Chrysalis Day Nursery provide high quality learning for children aged three months to five years old.
The team of qualified and enthusiastic staff are committed to providing the best possible childcare; many staff members have worked there for over 15 years, something the nursery is very proud of.

The team pride themselves on providing a home from home, family environment where each child feels valued, welcome and secure, and can form a strong bond with their key person. The team have amazing relationships with all Chrysalis parents and love the feedback they receive from them about the nursery and the lovely staff - this can be seen by their review score of 10. To ensure effective communication between parents/carers and the nursery at all times, there is an open door policy in place.

Children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, communicate and interact with one another. The team believe that children learn through play and the nursery’s extensive curriculum enables children to reach their full potential. They offer a huge range of different activities, to promote all areas of learning, they always put the children first in everything they do and pride themselves on being the best.

The ladies at Chrysalis Day Nursery are friendly and approachable and always willing to help. They give great updates on your child's day at nursery and are a smiley face.
My child enjoys nursery and is beginning to say new words that he has learnt. The ladies have been very quick to resolve any issues/questions
we have had which is a lovely reassuring factor that in my opinion is necessary when sending your child to childcare.

What a lovely nursery! My daughter is 15 months old and has attended Chrysalis for the last 5 months in the baby room. She has bonded well with the lovely ladies in there and photos show her having lots of fun. The office ladies are always very friendly and accommodating and communication is second
to none! And my daughter thoroughly enjoys the yummy food cooked too! I would 100% recommend Chrysalis to anyone I speak to!

I couldn't praise this nursery enough. Everything they do for the kids is amazing. I always feel that they can't do enough, not only for myself as a parent but for my little girl. She's attended from around 6 months old and I couldn't be happier. The staff are amazing in every way and I couldn't ask
for more from them. Making the parent feel welcome as well as my child loving going daily, I couldn't ask for anything more. I've recommended the nursery to many colleagues and will continue doing so. Thank you to you all for everything you do.

Amazing place. I can't rate them highly enough. Safety, key workers, staff, and the environment are brilliant.
Attentive and you feel you and your child matter. I have seen positive development in my little girl and I felt supported throughout her settling-in period.

Both of my children have been at Chrysalis from the age of 10 months old. They are now 3 and 15 months. From day 1 of starting at Chrysalis every member of the team at the nursery has been a friendly and welcoming face in the morning. When you walk into the reception, it feels homely and welcoming.
My son has had difficulty with separation after being home with him more during my maternity with my daughter. However, the team worked with us and put in strategies at the nursery to help and support him attending nursery and within a few weeks, we had no issues getting him into nursery. We are forever grateful of the help and support they gave our family. There is never a dull day at Chrysalis! When I receive the notifications about what my son and daughter have been up to, it is full of activities many of which lots include outside play. We are very thankful to everyone at the nursery for providing care and opportunities for our children to thrive and flourish. You are a great team!

My little girl has started at Chrysalis Day Nursery in the past 4 weeks and she's only just turned 9 months old so a first-time mum having to go back to work and leaving her was daunting. The nursery have made me feel so much better about leaving her and going back to work and they are all so friendly
and the atmosphere in the nursery is just lovely. Such a lovely setting for my little girl to settle into. My little girl seems to be loving it, there's very little tears now when dropping her off and I get pictures of her seeing what activities she's up to with her friends. We get weekly newsletters and monthly ones to let us know what's going on in the month and they're always up to something! Never seems to be a dull moment. I'm very impressed with the nursery so far and I'm sure it will continue to be as outstanding as it is.

My little one has been going to Chrysalis Nursery from 10 months old, he's now 2 and a half, and we've absolutely loved every moment of him being there! He always goes in with a smile, no matter who is greeting us at the door! He loves all the ladies who have looked after him, and I have to say, every
single one of them are so lovely, always so helpful, very reassuring (when he first started) and always does lots of fun activities for the little ones! I'm so glad I chose this nursery for my little one's early development! Thank you so much Chrysalis!

I was a first-time mum and they were amazing with not only my son but me too, if I was ever unsure about something they were more than welcome to help me. The ladies are so lovely.

My daughter is in the baby room at Chrysalis and has been for the last 3/4 months. I chose this nursery because my son started during covid and he thrived from being there and ended his time them feeling confident, happy and ready to start school. He has currently started back at the nursery during
the school holidays at holiday club which is amazing. He was so happy to be happy and see all the ladies. He has a fun-filled time there
My daughter is loved, well looked after and full of smiles when she is there.
The time and effort thay go into the children is amazing, all the staff are always positive, have great relationships with the children.
This for any parent is key, knowing your child is in safe hands and this nursery is brilliant for that.
They provide freshly cooked food which goes down a treat with my daughter and it provides all the correct nutrition for the children.
This nursery is outstanding, I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

Our boy has been attending Chrysalis since he was 4 months old. The staff are fantastic with him. My child's development since he started has been phenomenal. Even things like weaning at 6 months have been great as the ladies at the nursery were able to guide us and help with that.
I personally feel
at ease knowing he is going to Chrysalis each day, he is safe and well looked after and he loves being there.

