Set in an Edwardian house, in the heart of Hale’s conservation area, their child-led active learning environment stimulates little imaginations. Extensive play resources excite and inspire children to play and learn together or independently with an abundance of adventures and experiences.
There is a large garden which enables lots of outdoor opportunities and the countryside is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Broussa nurtures the children with creativity to grow and adapt. Their curriculum is developed by qualified early years’ teachers following the EYFS framework. There is also a highly qualified team using creative approaches to develop key skills working towards school readiness.

Adapting to new settings can be challenging and the team offer incredible warmth and understanding to the little ones and their families. Parents are also closely involved with daily updates from their child’s key worker via the Tapestry app.

The children’s award-winning food is prepared using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and all menus are approved by a registered dietitian. In 2020 they were shortlisted finalists by Nursery World for their National Nursery Food award.

We were extremely anxious about our child starting and settling at Broussa especially given the circumstances surrounding Covid. However, we have had a wonderful experience with this nursery. Every member of staff we have come into contact with has been helpful, reassuring, positive and friendly. Nothing
is ever too much trouble for the staff and they are prompt to respond to all queries and phone calls. Our favourite aspect of the provision is the fact that our child is so happy during his time at nursery. We really feel like the staff that care for him look after him as if he were their own child and they go out of their way to provide activities to suit his little character and needs. Thank you for easing our worries and making this experience such a positive one.

Our daughter has been attending Broussa from being 9 months and we are only moving due to a house move. She was extremely unsettled at first, however the staff all worked very hard to make sure she was happy and comfortable when we left her. Since moving to the toddler room the change in her has been
amazing. Her development in the space of 6 months has been wonderful and I do think that has a lot to do with the interaction and great activities the staff plan for the children.
We have had a few issues with regards to our house move, and the nursery have been more than supportive, which really has gone a long way in helping us as a family. We are really sad to be saying goodbye.

Broussa is an amazing nursery, my son has been there since he was one (and is nearly four). He has always been really well cared for and very happy. It's a nurturing environment, the staff and management are great and extremely approachable. The nursery has really inspired my son's learning through
songs, games, activities, exercise, all sorts of different activities. Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

I have wanted to write a review for some time now just to express how grateful I am to all the nursery staff at Broussa that care for my little boy while I am at work.
The staff are all a reflection of the nursery manager, kind, caring, nurturing and most importantly fun. They genuinely feel like
extended family and they have created a second home for my son to grow and develop. They truly care about him and about helping to develop his little mind. My son’s key worker has such a special gift with children. She just knows how to make the kids feel calm, safe and loved. That is massively important to me. Not only do the staff do a great job at caring and developing my son but they are always there to talk through any issues I may be having with him and to give advice. The managers are all very present and are around all the time in all the rooms - they know all the children and parents. It feels like a family of very well trained staff that all genuinely care.

I have really been pleased with the standards, facilities and care by the staff towards the child. My daughter really started enjoying the nursery but as I am expecting my second child in 3 weeks time we will be going away for a while that's the reason I am taking her out of nursery but once back I
will be enrolling her straight away.
The staff are really friendly and the key person gives a daily sheet letting you know about their day in nursery. The app is great. Staff are really friendly and approachable.

I honestly cannot speak highly enough of Broussa and all the team. My daughter is so happy there and has been from day one. She has loved every room and all the staff. The range of activities is fantastic and I love the fact that they get them all out in the garden as often as possible. I have found
everyone to be very supportive during a recent spell of ill health and genuinely feel like the staff are friends of mine. I have also had a lot of support with things like getting rid of dummies and potty training. It has certainly felt like a team effort! The setting is fantastic and the food is great. Tapestry is a brilliant tool that the nursery use to share updates about your child and parents can upload photos and videos too which is really nice. The staff are approachable and professional. My daughter has some health issues and this has been handled brilliantly by everyone at Broussa. We love it and more importantly, our daughter loves it!

