Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool is located on Tytherington Business Park.

The team of enthusiastic childcare professionals were proud to achieve a 'Good' rating in its Ofsted inspection in September 2016.

There is a broad range of facilities, from access to fields for outdoor teaching and rugby training sessions, to fully-equipped sensory rooms and music sessions by trained instructors.

The large outdoor play area offers a variety of activities and challenges for children of all ages, including a mud kitchen and large construction equipment.

Children from three-months, through toddler times to pre-school will find this nursery a stimulating and reassuring environment.

The unique 'Ready for School' programme, which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, prepares the children for their transition to school. The fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and baby formula.

Our son is coming to the end of their fun-filled time at Bright Horizons and will be starting school a more happy, confident boy. All the staff are friendly and caring and our lad loves the meals too! Although we have faced a few hurdles with his development, the team have communicated and acted exceptionally
to overcome them. Indeed, we’re now looking forward to sending our daughter here come September.

Our son is currently in preschool but has attended the nursery since he was a baby. We are so grateful to all of the staff for the love, care and support they have given him during his time here. Their communication is excellent and they have reached out to offer additional support and advice to help
him to reach his potential. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that he is as happy and confident as possible. The staff plan exciting activities for the children to take part in and tailor them to the children’s interests. Our son has learnt so much during his time attending. The facilities are fantastic and our little boy really enjoys the food too! We know that he will really miss the staff and children that make up such a wonderful preschool ‘family’, when it’s time for him to leave and start school in September. We are so glad that we chose Bright Horizons, Tytherington and feel confident leaving our baby girl in their very capable hands when she starts nursery here later this year.

I have my second child in baby room and have had my first child in all rooms.
Baby room manager is amazing, devoted to the children and her job. Has lots of time for the parents too.
Manager of the nursery is also amazing, helpful and great with the kids.


Lots of different activities arranged each

day to keep the children happy and to help their development.

My little boy has been going to Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 1, we only have a few more months left and he will be starting a new adventure at school. But his adventures at Bright Horizons Tytherington have made him the most confident, happy little boy ever! And

Our daughter loves her days at Bright Horizons, she always comes out telling us about all the fun she has had with her friend… and all the staff! My daughter loves coming here! Her keyworker is amazing with her and gives us so much detail on the app on what she gets up to. It's so nice to be able to drop her off without any tears as she is always happy to go in. Makes such a difference.
All the staff are really friendly and helpful.
So much
for them to explore inside and in the outside area, she never gets bored.
So pleased we chose this nursery.

Both of my children have just started at Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool after moving from another nursery in the area. From the start, the manager and her team have been very helpful and accommodating. We were made to feel welcome straight away when looking around the nursery.
All of the children were engaged, happy and thriving in the environment they provide. They made the process of joining very easy and their protocols for the safety of the children are excellent. Everything was explained to us and I felt very comfortable sending my children here. The app is brilliant. You know exactly what your child has been doing throughout the day, what they have eaten, when they have slept, nappy changes and get pictures of them too. Communication is excellent. The app can be used to send messages to parents and you are able to directly message the team should you have any questions. My children have only been here for a couple of weeks but I am so impressed already!

A wonderful nursery with such friendly and professional staff that just can’t do enough. We have been sending our son to Bright Horizons Tytherington for 2 years now and he loves it. He gets so excited when it’s a nursery day.


They do great learning activities with the children through interactive

play and create such a fun environment. The toys and activities are regularly rotated so there is always something new for them to explore.


We love the online app so we can see what he’s getting up to each day with photos and little captions.


We are so pleased we’ve found such a great nursery!

Bright Horizons staff are absolutely brilliant with kids. Very devoted to their work and caring for children. The ladies are in all different ages, which is great for little ones. They do have lots of different activities and messy plays. The nursery uses an app, which gives parents the chance to get
lots of pictures of their children, little videos and general, daily updates. Nursery nurses also always talk to parents when picking their children up.

My son absolutely loves Bright Horizons Tytherington. He is always asking if it is a nursery day so he can go.
The staff have all been brilliant throughout the pandemic and are always welcoming. The activities are engaging and my son enjoys joining in and playing with his friends. He also loves being
outside and the outdoor space at Tytherington has lots for him to do.
His key worker is great at pushing him and he likes to continue activities at home that they have been doing in nursery.

My daughter started here last year and I have nothing but positive comments. The staff are warm, passionate, kind and caring and always looking for ways to improve the already excellent setting. She has settled in incredibly well and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. She is always excited
to go to nursery and I have always felt at ease leaving her in very capable hands. Happy mummy and happy toddler!

We found Bright Horizons Tytherington to have a really positive vibe. It's spotless and has loads of activities from being active, creative, singing, reading etc. My son was born during the covid lockdown so wasn't used to interacting with adults or children. His keyworker has been amazing making him
feel happy and comfortable in a different environment and completely gets him. All the staff are friendly and kind so even the mention of a name brings a smile to my boy's face. The nursery caters, with no fuss, for any special dietary requirements and allows my son access to outside when he wants it. I've really noticed the positive difference in him, either through being brave on the slide or wanting to interact with others, we're really happy with the love, attention, and care that he gets.
Also, the app to see photos/videos and the stories of what he's been up to are the highlight of our day!
Bright Horizons Tytherington is a brilliant nursery with caring and supportive staff and great facilities.

Procedure in involving parents in nursery activities and keeping us up to date with our daughter's involvement. Provide support to the family for any questions outside of the nursery setting. Accommodating and lovely staff, very friendly. Our daughter loves coming to the nursery.

Really pleased with our nursery choice for our daughter. She has thrived so much since starting here - she is turning into a sociable confident little girl and loves going to nursery to see the staff and her friends. Staff are very approachable and experts at looking after children. Our daughter is
always talking about what so and so has been doing with her and it sounds really fun and educational! A home away from home. Lovely healthy meal choices and a good variety. Only wish we could afford to have her in nursery for more days!

My wife and I have always dropped our child off with confidence at Bright Horizons. The staff are friendly and confident, and quickly built a rapport with our child that makes it that little bit easier to say goodbye in the morning! The app has been a fantastic way to keep up to date with what our child
has been doing, and it is updated regularly. We are confident that our child's development is being nurtured.

Everyone has been so welcoming and reassuring from day one. The staff recognise the significance of leaving your little one for the first time and couldn't have been more empathetic. We love seeing what our son is up to on the nursery app - he's always smiling and having fun! It's lovely to see the

I have been working in childcare for 19 years, starting with the company in 1998. I joined as a Nursery Nurse and over time worked hard and became a Room Leader, shortly afterwards stepping into the deputy role, before moving on to be a Nursery Manager. I have been a Nursery Manager for 14 years and thoroughly enjoy my job role. I enjoy working as part of a team and inspiring my staff team. Looking after so many different families and over time becoming one big family. I love watching the children grow and develop and achieve their full potential and the journey that they make to prepare them for school.