I have 2 children at Chrysalis, who love going in every morning and leave me without a backward glance if either need any reassurance staff are always quick to recognise and offer comfort, support and distraction. Recently been several changes made to the nursery in terms of equipment with a focus on
sensory/Montessori-type learning. The children play outside every day and learn about the world around them. There is a strong focus on emotional literacy, which has helped our sons learn about and manage the big feelings of toddlerdom and navigate friendships with a clear understanding of kindness, sharing and turn-taking. The introduction of school-type routines such as register, carpet time and lunch routines means that my preschool son is slowly and subtly being prepared for the transition to primary school. There has been a child-led approach to number and letter recognition which has allowed my son to begin to learn about literacy and numeracy in a way that builds confidence.

Chrysalis go above and beyond! My son started part-time when he was 5 months old. I was a very nervous mum and questioned if I should be returning to work so soon but the staff and management team have been beyond amazing. In the early days, I would call up to get an update - I might have even called
twice a day and they were so fab and reassuring. The management team would go down each time to check in on how he had been so they could give me an honest detailed update on mood/sleep/feeds etc. I know my son loves it there -he loves all the ladies who care for him. His face lights up when he sees them and now he is older he reaches over for hugs. I think the ladies in the butterfly room are fantastic - they have gone above and beyond what I think a nursery is there for - giving me tips for giving medication, confidence with weaning and ideas at home for weaning plus support for self-settling. I have been recommending Chrysalis to everyone- I think it is truly a hidden gem.

My 2-year-old has recently started at Chrysalis following a transition from another nursery which he was at since he was 1 year old. The management and staff have been amazing going above and beyond to make sure my son has settled in well (which has helped ease my mum guilt/anxiety about the move!).
Love the regular updates about the activities he is taking part in throughout the day, photos and also what/how well he has eaten. My son loves being outside and the kids get out most days regardless of the weather. I also look forward to and appreciate the handover info during pick-up. So far I have seen the nursery decorated for seasonal events (Christmas, Easter) which is very cute and lots of fun for the kids. Very homely feeling nursery and I’m happy with my decision to switch.

Cannot recommend Chrysalis Day Nursery enough. Their communication and knowledge/attention to detail of every single child is incredible.
I recently attended a stay-and-play morning that the nursery arranged and it was fantastic!
Our daughter loves going to nursery and tells us all about her day
as soon as she is home.
They update you every day via an app and are always on hand should you have any questions/want an update throughout the day.

I have two children at Chrysalis and I am more than pleased with the decision to use this nursery. One of my children attended another setting prior to starting at Chrysalis and the difference between the two nurseries was extremely apparent at the onset. I have had experience of my children being in
each room that the setting has to offer, at various different times and throughout their time in each of the rooms, my children have enjoyed themselves and flourished. The staff are both caring and professional, which is one aspect that I feel is crucial when entrusting them with your child’s daily care. There have been some positive changes recently since being under new management and I feel the nursery has gone from strength to strength. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chrysalis as a childcare provider.

The nursery feels like a home from home. My little one runs in without a second guess or look back at me, which is so reassuring as a parent. The staff are welcoming, they listen, give advice and show so much care with the children. I know he is always in great hands, safe and loved at Chrysalis.

A wonderful nursery! My son is tube fed and requires extra support during his time at nursery. I can't put into words how brilliant the staff have been. It's a lot to take on, but they have learnt everything they need to be able to care for my son. All of the ladies that have cared for my child have
been absolutely lovely. But when I first met one of the staff members in Caterpillars, I just instantly warmed to her and I think she was the perfect key worker for my son to start his nursery journey with. Moving up to his new room seemed such a big step, but he now loves shouting all the ladies names when he should be sleeping. One staff member in particular has definitely made an impression on my little boy. He's always excited to get out of the car and isn't very good at hiding his disappointment if it isn't her that answers the door. Whenever I see any of the ladies from the whole nursery, everybody seems to know my son and has something lovely to say, about our cheeky, happy boy, when passing.

This nursery is a breath of fresh air!
All the ladies that work here are fabulous; they genuinely care about each and every child that attends here.
Both my children attended this nursery. My daughter, who has now started school, barely spoke when she started nursery at two and a half years old, and
within weeks, her language skills flourished! My children made so many friends and couldn't stop talking about the ladies who looked after them. This nursery has its own in-house chef who creates some amazing meals for the children each day. I'm sad that my children have grown up and left the nursery because the love and care those ladies have for the children is remarkable! I would recommend this nursery 100% to anybody!

We have loved being part of the Chrysalis Day Nursery family! My twin boys developed so much during their time here and everyday they told me exciting stories of what they'd been up to all day... and how much lovely food they'd enjoyed! Having previously left a nursery environment we were unhappy with,
we felt welcomed from day one here and I always felt complete trust in the care of the staff. Now off to big school, we'll miss this nursery very much... and have only lovely things to say about it.

Our daughter has been going to Chrysalis full-time for just over three and a half years. She joined the cocoons class and it felt like she'd always been there in terms of fitting in. She has come on incredibly well during this time and there is no doubt the Chrysalis setting and staff have played a
major part in helping her become this wonderful and kind little girl. The app is brilliant, I've really enjoyed getting daily updates of their activities with photos, lots of variety. My daughter talks about individual members of staff as if they are family and you can see the staff have a great bond with her. They spend plenty of time outdoors and there are different activities everyday. The staff are friendly and always will give a update on our daughter at pickup. The nativity play was amazing and also the nursery graduation ceremony was fantastic! The meals prepared by the nursery chef are fantastic and our daughter absolutely enjoyed them. I would highly recommend this nursery.