Both my children have loved Elmscot Broussa Nursery as it’s a caring and nurturing nursery where they both settled in very quickly. The staff are extremely attentive and work very hard in supporting each child, helping to engage and develop their interests. We were very happy with the variety of activities,
both in and out of the nursery. Trips to the library and forest school are to name a few.

Both my children have attended Broussa nursery since January 2016 and we have been very impressed with the outstanding care received.
Not only does Broussa offer fantastic facilities and high levels of care across all ages but the staff are always so supportive and caring towards the children. They
provide tailored support for the child and ensure that there is continual communication between the nursery and the parents.
The nursery provides lots of extracurricular activities which enables a varied and innovative environment for the children and I have seen both my children thrive and develop whilst attending.
The staff are friendly, approachable and you can feel that the interest of the children is at the heart of the nursery.

We could not be happier with Broussa. My son has really thrived since he has started there, he has made some lovely friends and has a real bond with the staff. He has come on leaps and bounds with the support of the nursery.
We really love all of the different activities that he does on a daily basis
and the emphasis that is put on outdoor play. I feel really happy and content when I leave him knowing he is in really good hands.

We have been very pleased with the standard of care and support that our little boy has received whilst at Broussa. We have found the environment to be both stimulating and comfortable for him and staff have taken the time to get to know him and ensure that activities are relevant to him. Staff also
take time to learn about our family and activities that we do at home so that they can talk to him about this whilst he’s at nursery.
The garden and animals at the nursery are a real positive for our son, as he loves the outdoors and has gained a lot from this environment.
We have trust in the staff and have found them to be professional, yet friendly and caring.

I was really struggling to find a nursery for my daughter as I wanted somewhere that was a home from home. I believe it’s important for young children to feel secure and have fun when they are little.
After looking at several nurseries, my friend recommended Broussa as her twins had recently joined
and were really enjoying it.
After a tour and meeting with the staff and children, my husband and I were relieved we had found somewhere we could place our baby whilst we went back to concentrate on our careers.
The staff are extremely caring and provide so many different activities for the children to enjoy. My little girl loves Thursday Morning’s Pyjama Drama and is so excited when she sees the teacher. She has developed so much and has formed great relationships with the staff and her little friends.

We have used the nursery since 2018 when our daughter started at 5 months old. The staff are caring, have a positive attitude and kindness and this has not changed from the day we first visited the nursery. Each day, children and parents are greeted with smiles, children are welcomed and cuddled in
a caring manner on those days they don’t want to part from parents. Each child is treated as an individual and dealt with on this basis, each day my child has carried out a number of activities but with plenty of free time, mostly outside, which has increased her social skills and confidence. At the end of the day, we are always given feedback on what she has been doing and this is also written down to refer to if needed.

My daughter has attended this nursery for a year now. In that year, she has really developed her interactive skills through song and acting. I have been really pleased with her mentors and one lady, in particular, who was her mentor last term. She went above and beyond in all aspects to support my child
and me to understand what is the best way to help develop her skills. I really like the engagement with the daily update sheet you receive. Also, one thing I like is the nursery app this allows me to view what my daughter is doing through written and pictured reviews. Keep up the good work, all staff.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. I have two children with a small age gap and nothing is ever too much trouble from everyone. All the staff know who both my kids are even though they aren’t necessarily in their room yet. I feel really comfortable leaving my children here and they’ve both developed

We are absolutely delighted with the outstanding care given to our 2 children since joining Broussa Nursery 2 years ago. The staff are highly professional and exceptionally friendly and caring towards the children providing a top class service every day. The daily routine is full of educational activities
which are fun and child-centred and my children love going into the nursery to see what fun activities they will be involved with.
The Tapestry app means we have very regular contact between the nursery and home and is an excellent tool - my children actually request when they can add photos from home to discuss with their friends at circle time the next day.
The extra events put on for parents in terms of parents evenings, forest school taster sessions and workshops ranging from nutrition to behaviour support is excellent and a major attraction for parents.
I cannot recommend Broussa more highly! Thank you for everything you do for the children in your care.
