My little boy has recently moved up a class to Bombo's 3 and I thought the transition would be difficult but the girls in the class made him feel so welcome, he even shouts 'yayy' when we arrive at Nursery. He talks about his teachers and friends at home and every time I pick him up he is always telling
me a story about the day and mainly he is always happy! The girls always put pictures up and little stories about his day, he makes beautiful pictures and I feel he has developed so much in his ways. All the staff are lovely, pleasant and attentive and I feel so much at ease leaving my little boy and I know he has fun every day. I just want to say thank you so much for everything you do for my little boy and can't fault it at all.

All staff have remained professional and friendly at all times.
The staff helped my daughter so much, loves going to Busy Bees and spending time with others.
My daughter's development has also come on so much since starting Busy Bees and that is thanks to all the hard-working staff.
If there was
one thing I would like to improve that would be a designated path at the entrance for those who walk in with their children, so they are not next to oncoming cars but that's if I'm being picky.

My son attends one day a week, initially, he would get incredibly upset when I left him, but the staff in his room were so kind and patient with me and him. They reassured me every single time that as soon as I was out of sight he would be absolutely fine. Now, at drop-off, he reaches out to them; he
smiles and laughs, and his confidence has come on leaps and bounds - this is all because of the fabulous staff and their hard work.

Busy Bees Southport is a fabulous nursery, full of welcoming, kind staff.
My little girl attended the nursery back in 2020 until she went to school in 2022 and now my little boy attends and he is so happy when entering the building and seeing his baby room staff.
All the team have settled my little
boy into nursery life in an amazing way and I am so grateful to them.
As a parent of a child with eating intolerances, I have never once worried about the care my little boy receives.
Overall, we couldn’t be more happy with Busy Bees Southport. It is full of fabulous staff and happy little ones.

We have two children at Busy Bees Southport, who have attended from when they were each around six months old. They both absolutely love going, and they get so excited when they know it's a nursery day. They have both excelled since attending and have built lovely bonds with the staff and their peers.
My daughter also has CMPA, and the staff have done a brilliant job of ensuring she doesn't come into contact with any dairy and helping in any way they can.

I think this is a great nursery. My daughter (who is my second child) is at Busy Bees Southport and she is developing very well. I feel that the team is patient and understanding and they adapt to each child to bring out the best in them.

My daughter has always been good when arriving at nursery but recently started to get upset as I left her. To reassure me, the team would send photos showing that she had settled down etc. We established she was missing her mum and dad, and the team started working on ways to help her settle better
- individual support activities, etc. They also worked on certificates and sticker charts and she is now going into nursery with no tears. The team's dedication to making both my daughter and myself happier at drop-off is amazing.
Separate to this, all the staff there know my daughter by name, even those not in her class, and they always find the time to say hello to her. Their dedication astounds me!

Our daughter loves it here! the staff are really great and they do a big mix of things for the children to keep them entertained and teach them new things. The outside play areas are really big which is great for the summer and the indoor spaces are large, clean and full of things to do.
The app is
also really handy and the staff update it throughout the day and send photos of fun activities so you don't miss out on what they have been up to. Also good for knowing what they have eaten and if they have pooed/used potty etc. which is very helpful.
The food always sounds amazing and makes me wish I was getting to eat there.

Having moved from another local nursery due to poor management and childcare (closed by Ofsted). I moved to Busy Bees Southport and I haven’t looked back. My child was a delayed talker due to lockdown/poor nursery care and wasn’t verbal, this was spotted immediately and a discussion was had about putting
a plan in place to support my child. With proper support, a care plan and encouragement, my child flourished. They’re ready for school and now never stop talking, this is largely down to Busy Bees.
I also put my other baby into Busy Bees, Southport from 1 year old and he is thriving, ahead with his speech, making friends and doing activities daily that I’d love to do but due to work/life commitments, I can’t. My youngest has a food allergy and eczema, the staff apply cream and ensures his allergy is protected, nothing is too much trouble. I feel like I owe so much to this nursery, the management and all the staff are fantastic.

