Busy Bees is a very friendly and well run day nursery. Since my daughter began in baby room (she is now in toddler room) we have always felt very happy and comfortable. The staff are brilliant and really care about the children. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has been in Busy Bees for just over a year now, the difference in him is amazing. He has autism and could bearly speak a single word when he started. Now he has about 30 words and is beginning to sing songs.
The staff are fantastic. It's a fantastic nursery.

A lovely, friendly and caring place which is like a home from home and I have no hesitation leaving my son there as I know he is in safe hands. He loves being there as they have lovely gardens for the children to play in and plenty of activities inside to keep them entertained. They are given healthy
well-balanced meals and the care provided to the children when they are poorly is second to none. 10/10 for Busy Bees in Bromborough.

Since starting at Busy Bees our son has thrived. Every morning he runs in, excited to be there and loves all of the staff (even the ones that are not in his room). He has developed in all aspects of his learning both educationally and socially and is exceeding his developmental milestones. As parents,
we worried that he would get upset when we started to leave him on a morning, but soon learned that we were cramping his style, and he wanted us to leave quickly so he could get on with having lots of fun!
The staff at Busy Bees are excellent. Nothing is a problem for them. If ever our son has been a little off colour, they have been more than happy for us to call and check how he is during the sessions. They always make time to answer any questions, are approachable if we have any concerns. The management know all of the children and parents by name, and are often seen playing with the children in the rooms.
Choosing Busy Bees was the best thing that we could have done.

Not many establishments can truly say that they are an "extension" to your home...well, Busy Bees Bromborough most definitely can!!! My son attended there since he was 8 months old and only left as he started primary school in September. Being an Educational Psychologist, I had my "critical hat on"
when choosing an appropriate nursery for my son. As you may know, babies who are stimulated by their environments reach developmental milestones faster; have better coordination and a more secure self-image.
I didn't have to look any further. This nursery is inviting, warm, clean, stimulating, genuine and a happy place. I am forever grateful for the level of care, stimulation, nurturing and love my son has been fortunate enough to experience during his time at Busy Bees. In fact, I have taken my son back for a couple of days during half-term and the smile on his face at the end of the day, says it all! I warmly invite you to pay them a visit soon. Enjoy it.

From the very beginning, my little girl has been extremely happy at this nursery. She has thrived in the environment that they create there and it's very much about each and every one of the kids and they are not just a number. She has become confident, friendly, fantastic at counting, reading, interaction
and trying different foods that are provided for them. She also has made friendships with not just the other children but with the staff and managers as well. I have done and will continue to recommend Busy Bees - Bromborough highly as it's been the best start for my little girl in leading up to her going to school next year.

Current Review Score: 9.0 (9.021)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.0 (9.021) out of 10 for Busy Bees Bromborough is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 10 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.692 for Busy Bees Bromborough is calculated as follows: ( (101 Excellents x 5) + (7 Goods x 4) + (7 Satisfactorys x 3) + (4 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 120 Ratings = 4.692

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.329 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Bromborough is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 105 number of registered child places is 21. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 21 = 0.429

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
