Busy Bees Chester Hopscotch offers a warm, welcoming environment where your child can learn, make new friends and thrive during their stay at nursery.

The nursery offers multiple rooms, all decorated to provide a calm and homely environment and equipped with exciting activities and fantastic learning resources to engage children and promote their development. Children also benefit from the Investigation Station where their creativity is encouraged. The team organise a range of activities in line with the EYFS curriculum so that your little one can learn whilst having fun.

There is a secure garden space where children are free to explore the outdoors and take safe risks on the obstacle course provided, whilst being supervised by the caring team.

To make parents' lives easier the nursery provides nappies and wipes at no cost. There is also an on-site chef who prepares delicious snacks, meals, and drinks for your little one, following the NHS-accredited menu and catering for all dietary needs.

With a fully qualified teacher who follows the EYFS curriculum your child will be fully supported throughout their development journey, to prepare them for the next key stage. You can trust that your child's learning and development is at the heart of everything the team do at the nursery.

Our daughter loves going to the nursery. She settled smoothly and her key worker is very caring. The online app gives us live updates, so we know how she spends her day in the nursery. The garden is amazing!

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees at Chester for over a year. She adores coming to preschool. Her key worker has a fantastic relationship with her and I can’t fault any of her work with my child. She has made so much progress since starting Busy Bees. She is always excited to go, she loves all
of the different activities she is able to do and experience new things. Busy Bees really has helped my child and they have also been brilliant with myself. They always communicate when necessary and help is always on hand if I’m not sure what needs to be done.

Our little boy is very happy at Busy Bees. The staff worked hard in the baby room to help him to settle and his transition to the bumbles 1 room was made smooth and the staff have always shown compassion. The care he receives feels very individual, and he has grown and developed so much since being
there. We love the updates we receive! The girls in bumbles are a credit to the nursery - their knowledge and expertise allows us to always feel at ease and we trust them completely. They are all so kind and caring within their role.

My daughter has just left Busy Bees after three and a half years there. She has enjoyed every minute! They have helped her to develop and learn, and she's now excited to start school. The staff at Chester have been fantastic - supportive, encouraging, caring, and fun! The facilities are great - most
of all the garden and outdoor spaces which both my children have enjoyed so much. Daily activities are varied educational and fun, and develop confidence and teamwork. The food is great - so healthy and fresh. The app is great for keeping us updated. I am so glad we chose this nursery for our family!

My daughter has being going to Busy Bees at Chester Hopscotch for over three years and she absolutely loves it. The standard of care and education is superb, the staff are absolutely fantastic and my daughter looks forward to attending every day. In fact she's disappointed when it gets to the weekend!
I would recommend this nursery to anyone in the Chester area.

My son has come on so much since starting this nursery. The staff have been wonderful with him bringing him out of his shell. His speech has come on and he socialises well due to being around other children. I would highly recommend this nursery for your child’s development.

Our daughter joined this nursery twenty months ago. She loves it. Staff are going above and beyond to help her enjoy her time. They have also helped us to face challenges at home throughout this period. The recent addition of the app is a bonus as we get updates on how she spends her day.

My son started in July 2020 during the pandemic which I was very worried about. The staff here have been nothing but amazing with settling in my son and easing my nerves. He looks forward to going every day! The nursery are fantastic with doing a range of activities and crafts. They also have amazing

Our daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery. Her key workers are fantastic and have really connected with her. We are kept updated throughout the day via the app and told what she has been up to with photos of activities. It's a lovely environment for children and our daughter is learning a
lot whilst having a lot of fun! We plan on sending our second daughter to this nursery later this year.

I just wanted to write something special about the Qualified Early Years Educator. She is the most amazing lady I have met. She's made such a difference to both of my son's lives. She's been so supportive and always suggests great ideas to help with family life at home. My 2 boys adore her, as do I
and my husband.

This is such a fantastic nursery. Both of my children have been going since they were 10 months old and they both absolutely love it!


The staff are lovely and so caring and they really take the time to get to know each child’s individual needs. They do this whilst still maintaining very high standards

of health and safety and professionalism. They always try to do fun and lively activities, as well as having external teachers come in to teach drama and music.


The four different rooms mean that you don’t get large age gaps between children in the same room and all resources and activities are specific to that age group. The outside space is fantastic, with a huge garden and lots of space to explore. All of the rooms are bright and encourage the children to explore for themselves. The pre-school room and outside space, in particular, could rival any Reception classroom and means my little boy is totally ready for school. He says “I love my teachers.”

Highly recommend Hopscotch nursery, both my children have attended this nursery since they were 9 months old. The staff offer a caring and friendly environment for the children, great facilities for the children particularly the outdoor space.

My daughter has attended for over 3 years. She started at the tender age of 1 and has continued all the way through until big school.
I chose Hopscotch because of the homely feel and the huge outdoor space. My daughter loves the big garden.
The staff have all been amazing. They are friendly and approachable
and willing to listen to anything you have to say. The nursery manager is brilliant at helping you with any queries you may have and nothing is too much trouble.
My little girl enjoys going to Hopscotch and we will be genuinely sad to say goodbye to everyone there.

My little one has been attending Hopscotch, Chester for a year now. She was 9 months when she started and right from day one, they have been really friendly and welcoming. Great settling in days at the start. The nursery facilities are fantastic, big rooms, very clean and fab outdoor area. The staff
are brilliant with the children and I know she will be looked after 100%. Looking at 2nd child starting there shortly!

From the moment I stepped into the Hopscotch nursery in Chester, I knew it was the perfect place for our little boy. The rooms are so bright and airy and the staff are incredible, I feel like I've known them ages - they are so so supportive and really take the time to get to know you and your little
one. My little boy did not take well to being left on his first settling in session, so whilst standing out in the corridor, whilst he got used to it, I was a blubbering mess, but the manageress was there with a supportive hug and chat. I was a wreck dropping him off on his first full day, but again there was the manager and her colleague with a hug and the right words. He had an absolute ball with activities including painting and a big long walk and some amazing home cooked fresh food. When I picked him up, we got a lovely piece of artwork detailing what he'd done on his first day with some pics. His keyworkers are amazing, along with everyone else. You couldn't ask for a better nursery.

Attending this nursery has helped my child develop a great amount and helped with confidence. The facilities are also very good. Amazing!! I tried my son at two different nurseries before here, but he just wouldn't settle. As soon as he came here he bonded with the lovely staff straight away! I have never seen nursery staff that are as great with the children as they are here. My son loves going to nursery now and has gained
so much confidence since being here. The nursery's garden is magical. I've never seen a garden like it, it has beautiful scenery, large space and lots of fun things for the children to do. The other children at the nursery are all happy and friendly, which says it all! From previous experience with other nurseries, the food menus for the children were always so boring and repetitive, but at Treetops there is so much new food on the menus, there is always something new every day and it is all homemade by their chef! My son is vegetarian and has lovely meals cooked for him. He refused to eat at his other nurseries but since he's been here he can't stop eating! I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!
