My daughter has been attending Hazelwood Nursery for three years now since she was 8 months old. I have never been anything other than delighted and impressed with the care she has received during this time.


There is a real family feel to the nursery, which is one of the main reasons we chose Hazelwood.

The nursery staff are called "Aunties" making them feel like an extension of the child's family. The nursery is within the grounds of a converted house, which again helps to create a 'home from home' feel, especially important when your child is going into daycare early on.


Even though we recently moved out of the area, we didn't change to a closer, more convenient childcare provider, but made the decision to continue sending our daughter to Hazelwood as it simply exceeded all the other daycare options we had seen.


I can't reccomend them highly enough and will be incredibly sad when my daughter leaves for primary school this year

My son has been going to Hazelwood Nursery for a year and a half so far - he loves it! The staff are kind, caring and knowledgeable on the needs and development trends of babies and young children. The standard of care is very high and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to others.
I enjoyed
seeing my son in his first carol concert at Christmas and taking him to out of nursery time events. An example is the recent Spring Time Extravaganza where there were lots of activities including a mobile farm where the children could pet the animals. The nursery recently arranged for some owls to visit the children and also a delivery of eggs so the children could see them hatch!
The nursery is keen to take part in charity events such as Children In Need and Jeans for Genes.
This is a friendly and welcoming nursery and I am glad my son has had the opportunity to have a place here.

Hazelwood Nursery has been fantastic with both of my boys since the ages of 10 months. They settled in well and loved all the staff. The activities they do with the children are fantastic and the staff are very friendly and tailor everything to each child's individual needs. We have had to leave the
nursery due to moving to a different location and I am distraught and struggling to find a nursery where my kids are happy and the staff are so attentive just like at Hazelwood Nursery. I would highly recommend Hazelwood Nursery as it is a lovely family run nursery and not a big chain.

We are attending nursery only once a week, but even from that short time spent there can't praise it enough!
My daughter started going to Hazelwood Nursery in September 2015 when she was about 14 month old. We were offered the settling down period which lasted about a month. LO was very curious about
the whole thing, the nursery building itself, new toys, activities. She started feeding independently observing other children do so.
Aunties (that's how the nurseries staff are called, which is lovely) were very welcoming and were giving her a lot of reassurance all the time, also keeping up our regular routine (bottle feeding, dummy, sleep times).
They have sensory activities, story time, outdoor play, they go for a strolls in the buggies sometimes. They paint, do a messy plays, etc. Aunties are so loving and caring, they always give a cuddle to those children who are poorly. And they always tell how your child been today, how they ate and what they did. Highly recommend!
