Busy Bees Thurstaston Nursery offers children a fun and stimulating environment in which to learn. Nestled in leafy surroundings, the setting lends itself well to the nursery's ethos of first-hand experiences through outdoor play. The nursery is purpose-built and specifically designed to provide a nurturing learning environment. The setting is safe and secure, with CCTV in operation throughout the building.

The nursery boasts its own off-site Forest School offering children the invaluable opportunity to explore their imaginations and interact with the natural world, boosting their powers of observation and their self-confidence as they learn new things.

The unrivalled Pre-school for children aged 3-5 offers a rich, action-packed curriculum which includes daily phonic sessions and exercise classes, run alongside the EYFS curriculum. Every effort is made to inspire the children to initiate their own learning and encourage independence in readiness for school life.

A menu of freshly prepared, natural and tasty food is provided daily by all of the nurseries.

My two children attend Busy Bees Thurstaston. I have found it a reliable, secure and caring childcare setting.
My son attends pre-school and is being well-prepared for his educational future ahead and undertakes a wide range of fun activities, indoors and out.
My daughter attends the baby room,
her care is overseen by two members of staff, in particular. I cannot praise these two staff members enough. My daughter is attentively supported by the team and has so much fun at nursery. She is able to take part in so many creative, sensory experiences. Meanwhile, she has been supported in becoming independent in her dressing, loves to play and engage with books and gets plenty of time outdoors. The two members of staff are so gentle, kind and very professional - Busy Bees Nursery should be proud of their hard work.

Since the day my boy stepped into this nursery, we have been welcomed with open arms and smiley faces. Nothing is ever too much for the staff or managers, very thoughtful and professional group of staff that listen to your every need. My little boy smiles every day arriving and leaving and has built
an amazing connection with his key worker. Thank you to 5 staff members in particular, for all of your help with settling my little boy into his new setting, all of your efforts do not go missed.

Our little boy has loved going to nursery here. He is well looked after and cared for by the staff, especially his key worker. He really loves the range of activities he can do and they also do theme related things such as the King's Coronation. There is a wide range of food provided and our son loves
and eats it all. There is an app where you are updated throughout the day on his sleeps, food and photos.

My daughter loves going to nursery here. The staff are friendly and attentive. She is in the baby room still and the room manager is fantastic; professional, respectful and takes time to chat to us at the start and end of each day. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds from attending this nursery.

It is difficult to find words adequate to express how much we recommend Busy Bees, Thurstaston. Our daughter has been attending for almost a year and has made incredible progress. She comes home singing songs she's learnt, identifying words, numbers and colours. Her daily activities are varied and engaging
and I know she is in the best possible hands. Most importantly, she is excited to get ready in the morning, as soon as we say she is going to see one particular member of staff, so is obviously happy to go.
We love to see the updates during her day, especially the photos. All the team are so helpful and kind, but I have to say a special mention to one staff member in particular. You are so wonderful to our daughter and have an amazing bond with her. You show how much you care and we are immensely grateful to you.

I was so anxious starting nursery, but my son has really settled in the baby room and that is down to the amazing staff. Two of the staff members have both made so much effort to get to know him and make the transition as easy as it can be. My son is developing so much and growing in confidence each
week. He has such a great relationship with his key worker, which is great and puts me at ease. They keep me well informed on his day and I love the photo updates and the artwork that comes home! If I ever have any questions, the manager is always really helpful and responds quickly. I couldn't fault our experience so far. Thank you!

Both my children attend at this nursery and they love it so much, as do we! Staff always welcome them both in and they literally run in, as they are happy to be there. Our daughter is in the babies/toddler room, her key worker is fantastic, as are three other staff members and the room leader. Although
we miss her, we know she is having lots of fun and is very well looked after. We get a full rundown of activities and how she has eaten and drank. Our son is in the tweenies room and loves nursery and talks about it constantly at home! Four staff members, in particular, are all we hear about at home. Our son never wants to leave to come home and loves being in nursery. Again, he is greeted warmly and we always get a full rundown of his time spent there. Special mention to the chef, our kids love all the food that is served. I can't thank all the staff enough. We feel very reassured, knowing they are in such good hands.

My daughter attends this nursery and loves it. She has a fantastic relationship with her key worker, other staff are also enthusiastic and show lots of interest in what we have been up to at the weekends. The management team are also very friendly and approachable, they are always on hand to help with

Thanks to all the staff at Busy Bees, Thurstaston for the care, support and guidance you've given my son since he started, two years ago. All the staff take a special interest in how my son is getting on and the things he has been up to, outside of nursery too. He is always greeted with a big smile
and warm welcome in the morning at drop-off. He is animated when talking about the things he's done throughout the day. Special mention to all the staff in the preschool room, but three in particular. You have all supported my son's transition to preschool and he loves all the activities you do. When we've had a tough morning, you're all always there to support my son to have a positive day and two other staff members who always make me and my family feel so welcome in the nursery. Their excitement and bubbly personalities are infectious. The enthusiasm and care they have for the children they look after, is evident.

Amazing, friendly staff, who are great with my little boy. They always engage him in lots of fun activities and he has developed massively since joining Busy Bees. Could not ask for more from the nursery. Friendly staff and my daughter loves coming here. With my daughter having a food allergy, myself and her mum are very careful with what we give her and when we told the nursery, they were very understanding and have been so helpful and careful, ensuring that
she can have a healthy and varied diet without myself and her mum worrying that she will have a reaction.

Our daughter started in the baby room and quickly settled in. We felt very secure in the fact she was happy and enjoying nursery. As she was a lockdown baby, her interactions had been somewhat limited. When moving to bombos room, she very quickly grew strong attachments to two members of staff in particular,
which we loved. One member of staff has since moved to the preschool room, but always makes the effort to see our daughter and chats with us still. Our daughter's key worker now is lovely, she relays the day and keeps us updated with what our daughter has been up to and always has a smile. She makes references to our other children, which is lovely. We're very happy with the progress she's making and can't thank the girls enough! It's a tough job and we appreciate them greatly.

I've had two of my boys go to this nursery, both since they turned one. My eldest was in all the tooms and since left, my second is two and is in tweenies. They both love nursery and I've never had a day where they didn't want to go. The rooms are large and full of fun and safe things for them to play
with. They get a large range of foods, things they've never tried with me. I get regular updates on the app and love seeing what they've been up to. Staff are lovely and really kind. They have male staff which I think is great to see for my boys to know that a care setting is for everyone.

Staff have been looking after my daughter since she was in the baby room, so it was lovely for her to have the continuity as a lockdown baby to have someone in the toddler room who had been with her from the start. I love how staff say different things about my child to any other child being collected
(as well as what the children have been doing that day) which shows that she is really interested in each child as an individual. My daughter is so excited to go into nursery and the updates that they put on the app are frequent and really give me a flavour of the activities that my daughter does there, from art and painting, to cooking, to sensory play. The staff are really responsive to your wishes as a parent, for example, reducing nap times, and I can imagine that any issue could be approached collaboratively with them. The food is excellent at the nursery, so much so that it reassures me my daughter is eating well even when she won’t eat at home!
