Situated in the leafy village of Spurstow, Partou Brambley Hedge Day Nursery and Pre-school is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated setting (May 2022), providing exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set within beautiful rural surroundings and has an acre of grassy adventure gardens. Older children are free to explore a fabulous green space with exciting resources including sensory gardens, climbing frames and garden kitchens, whilst babies have access to their very own magical garden.

Children at the setting also enjoy plenty of extra-curricular activities including music, dance, forest school classes and foreign languages. Parents can keep track of their child’s activities and development using the nursery’s online learning journal.

Delicious, nutritious meals and snacks are freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen, providing children with a balanced diet bursting with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish.

My 14-month-old has recently started coming to the nursery. He is a ‘Covid’ baby so therefore not used to seeing many other people. We tried a few other childcare options before finally finding Brambley Hedge Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tarporley. We were so impressed with how well he has settled
in. The staff have made a real effort to make him feel secure and to ensure that he settled quickly. It feels like such a personal service and he has already formed such a bond with one of the staff members there. I would highly recommend Bramley Hedge, especially if you have a child/ baby who has had limited socialisation due to the pandemic. I am amazed at the progress my son has made in such a short space of time.

My daughter really enjoys coming to pre-school. There are adventures every day. We love that there is so much outdoor space and the children spend so much time outside - whatever the weather. We feel that there is a good balance between care and education. Would highly recommend.

We can't thank the staff enough at the nursery, we had a hard time in our son adjusting and they welcomed him every morning and made him feel at home. The nursery and staff as a whole had helped him with his eating, speech and most recently have been teaching the children sign language which has learnt
very quickly. We have been very impressed with how much outside activity they gave the children and our son very much is in his element when playing out in the nursery gardens. The interaction that the nursery gives the children is brilliant, we can't thank them enough and their amazing care is clear to see simply by looking at our son's progression since he started at Brambley Hedge. Thanks girls, for all your support.

We cannot praise this nursery enough and we are so happy that we chose Brambley Hedge for our daughter!
From day one we have felt like part of the Brambley Hedge family and this is reflected in how happy and settled our daughter is. She absolutely loves coming to nursery and seeing her friends and
the staff. As a result, our daughter has developed into a confident, happy and independent little girl.
The contact between nursery and parents is fantastic and we leave every day knowing the activities that our daughter took part in (also give us great ideas of things to do at home!), the amazing food that she has eaten and the developments that she has made.
We cannot thank the staff enough for everything that they have done. We know that our daughter has had the best start to her education and this is down to everything that they do at Brambley Hedge.
I can not put into words how much I recommend this nursery; it's the best decision we made!

We cannot praise this nursery enough. Our 3 and 4-year-old girls have progressed up from toddler room to preschool and the team is like part of their family now. They have been a fantastic resource for me as I completed my chemo and undergo monthly checks and scans. Nothing is too much trouble and the
team are truly fantastic at taking care of the children. We have not had one single issue and have watched our 4-year-old gain confidence, both children were toilet trained under their watchful eye. They help me with all my parenting issues from foods to sleep patterns and behaviour and they now feel like an extension to family.
I trust Brambley Hedge implicitly with our noisy, crazy, beautiful little cherubs but their own excitement about coming to nursery says it loudest of all. They would come 7 days a week if I’d let them.
Unique points: superb facilities which split the children by age.
Beautiful outdoor and indoor playing areas and hugely encouraged imagination play.
Excellent food cooked fresh.

The facilities and outside space are fantastic, the gardens and time spent outside are the reasons we chose Brambley Hedge. We were disappointed when it lost two key members of staff, both of which went above and beyond.

My little boy has settled really well here and seems very happy. They do lots of lovely baby craft, especially for special occasions. The staff in baby room are always happy to see him and make an effort when welcoming him to the room each morning. They genuinely seem to care about his wellbeing.

Lovely nursery with upbeat staff who the children adore. Safe environment for play indoors and outdoors with a great garden for toddlers away from the bigger children.

A friendly, intimate nursery with colleagues that become friends as well as carers for your precious little ones. I have two daughters at the nursery, one who likes mud pies, painting, getting messy and generally organising everyone and the other who is just starting to talk. Both are happy and smiling,
enjoying every day at nursery. Thank you to everyone, a little family away from home.

Our daughter has been at Brambley Hedge for around three months now and she absolutely loves it! The staff really helped her to settle in.

I always feel happy when leaving my little boy here as he is happy, the environment is fantastic for learning in with an amazing outdoor space which my son loves!. All the staff are great and very supportive and nothing is to much trouble. Highly recommendable!

I have always felt happy leaving my daughter at Brambley Hedge, I know she is well cared for and that there is lots to keep her entertained.
The settling in process was thorough and given importance, and I felt like my preferences and ideas were valued and listened to.

Brambley Hedge is a very good nursery. Staff are all friendly and our daughters like them. Good facilities, our daughters are learning and enjoying doing all of the activities that are on offer. Our only issue is that we have to pay for Bank Holidays and no other free days are offered to compensate.
We feel it’s unfair to pay the full amount for planned holidays when we give the nursery plenty of notice.

All the staff at Brambley Hedge are so friendly, welcoming and approachable. My child thoroughly enjoys nursery and feels at home when he's there. I feel listened to in regards to my child and the communication between parent and nursery is very good.


I also believe that nursery takes part in lots

of events and incorporates the children, for example, World Book Day, Children in Need, special celebrations etc and this is fantastic for the children's learning. Thank you.
