Bright Horizons Warrington Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years in a beautiful setting at the David Lloyd Club in Great Sankey, near Warrington.

Situated entirely on the ground floor, their nursery offers easy accessibility for everyone. Children over 1 year old have the opportunity to explore and play in their secure and inviting garden daily. As part of the David Lloyd Centre, they have exclusive access to their dance studio and tennis courts for a variety of extracurricular activities.

Their preschool room is equipped with modern technology, such as an interactive whiteboard and a touchscreen computer, enhancing the learning experience. To ease the transition, they offer up to 8 weeks of settling-in sessions before your child officially starts, helping to establish a strong connection between your child, their key person, and you.

My children love nursery the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to make the children settle quickly. They have a wide range of activities and have a good structure to their day so the children get into a routine. My children are always rewarded for good behaviour and work and are encouraged
to learn.

The staff are very caring of both the children and parents. Dropping my son of on a morning he is often emotional. He settles quickly and the staff are fantastic at taking care and distracting him. They also make sure I'm ok before I go which is lovely. The children really enjoy nursery when they are
there and they learn so much. My son has been recognising days of the week and my daughter is singing songs with actions. My daughter has become independent with feeding and at meal times now insists on doing it herself, all thanks to the nursery. I really feel that it's an important part of their week and they get wealth of stimulation and learning that I could not provide at home. I'm grateful for their care and the staff are amazing.

Hello, my name is Becky the Nursery Manager.


I have worked in Early Years for 20 years since achieving a level 3 childcare qualification in Early Years. Throughout the years, I have gained experience in several roles and completed further qualifications such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management, BA Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. With over 10 years of experience as a manager, I am caring, compassionate, and always supportive of my team and parents to ensure we provide the best care for all children and parents.


I am passionate about high-quality care and children’s learning and development and am keen to ensure that all children reach their full potential through purposeful learning experiences. I aim to use my experience and knowledge gained from higher-level qualifications to coach and mentor team members, supporting them to be the best early years practitioners that they can be.


In my spare time, I enjoy family time and days out with my husband and young daughter, Rosie.


I am really looking forward to meeting you and your family and getting to know all the wonderful children and families who attend the setting.

I have worked in a variety of childcare settings since 2003, I first started as a nursery assistant whilst studying for my NVQL3 in Childcare in the Early Years and gradually progressed over the years to become Deputy Manager.


I have completed lots of additional training to support me in my role including Designated Safeguarding lead and Level 2 Awareness of mental health in children and adults.


I have worked for Bright Horizons previously, I had such a lovely experience and I am so happy to be returning to the Warrington nursery. I am passionate about giving each and every child the best possible start in life at the nursery, by providing exciting and engaging learning opportunities.


I am really looking forward to working with Emma and the Warrington and getting to know all our wonderful families.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.


I also enjoy taking my two pet dogs for walks around my local area and visiting new places.
