Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-school provides exceptional childcare and education for babies and children up to the age of five. The setting is one of the most well-established nurseries in Speke, having been open for over ten years.

The nursery provides children with a fun, supportive environment where they can play in the great outdoors every day. Children at the setting enjoy a range of inspirational learning activities in 11 vibrant playrooms, including a soft play gymnasium and sensory room.

Up & Away's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has undergone an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The cook at Up & Away prepares fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery's menu is prepared using quality, fresh ingredients and can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery's fees, as well as nappies, milk, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30-hour childcare places are available for eligible families.

Great nursery. The staff are lovely and very attentive to each child. I have a picky eater and it's something they've helped us work on which has brought my child on a lot in terms of food they will try. The rooms are great and all the kids are always happy and well looked after.

Its been six months i have started sending my daughter to up and away. As my daughter moved from one nursery to another the transition was difficult for her but the up and away staff made sure that they were patient with her and made her feel home.
Every member is amazing, they put all their efforts
to ensure that child is learning, developing and been taken care of.
The meals are freshly prepared.
The best part is parents can visit inside the rooms and get to see smiling faces of their kid.
I wish i found up and away earlier!

Our son joined Partou when he was one, and now in his final year, it's been a joy to watch him grow into an independent young boy. The nursery has played an essential role in supporting his language development and reinforcing the five golden rules, which we still use at home. We're especially grateful
for their support during potty training. The team was patient and encouraging, providing plenty of opportunities, and thanks to their efforts, he's had very few accidents. The online app makes it easy to stay updated with pictures and details of his food and activities. The nursery goes out of its way to ensure the children have a variety of meals, with plenty of play equipment, and the kids are always encouraged to play outside when the weather is nice. Over the years, he's built wonderful relationships with the staff, who always welcome him with a smile and a hug. While we're sad to say goodbye to such a fantastic team, we are deeply grateful for everything they've done for him.

Our little boy absolutely loves attending Up & Away Nursery. Each morning, he arrives excited, diving into the arms of the staff without hesitation. We appreciate the consistent updates on his daily activities, including photographs that showcase his learning. The information on his feeds, naps, and
nappy changes gives us peace of mind, knowing he is well cared for by such a professional team. At the end of each day, we receive a thorough rundown from the staff about his day, which is incredibly helpful. His development is progressing rapidly, thanks to the dedicated nursery staff. We also want to thank two members of staff in particular for their oversight, especially in addressing the minor issues we encountered, which were resolved immediately. After considering numerous nurseries across Merseyside, Up & Away stood out for its cleanliness, caring environment, professionalism, and thorough approach to child development. My son has attended this nursery since February 2023, I've had 2 of my other sons attend here prior to this in 2019/20. It's a lovely place, the staff are really attentive and provide lots of fun-filled activities throughout the day, my son particularly enjoys the sensory room and garden for play. He's
come on so well this past year and can't thank the staff and nursery manager enough they've just been brilliant. Their new app is really good and interactive I can reply to comments on his activities throughout the day and can see photos of what he's been getting up to.

My little boy has been at Partou for a couple of years now, and it has been an incredibly positive environment for him to grow and develop. The fairly recent introduction of an app means that throughout the day I can see what and how much he has eaten, nappy changes or potty visits and most importantly,
the staff add some lovely photos of their day. Development milestones are tracked through an engaging variety of activities that we love talking about on our rides home.
The classrooms and garden areas never seem cramped, and I know like most my little one eats so much more fruit and veg when he is with his friends in nursery!
I can genuinely say that each of the staff has brought compassion and a frankly outrageous level of enthusiasm to looking after my little boy. I'm aware that the nursery recently became a part of Partou and has had a change of management, but the new team have been great to work with, and super helpful with changing hours and the new government funding.

My little boy started in March 2024, when he was 11 months old. We had looked at all the nurseries in the area, and without doubt this was the most impressive show around, the staff weren’t phased that we were there, and just continued to get on with their usual activities. There were problems with
weaning with my second little boy so I was even more nervous leaving him, but after speaking with the staff they made me feel better. Nearly 2 months there, I couldn’t be happier, and most importantly nor could my second little boy! All of the staff make a fuss of him (not just the two who are in his room permanently) and they show that they really do care about him. I cannot recommend Up and Away highly enough, a special thank you to two staff members in his room in particular, who my second little boy (and me) just adore, your time and patience with him has helped him settle in so well, your honesty with how he has been during the day reassures me, and he just loves the activities you do (and I love the pictures) thank you so much.

