Eldonians Day Nursery, Liverpool, is a purpose-built facility easy for parents to reach from the city centre and organise a convenient timetable that is beneficial to themselves and their children.

A number of external play areas are available to children, as well as a wide range of games and group activities that are shown to be effective in developing personal skills.

The team of enthusiastic early years professionals plays a key part in creating a stimulating environment for children to play, learn and discover the world around them. The team was proud to achieve an 'Outstanding' rating by Ofsted in October 2022.

I picked this nursery for my little boy when he was 15 months old and he leaves this week to start school nursery in September, my little boy has loved his time here and will miss all the lovely staff who have helped him to settle in an learn and grown in the time he has been here.
The staff at the
nursery are so friendly and welcoming when drop-off and collect and also provide reassuring phone calls when ringing up to see how my little boy had settled after drop-off.

All of the staff are amazing. My child has attended for over two years, I always feel confident she is well looked after. All the staff are so supportive and patient, it would be unfair to name just one or two as every single staff member goes above and beyond. Thank you to all of you, extremely grateful!

My daughter excelled when she started in this nursery from the very caring staff to the excellent facilities they have. I always felt that my daughter was safe in the environment she was in. I felt that my daughter's confidence and wide range of knowledge exceeded my expectations and made me feel she
was ready for school. My other daughter is starting this nursery, and I have no concerns and make the whole transition a lot more easier knowing that she will be in good hands.

My son started Bright Horizons Eldonians Nursery in April 2023.
I knew from the first visit he’d love it the nursery has a lovely vibe to it and the staff are all amazing! They’re professional, caring and attentive he’s come on leaps and bounds since starting, especially since he started doing 2 days
a week. It’s like a home away from home for him and I feel at ease knowing he’s well looked after whilst I’m at work. I love the app and seeing what activities he’s been doing each day. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough all the staff go above and beyond and I’m so grateful for this.

Since my child started attending Eldonians Nursery, I am very happy with the care he receives, his development, personnel, etc. They also understand well how to deal with allergies which is very important in my case. They use an application to upload some pictures of the activities done during the day,
tell you the food your child had and update you on his development in different areas.
A small area of improvement would be a bit more consistency with the upload of activities done during the day. If they didn't have the chance during the day to take pictures, maybe a section similar to the meals one with activities would be nice.
Still, overall the experience is really positive and a huge improvement compared to the previous nursery my child attended to.

Bright Horizons Eldonians Day Nursery and Preschool has given my son huge amounts of confidence in recent months. We are so thrilled with his progress and are 100% sure that this is due to the support and care he receives at nursery. Previously he did just one day a week and wasn't thriving as well
as we'd hoped. We decided, after advice from the staff, to try two days a week to build his confidence and the difference was night and day. The staff are always thrilled to see him and watch him grow. I never feel like the staff have multiple children to take care of, when I hear about his day it's like he's the only one they take care of. Would highly recommend this nursery and the amazing staff that work there.

Both my little girls have attended Bright Horizons from a very young age, my eldest began in 2020. My youngest is currently in Toddlers. My girls both love the nursery, all the staff are so lovely professional and caring, they are like a 2nd family. Both my girls have come on leaps and bounds. Thanks
to the nursery environment, they have made some lovely friends for life. I can't thank all the staff enough for helping my girls to develop, have fun and make lovely friends. I can't recommend this nursery enough, it's a lovely place, I just wish they didn't have to leave.

Since my son started nursery he has come on leaps and bounds, he’s settled and made friends and it's all down to the nursery. My review is from when my child began at the nursery up until the present (September 2023). The nursery staff have always been supportive and kind to myself and my daughter. They’ve always been really attentive and I love how they update the app throughout the day so I get to see what my daughter has
been enjoying whilst at nursery. I can’t recommend this nursery enough, our experience has been really pleasant.

Fantastic nursery. Staff are all friendly, professional and so helpful. Both of my sons are in the nursery and they both really enjoy all the activities and the environment. I feel very comfortable leaving my sons in nursery because I know they are in safe hands. The structure, the outdoor area and
cleanliness of the nursery is excellent. I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone who is thinking of putting their children into nursery. It's the best nursery around.

Bright Horizons nursery is just amazing for me and my daughter. All the girls and staff are really helpful and lovely.
Also my daughter loves going here she would go Saturday and Sunday if she could. My daughter has come on lots since she started here. She wasn't as happy to go to school in her old
nursery where I have never had a problem here. She loves it so much, thank girls.

I could not fault this nursery at all! From the first visit after visiting other nurseries for my son I instantly felt comfortable, with the staff, the structure, the garden and the cleanliness. It’s now coming up to 12 months that my son has attended and all the staff are very caring, and supportive.
My son has very complex food allergies and he is always given a nutritious meal for lunch and tea. I definitely made the right decision!

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. She has come on so much since starting Bright Horizons, Eldonians. I never worry about her when she is there, as I know she is in safe hands. She eats well when she is there, having plenty of fruit and veg. She smiles at the staff when they come to the
door to take her in, so I know she is happy to be there.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since 2020. The staff and management team have been amazing with her, helping her to settle in and helping her to develop, she is in the toddler room and is thriving so much with her learning. She is a confident and happy little girl who loves going to nursery.
I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone who is thinking of putting there children into nursery.

Since my son started in the preschool room within the nursery 16 months ago he has been able to build great relationships and friendships with the staff and children within the room.
His speech, confidence, and being able to understand and manage his feelings has soared along with his imagination which
is developing rapidly every day with their brilliant activities using basic and natural resources encouraging him to build whatever he chooses.
I enjoy reading about my sons day, the nutritious meals he has had, and activities he’s participated in and am confident in recommending this nursery to anyone seeking a home from home, supportive and caring environment for their child.

My baby returns home in good mood after nursery. He seems to enjoy it and developed connections with the caregivers. I like daily reports so I know what he ate and didn't, what he played etc. The staff are welcoming and kind. They provide feedback on achievements or concerns and they seem very caring.
There are plenty of developing and nurturing activities happening daily at nursery. My husband and I are very pleased with the nursery and are glad we chose it for our baby.

When my daughter came back from the lockdown she went into the preschool room. She has always been nervous about coming into nursery.
The preschool girls have brought her confidence out, she has settled really well and really gets a lot out of nursery now.
I would highly recommend this nursery, all
the staff are really welcoming and friendly, the management are lovely and easy to approach if I have any issues and the nursery is well looked after and kept clean.

Hello, I have been at Eldonians since 2010. I have NVQ L3 and leadership and management L3. I am also the safeguarding officer for the nursery.

I started within the company at Kidsunlimited Broadgreen Nursery as a nursery nurse and worked my way through the ranks. I also supported lots of other nurseries in Liverpool whilst joining a task and finishing the group with Liverpool city council who would go around different nurseries to support with training, planning or enabling environments. I then came to Eldonians and took the nursery through three Ofsted inspections and received a good outcome on two occasions the most recent an outstanding which I am extremely proud of.
