Catering for children aged from babies to preschoolers, Busy Bees Formby offers the perfect setting for your child to thrive throughout their early education whilst preparing them for the next big steps.

Set in the heart of the community, the nursery seeks to provide a home-from-home environment where children can flourish with the support of the experienced team and all the resources on offer. There are a range of rooms equipped for all ages to ensure children can socialise with their peers whilst also benefiting from activities and experiences catered to their interests and stage of development.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, the team work hard to ensure that children are provided the best start to their education whilst also focusing on filling every day with fun and laughter; there is truly never a dull day at this nursery.

The ‘UP’ app! makes sure the fun doesn't stop there. Providing a wide range of resources, activities, information, and advice, you can use the app for ideas to support your little one's development from the comfort of your own home.

Busy Bees Formby is a great nursery. My baby has settled in great. The staff are very caring and communicate very well. The ladies in the office have been helpful in getting my daughter settled in. The team in the baby room (among the rest of the staff) make me feel very happy and comfortable leaving
my baby in their care.

We are confident that the staff are nurturing and will cuddle and comfort our son if he needs it. But they also have a focus on developing his skills and we have seen huge progress in his speech and his motor skills. He is confident around other children and we can go to work knowing that he is being
well looked after. We also find the admin side of things is very smooth - there is always ad hoc availability, emails are responded to within a few hours - we couldn't fault them.

Staff are very warm and welcoming.
The centre has a lovely, homely feel. Nice and bright with great amounts of space for the children to explore.
Would highly recommend to my family and friends.
Staff were really supportive and helped my son's transition period go smoothly. He is really settled now
and really enjoys his time at Busy Bees.

This nursery is just fab! My daughter has settled so well in nursery and the staff are so attentive and caring. The nursery has recently had a refurb which is looking great and the garden space is also amazing. I would reccommend this nursery to everyone!

Our son has been attending Busy Bees Formby for almost two years now, and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives. He loves going in every day!
The staff are always friendly and go the extra mile to ensure our son feels comfortable and included.
As parents, we feel completely at ease each
morning when we drop him off, knowing he's in great hands. The regularly updated app gives us extra peace of mind, keeping us informed about how he's doing throughout the day.
We're extremely satisfied with the service and will be sad when he moves on to the next stage.

So far, Busy Bees has been great. I was worried my daughter would struggle with settling in but no, quite the opposite. Staff have been and are amazing with her. It's been easy really. My daughter thoroughly enjoys her time there.

Lovely helpful staff, and my son is always so happy.
So many good activities going on, lovely outside space, and always good updates on food/changes/activities on the nursery app.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees since she was around 8 months old and she is now nearly 5 and ready to start school, I couldn't have picked a better nursery for my daughter. The staff are all amazing with her and have supported my daughter and myself over the years, I'll be really sad to see my daughter
leave and I know my daughter will be sad to leave all the amazing staff behind.

Our son has been at Busy Bees since April when he was 7 months old and he loves it - he was settled in so well and actually giggles as we walk up the steps each morning. I feel so confident leaving him in such a caring setting and I can go to work without worrying about him. Everyone is so friendly
and the staff are all fantastic.

The nursery as a whole is fantastic. My daughter is safe and well cared for. The staff are wonderful with her and those that work in other rooms are also very friendly as you meet them in the corridors etc. I know my daughter will enjoy her time at Busy Bees - it's sad to know she's leaving the baby
room in a few months but she'll continue to thrive as she moves through the nursery I'm sure.

From my son starting nursery we have always felt he is well looked after. His speech problems were picked up straight away and interventions were put in place in response to that initial assessment. My son is coming on in leaps and bounds and I truly believe this is because of the care and the dedication
the team at Formby have shown him. He thoroughly enjoys attending the setting and will often ask to go on days he's not meant to.
The staff are all friendly and approachable. There is an open-door policy which I find both useful and reassuring as a parent.

My child has been attending Busy Bees Formby since he was a year old, he loves his days and comes home with a smile on his face and stories to tell.
I have increased the number of days my child attends as he has developed so much with the support of the staff, in both his confidence and education.
The
office staff are always happy to help, and as a child with food allergies, the chef has always made sure he has suitable meals which he enjoys.

Absolutely faultless. The whole experience has been so positive and enjoyable. Putting our first child into nursery was something we dreaded, however, the whole team have made the transition so easy for us. The care our child receives is great. The keyworker keeps us informed of everything. We visited
lots of nurseries, but as soon as we visited Busy Bees, we knew instantly it was the one. The staff are brilliant and i can't thank them enough. Everyone from the office staff to the keyworkers are fantastic. I can't recommend Busy Bees, Formby, enough.

My daughter attended Busy Bees in Formby for 14 months and has just left due to the fact that we have relocated. She has had the most tremendous experience there and I have felt so happy leaving her in their capable and loving hands. She has made so many lovely friends and forged excellent relationships
with all the staff she has come into contact with. When you send your child here, they receive a totally individualised approach. Every child is valued and time is taken to ensure that they are happy. I am so sad that my daughter has had to leave and I felt compelled to share my fantastic experience with those considering sending their child to Busy Bees. I recommend it unreservedly. The staff go above and beyond. Each child is celebrated and cared for. All their special occasions are recognised and marked. My daughter has developed so much and her time there has set her in good stead for the future.

I have been extremely impressed with the high standard of care provided to my son over the last few years. His language and general development accelerated when he started at Busy Bees at 11 months. He enjoys going to nursery, has made lots of friends, and most days returns with some creative art work.
The outside play spaces are great, as are the age-appropriate resources in the different rooms. I get frequent updates, including pictures, about what he has been up to, which helps alleviate the mum guilt of working and not being with your child full time. They have prepared him really well for school. He has a serious food allergy which has been accommodated for very well - the menu is really impressive. Staff are warm and friendly, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery. My second child is about to start, and I am confident they will thrive as my son has. Keep up the good work team!