I would highly recommend Up & Away Day Nursery. My daughter started here at 18 months and has settled in so well. She literally cries when I pick her up now because she doesn’t want to leave!
They have helped so much with her motor skills, speech and social communication.
The staff are all so friendly
and welcoming and have made my daughter feel right at home.
The app used to communicate with parents is excellent and I love to see what she is getting up to!

My little girl started in January 2024. Initially, I went to look around the nursery I was very impressed with the layout and staff. I went to view other nurseries following this and there was no comparison.
We had our settling-in sessions which were reassuring and again staff were so friendly and
supportive. My little girl loves going to nursery, she has the biggest smile on her face going in and on the handover to the staff. I am very pleased so far with our experience. The parent app is also very good to check in on what she is doing throughout the day. The nursery is reasonable in terms of price and caters for shift workers which is very hard to come across with other nurseries or childminders.

My son has been going to this nursery for 11 months now for 3 days a week. I have seen such a massive difference in his confidence around adults and other children too he really has come on in leaps and bounds. I can’t thank the staff enough they are brilliant and the patience they have is amazing.
I recommend this nursery to any parents I speak to as it’s just brilliant. My son always comes home to tell us what a fun-filled day he has always had and the yummy healthy foods he has eaten.

Up and Away has wonderful, inspirational and patient staff. I have two children who currently attend in different age groups. They have created a warm and joyful environment in which all children learn creatively and freely. They are willing to take training for special small people and they always
listen to parents preferences. Food is always prepared safely and securely in the kitchen as well as allergies are taken into consideration. Office staff are kind and understanding of your circumstances and try their very best to support you.
Honestly, I can’t find a fault and you won’t either. My children always come to me happy and full of confidence. Even the younger staff are the most polite people I’ve ever met with a good mature head on their shoulders. Theirs not a situation they cannot handle. I’m entirely grateful for each of them.

I have had the most amazing experience with this nursery, can't praise the staff enough, especially my daughter's one-on-one, he is really good at his job but does not make you feel it's just his job he tends to not only the child's needs but mine as a parent. I don't really like to share my daughter
and was very worried about how inconsistent my drop offs and pick ups may be around my other daughter and other jobs during the day but her key keyworker and all the staff have been nothing but amazing my daughter has really taken her sessions in her stride she's amazed me how well she's getting on with routine in there and that's all down to the patience and teamwork of the staff. I could not speak any more highly after my older daughter attended another nursery I have something to compare and Up and Away is no comparison they do things I never expected from a nursery, updates on my daughter's day-to-day activities and always a little recap on pick up. Can't thank them enough truly the dream team.

Absolutely can not thank and praise this wonderful nursery enough. The staff are all lovely and welcoming and have taken care of my son tremendously. He has come out of his shell toward other kids and people since attending the nursery and his speech and vocabulary has come on leaps and bounds as he
was a covid baby he was struggling with separation anxiety but since coming to up and away that has helped so much and my son has grew from it. All the staff and management do a fantastic job here at Up & Away Day Nursery Speke.

My daughter has attended Up and Away for the past three years and has loved her time there. She is due to start primary school in September, and I know she will miss all the friends she has made and the staff in the preschool room. The staff are friendly and approachable and take the time to get to
know the children individually. My 22-month-old son also attends the nursery and has settled in well. He has some additional needs, which the nursery has accommodated really well. I would recommend this nursery to people living in the local area or who work on the Estuary Business Park.

Our little boy started full-time at this nursery in June 2023. The team in blue skies have been incredible and he loves every minute there. The genuine care the staff have for the children is wonderful and they do such a range of activities to keep them engaged and developing. He always has the biggest
smiles for the staff.
As a parent, the communication is amazing, the app means we can see photos of what he has been up to and each day we get a summary of what he ate, how much he slept and even how many nappies he had! So pleased with our choice and I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Since my child has started in the nursery, I have seen her progress in a very beneficial way, we still experience some upset when I initially leave her, but once I’ve gone she is absolutely fine and loves nursery and being with her friends and the staff. My daughter has grown special bonds with a few
members of staff that I know go over and above to ensure her happiness and comfort. The activities she participates in during her nursery days are interesting and really engaging for my girl. I can’t thank them enough for the reassurance they offer to both myself and my child
