Busy Bees Thurstaston Nursery offers children a fun and stimulating environment in which to learn. Nestled in leafy surroundings, the setting lends itself well to the nursery's ethos of first-hand experiences through outdoor play. The nursery is purpose-built and specifically designed to provide a nurturing learning environment. The setting is safe and secure, with CCTV in operation throughout the building.

The nursery boasts its own off-site Forest School offering children the invaluable opportunity to explore their imaginations and interact with the natural world, boosting their powers of observation and their self-confidence as they learn new things.

The unrivalled Pre-school for children aged 3-5 offers a rich, action-packed curriculum which includes daily phonic sessions and exercise classes, run alongside the EYFS curriculum. Every effort is made to inspire the children to initiate their own learning and encourage independence in readiness for school life.

A menu of freshly prepared, natural and tasty food is provided daily by all of the nurseries.

My niece started here a couple of months ago and I’m impressed with how she settled in so quickly. She is so happy in the mornings to see her key worker which makes handovers so easy. We get lovely feedback throughout the day and at the end of the day at collection time!

My daughter started in August 2021 at the age of six months and she’s settled in so well! She absolutely loves going to Busy Bees to see the staff! I have no worries when she’s there as I know she’s in safe hands, lovely staff!

We would like to give a special mention to the certain member of staff in the baby room and the staff in the toddler room. Our daughter has recently changed rooms and the care and attention she has been given in both rooms is outstanding. Thank you girls for looking after her for us.

We absolutely love Busy Bees Thurstaston! The whole team are so welcoming and really bends over backwards to make you feel welcomed and every need met for your child. We could not be happier with our daughter's key worker, she is so friendly and really encourages our daughter to come out of her shell.
Any request I have asked if she could work on with my daughter has not only been met but succeeded in a superior time frame. The outdoor space is one of the largest I've seen of all the childcare provisions we have visited. I can't wait for our youngest daughter to join Busy Bees next year too!

We have been very impressed with Thurstaston Busy Bees who have taken so much care to help settle our daughter into nursery. She loves all the staff with special thanks to her key-worker, who has spent time really getting to know our daughter and has helped her to develop in so many ways! Our daughter
loves the food served there, it is so reassuring to know that every day she is happily eating a healthy meal. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to others.

My son started nursery for the first time, in the baby room this month and had immediately settled in amazingly. He's so happy when he gets to nursery in the mornings and immediately wants a cuddle from his key person. He's super happy when I pick him up and has obviously really enjoyed his day there.
Has stopped me from worrying at all.

We have used this nursery for our 2 children over the last four years. We have found the staff to be friendly and committed and the activities varied.
The staff worked throughout the pandemic providing keyworker provision which was very much appreciated.
The menu and variety of food is excellent
and it is reassuring to know that your child has had hot and healthy food. It’s magic that they even eat things at nursery that they would not touch at home !!
We have not had any problems with the nursery over the four years we have used them and would recommend.

This nursery is absolutely amazing and has made my return to work so much easier! All the staff are so, so lovely and I get updates of my little boy throughout the day on my app! He’s so happy at nursery doing different activities, going out in the garden and has come on so much since being there. I

My little boy joined Busy Bees at Irby late last year and after a slightly tricky transition, he now absolutely loves the places and strolls into his room confidently. Over the weeks in which he was settling in, two members of staff were fantastic with both him and me and did all that they could to
put our mind at ease and sure enough, they were right, tears in the morning were soon replaced with waves goodbye. Since then, we have seen huge leaps in his independence levels and his communication skills, brought on by the time they have spent time getting to know him and with the activities they do with the children. I couldn't rate them both and the wider team that supports the baby room highly enough.

Our eldest left Busy Bees at Irby last year to go to school, having joined when he was nearly three as we’d moved house. I was worried about him changing nursery at this age but he was settled in after his first day and absolutely loved it! He also came on so well developmentally and I give the Tweenies
room at least 80% credit for his potty training! Our one year old now attends the baby room and he’s so happy there. He gives two members of the staff the biggest cuddles when he arrives and when I pick him up at the end of the day he’s always happily playing! He seems to have formed a really nice bond with the staff and we regularly notice little things he’s learnt which we’ve definitely not taught him! The staff have been great throughout all the challenges with Covid-19, so a massive thanks for all they’ve done!

The girls at Busy Bees at Irby are fantastic. My daughter runs into nursery every day with a massive smile on her face. The office are always on hand to help with any enquiries. I get an amazing handover at the end of the day from her team leader who tells me all the lovely activities they have done
that day! Can’t recommend enough!

We are extremely happy with Busy Bees at Irby. Our little girl joined here when she was two and all the staff, especially in the Tweenies Room, made her feel really welcome and helped her to happily settle in. My daughter loves going to nursery and always tells us she has had a fun day. Everyone we

My daughter loves going to nursery, she has been going for two days a week for about six months and she has come on leaps and bounds in that time. My daughter has been attending Daisy & Jake in Thurstaston since she was 7 months old, she is now 3 yrars old and has just started in their pre-school room. Staff are all lovely, my daughter has always been happy going into nursery and has lots of fun each day. Nursery rooms are modern and clean and
the outside area is nice too. Fresh home-cooked meals made on-site each day and there is always a varied menu. Online app is used to communicate with parents and share observations. The nursery feels very safe during the Covid pandemic