Best nursery in Southport. My daughter loves going and has learnt so much in the time she has been there. I wouldn’t send my girls anywhere else!

Absolutely fantastic nursery! Both my girls run straight in. Both myself and the girls have built really strong bonds with the staff here. I wouldn't dream of ever sending them anywhere else. They have come on so much since starting here, their confidence is amazing. They surprise me every day with

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. Our daughter has been there since 12 months old and her development over the last 2 and a half years has been wonderful to see. She is so happy there and you can see all the staff genuinely care about the children as well as each other and the parents too.
We've
never had any issues and she is always well looked after.
Highly recommended!

Busy Bees is a brilliant nursery, my daughter is always so happy to go to nursery and I cannot rate the staff enough. They do so many different activities with the children and they are always outside which is one of the reasons we picked this nursery. The manager is brilliant and always knows what’s
going on. She also knows all of the children which makes it even more personal. My daughter's key workers have been amazing and I am always very impressed. My daughter has come on so much since starting at Busy Bees. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

Our eldest son attended Tibbi Tots from the age of eleven months until he left for Reception at a local primary school.
From the moment he arrived, my wife and I felt that he was in the safest of hands. The nursery itself is well appointed and equipped and staffed to deal with young children of all
abilities and characteristics. The activities the children take part in are varied and stimulating and we can say without a shadow of a doubt that our son’s time there developed him immensely educationally and socially. The centre director and all her staff have a way of dealing with you as the parent, that makes you feel you’re the only parent they ever speak to. They are thoroughly professional and qualified for the demanding roles they have.
The nursery chef provides healthy and nutritious meals three times a day (plus snacks) for all the children - I have no idea how he manages but he does.
I can’t recommend Tibbi Tots enough.

Could not sing the praises of all the staff and this nursery any more than I already do! Both my children attend and they have been exceptional from the start and throughout the pandemic. The safety of the children is very clearly their main priority, my children love going there! The staff are so friendly
and treat my children as if they where their own it’s fantastic to see, I do and will continue to recommend this nursery to anyone who will listen and could not have wished for a better nursery to have my children attend.

My little girl has attended Tibbi Tots for 18 months now and loves it! The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Since going back after lockdown the procedures they have in place are fantastic and the staff are really understanding as my little girl gets upset being left at the door but they always
reassure me that within 5 minutes she is happily eating breakfast!
Any concerns I have had have always been dealt with promptly by the manager who is really friendly and goes out of her way to get to know all the children at the nursery and welcomes them at the door since returning which I think is lovely.
Would highly recommend this nursery and looking forward to my little boy joining in January!

Tibbi Tots is a lovely nursery! All four of my children have attended, my forth is still currently there and they have all loved their time at the nursery. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the food and snacks are healthy and varied, the nursery is clean and has lots of toys/facilities etc. The
staff are all wonderful with helping the children to settle in and progress whilst at the nursery. Would highly recommend!

On my second child through this nursery. Management was always visible but not always around now. Staff employed seem to be younger age and not as experienced with children. Always chatted to keyworker and knew who they were but my second experience not had the same level of service. Feel like you repeat
yourself sometimes to different staff about your child. Routine is changed like naps stopped without parent's permission. Since the parent zone app is introduced you know less about your child's day. The app could be used a lot better than what it is. Sometimes the app isn't updated with naps. Don't seem to have parents evening as often as my first experience. Feel like service has gone down through my second child not stayed same or improved. If I had a 3rd child I wouldn't jump to book a place.

Joined: 1998

Hello, my name is Katy and I have worked at Busy Bees Southport since I left school in July 1998 and became the Centre Director in April 2022. 


I started as an apprentice completing both my level 2 & 3 in Early Years Care and Education. During my time at the nursery, I have been dedicated in delivering high quality childcare and education for all children in a safe and secure environment. I have had experience working with all of the different age ranges over the years.


Here at the Southport nursery we pride ourselves for having excellent parent partnerships so if there is anything you need support with do not hesitate to get in touch.
