsure when starting our little one at the nursery. Just after her 2nd birthday, we started here. We were given the taster sessions to ease her in gently which really helped her and us. At first, it was hard as was all new to our little one, and us! The ladies and gent looked
after her so well and reassured all would be ok. In such a short space of time, our little one absolutely loves going to nursery and playing with her new friends. Such a friendly and warm place. Highly recommended

Both my children have attended Glen Jakes and found it hard to settle. Glen Jakes has always has gone above and beyond to make them feel loved and secure. I have seen my little girl become confident and full of knowledge as she has moved through the different nursery rooms and this is down to the hard
work and care of the staff. My little boy still finds it hard to leave me, however, the staff working in his room are so full of love and enthusiasm each morning when I drop him off, that it makes it much easier to leave. I couldn’t ask for anything more from my children’s nursery and I thank all of the staff who have made it such a lovely nursery.

My daughter loves attending nursery and talks about going back all weekend.
I am extremely happy with my daughter development.
All members of staff are very friendly and approachable and treat all the children as they would their own.
I can’t commend Glen Jakes highly Private Day Nursery enough.

My son started at to Glen Jakes Private Day Nursery in June 2017 when I went back to work. He was so used only having me that it was a big change for him but after a few weeks he settled in perfectly. The staff are all so lovely, you can tell that they genuinely love and care about the little people
who they care for every day, and they were so supportive with me when I was struggling when first returning to work as I hated to see my little boy upset. He is happy when he arrives at nursery and I get a big smile when I pick him up! We’ve seen his confidence growing each week, he’s learning new things and having fun in an imaginative and caring environment. There is a riding school next door where the children are taken to visit the horses, get some fresh air and have a mini adventure when it’s not raining. Food is freshly prepared on-site every day too.
Absolutely 5* to Glen Jakes, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a home from home for their precious little person, you won’t regret it!

My little girl started at Glen Jakes Private day Nursery when she was 6 months old and as a parent I was obviously very anxious at leaving my child for the first time, but the staff at Glen Jakes Day Nursery completely put my mind at ease and was amazing at settling my little girl into nursery life,
my child is now 18 months old and loves her time at nursery, I couldn't want or ask for better staff to care and nurture my child during her time there, she has progressed so much and always has a fabulous day and I wouldn't send her anywhere else.

My fifteen-month-old son absolutely loves this nursery. The staff our lovely. Children are always entertained and cared for. There are lots of different activities for them to take part in, from Boogie Babies (an external company they bring in), sandpit play, painting, outdoor activity play, and walks
down to see the horses etc. Myself and my partner both attended this nursery over thirty years ago and it's so nice to see it is still run by the same family.

My little boy started settling in sessions at Glen Jakes a couple of months ago. He was one and had always been at home with me. He found it very difficult to be separated from me and was very upset all day, every day, for the first few weeks. I was so impressed with the way that the staff at Glen Jakes
dealt with the situation. They were patient and caring. They allowed him to have extra settling in sessions and were reassuring and supportive. He is now really enjoying his time there and is happy when I drop him off. He has developed a lot of new skills over the past couple of months and is clearly learning there. The staff are all approachable and easy to talk to. They are warm and affectionate with my little boy and I really feel that they know him well and care about him. He clearly loves them! This knowledge has really helped my transition back to work and I am extremely grateful to them all.

We have had two children go through Glen Jakes Day Nursery. We love the home-like feel the nursery has and the care the staff give to the children. The menu is extensive and home cooked. The children do lots of activities such as seeing the horses and doing activities to suit the season.

I love Glen Jakes Nursery, my son has attended here since being 10 months old and has always enjoyed coming, he has been in all of the rooms and is now in the pre-school room. He has come on in leaps and bounds and has learnt so much that he would have only learnt from being at nursery. I also like
the fact that Glen Jakes is surrounded by such a lovely outdoor area, with the children being able to have access to the stables. I would highly recommend Glen Jakes Nursery.
