Set in an Edwardian house, in the heart of Hale’s conservation area, their child-led active learning environment stimulates little imaginations. Extensive play resources excite and inspire children to play and learn together or independently with an abundance of adventures and experiences.
There is a large garden which enables lots of outdoor opportunities and the countryside is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Broussa nurtures the children with creativity to grow and adapt. Their curriculum is developed by qualified early years’ teachers following the EYFS framework. There is also a highly qualified team using creative approaches to develop key skills working towards school readiness.

Adapting to new settings can be challenging and the team offer incredible warmth and understanding to the little ones and their families. Parents are also closely involved with daily updates from their child’s key worker via the Tapestry app.

The children’s award-winning food is prepared using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and all menus are approved by a registered dietitian. In 2020 they were shortlisted finalists by Nursery World for their National Nursery Food award.

Broussa is a wonderful nursery, with supportive, nurturing staff, great activities for the childen and a very welcoming environment. Our son has been very happy there, and has really blossomed in the time he has been at the nursery.

My first son has been at Broussa from August 2020 and is just about to leave for school, my second started September 2022 and will be there until he starts school.
I could not recommend this nursery more highly. The manager is incredible, she knows every single child and parent and it is clear how
much she cares and this is clearly passed on to every single other member of staff and they are all excellent.
The preschool teacher is also amazing.
An incredible nursery that really does give children the best possible start in the early years.
Fab outdoor area and garden, forest school is great, the activities are varied, interesting and educational. My son has learnt so much about nature.
I could go on but I will run out of space.

I challenge you to find a better nursery for your child! As a family, we cannot rate Broussa Day Nursery & Nursery School highly enough. I always thought I'd never find a nursery that could look after my children as well as me - I was wrong - Broussa can and do! They go above and beyond all expectations
without a second thought. Every single member of staff knows my children by name and knows their personalities (they know us as parents too!). They are happy children with beaming smiles that talk about nursery all the time, to anyone that will listen! Not only is the care of the children exceptional but the development strategies they have effortlessly in place are very impressive. Communication about absolutely everything is clear and you can tell that all staff genuinely care about our children. They have been an integral part of our children's education and I'm not looking forward to them leaving for school, we will miss them all terribly!

Both our little boys go to Broussa Day Nursery & Nursery School and they absolutely love it!
Everyone that works there is incredibly kind and professional. With our eldest, we had concerns with his development and they were very empathetic and supportive to him and us. The management, in particular,
has gone above and beyond with appropriating one-on-one support, as well as providing us with plenty of information and guidance. They truly care for our little boys and I know when we drop them off they are in exceptionally good hands. We will be very sad when our eldest leaves for school.
This nursery and the girls that have cared for our babies have a very special place in our hearts.

Fabulous nursery, my son loves coming and his development has come on so much since he started. He loves their great healthy meals and has built good relationships with the practitioners. I know he is happy and having a lovely time as they share pictures on his online journal and they tell me everything
about his day when I collect him.

The team at Broussa Day Nursery are like one big family. My son has been at Broussa from the age of one and is now two and a half and is thriving loving life in the Bear room. He runs in and gets big cuddles from the bear team and then gets stuck in playing and learning. The weekly menu has given him
a great taste for all different foods so much so my cooking isn’t good enough haha

Broussa is an excellent nursery. My child joined when she was three years old and has thrived, becoming more confident. The quality of the activities and learning is excellent. My daughter is leaving this year to start school in September and recognised letters, numbers and is starting to read. The
team are amazing and can't do enough. Highly professional and considerate. I genuinely will be sad when we leave in the next few weeks but know that my daughter has been given the best start before school. Thank you, team Broussa!

Our little girl has attended Broussa since the age of six months. She is now ready to attend school full-time from September. We cannot speak highly enough about the Broussa team, from the key workers in each room to the teaching and educational focus, the fun, the opportunities, the care and attention
and everything achieved with a complete and unwavering focus on your child. Our little one has flourished and is completely ready for the next chapter. The environment is super, the creche is expertly run, and communication with parents is excellent. Broussa has simply been an extended part of our little family in the last four years. We can't thank them enough!

Our daughter joined Broussa when she was 8 months old, whilst we still had a nanny. We very quickly realised that nursery was the much better all-round option for us as a busy working family and she quickly moved to full-time. We can't rate the staff highly enough for the diligence, care, support and
love they have shown our daughter during the past four years. It has been exemplary. She has flourished in the nursery and we have no worries whatsoever with her starting school in September.
Broussa have helped us overcome some listening and behavioural issues during the 'terrible two's' and have supported us through a separation, which we can't thank them enough for. The nursery manager is superb and she takes time to get to know each child individually. The grounds and garden are beautiful, clean and offer a perfect outdoor space for all the children, rain or shine. We would recommend Broussa to any family and we will thoroughly miss everyone there!

I love the nursery. My daughter is looked after by the team as if she is part of the family. They put so much effort in, to choose the activities and take the babies on trips. The updates are fantastic and all the babies always look so happy. The team are always in a good mood, positive and encouraging
of my child's development and have taught her so many skills.

Broussa team have been doing an amazing job with my child’s progress, care and support. My kid is now well settled within 2-3weeks and wants to go to nursery every day. They give so much care, importance to each child and are also precise on

My son has attended Broussa from 9 months old all the way to starting school. I would definitely recommend it to others. We have formed strong relationships with staff and management who work so hard to nurture those relationships and to ensure the children are happy there. The quality of learning is
very high, especially at preschool, this along with the recourses available has given my son a great appetite for knowledge. The food at Boussa is also exceptional. We've never experienced any problems and my son will leave with very happy memories.

I cannot recommend Broussa enough. The team are amazing and make your child feel like part of the family. They truly put your mind at rest that your child is being looked after amazingly. The attention they give and care is truly amazing.

What can I say about Broussa? Our little boy has only been going for a couple of months and what an incredibly positive, exciting and welcoming experience it's been for all of us. From minute one of enquiring about places, I felt that the managers and all the team genuinely cared about all of us.
They were interested in us as a family, no question was too ridiculous and we immediately felt at ease when we looked around.
It was the easiest decision we've had to make since our son was born. The second I walked through the door I knew he would go there.
And since he started - wow! his key person, along with all the amazing team have nurtured him, cared for him, helped him develop in all aspects of his life in such a short space of time - and critically, have been there for us as his parents too. So supportive, so understanding, we feel truly blessed to have secured a place for our son there.


I literally can not say enough good things about this wonderful nursery!

A wonderful nursery full of caring, attentive, happy staff. The environments are stimulating and inviting. Since my daughter started at Broussa in November 2020 the whole of team has made us feel so welcome and have been so kind not only to me but my daughter too and making her feel welcome every morning and evening when I drop off and pick up. She always comes home telling me all about her exciting day

Both my children have attended here, I feel very happy and confident with the care they provide. My sons have come out happy and developed. Very impressed with the professionalism of the staff, they get to know each child even if they aren’t in the same class.
I attended Broussa myself many years
ago when it was a private independent nursery, so I feel I have a connection and Elmscot doesn’t let the reputation down, especially the deputy manager, always very attentive and helpful.
5 stars!
