S4YC Ledsham Park day Nursery is the newest Nursery to join the S4YC group. All daily operations will continue

OfSted 2022 - 'Children arrive happy at the welcoming nursery, where staff greet them warmly at the door. Babies giggle with delight as staff enthusiastically sing their favourite songs with a selection of props and toys. Toddlers are delighted and show they feel secure as they take turns to select a song by eagerly choosing a picture.

Older children show great focus and are engaged as they explore the texture of mud in the outdoor area. They pour in water and mix the concoction. Children show perseverance in this challenging task, measuring out ingredients until the consistency is correct. They are challenged and show a positive can-do attitude to their learning. Children behave very well; they are kind and polite and offer support to one another. Staff use clear and consistent reminders, for example, for children to use their 'listening ears' and 'kind hands'.

This helps children to understand the high expectations staff have of them. This helps children to learn right from wrong. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, leaders have focused on developing children's personal and social skills. Staff ensure they build supportive relationships with all children. As a result, children show a real enthusiasm for learning as they explore their surroundings and environment with great confidence.'

Wonderful, wonderful nursery!
As a very hesitant first-time mum, I was extremely anxious about leaving my baby with anyone but Ledsham Nursery has been amazing in helping me let go and watch my child flourish. My baby girl has been going since January and has come on tremendously. She absolutely adores
all of the staff especially one of the ladies and the nursery manager. There was one point only the manager could get her to sleep with some warm cuddles! Sometimes when they hand her over to me to come home she cries to go back to them. It is such an amazing loving environment and I can honestly say that the staff adore the children. I wouldn't send her anywhere else, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being wonderful.

Wonderful friendly team. Feel happy in the knowledge that my child is well cared for and is having fun and learning whilst I’m working. The manager is so kind and caring and sets the tone for the nursery.

Both of my children have attended this nursery from the age of 12 months. They are now 2 and 4 years old. They both really enjoy their time at nursery, every morning they are greeted by a friendly, familiar face and they walk into nursery excited and happy. They have both flourished during their time
at nursery and this is largely due to the wonderful staff at the nursery - they are all so caring and kind, I feel they take a genuine interest in both my children's happiness and well-being as well as helping to ensure they reach all their developmental milestones. The nursery is excellent in their communication and engagement with parents. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Warm, welcoming staff. Innovative play is relevant to life events.
Ridiculous medication policy (have to collect child or no medicine given by the time you arrive to collect, the medicine has kicked in!).
Less food is given than in another nursery (after 11 am lunch, only a snack, which is often
soup to last until 6 pm).

Our son has been attending Ledsham Park Day Nursery for a while now after his previous nursery shut down with only a few days' notice. The manager and her team are amazing and were extremely welcoming. He has since moved rooms and is now in their preschool, and he loves it. I would recommend this nursery
to anyone who is looking for a warm, welcoming and caring team. I look forward to seeing our little boy grow as he gets ready for school.

I highly recommend Ledsham Park Day Nursery. Very helpful friendly staff brilliant with my son, he's been going to Ledsham Day for a while now, he's come on loads with his speech and mixing with children, more independent, he loves the staff, loves going, always has a smile on his face.

My little girl absolutely loves being at this nursery (she's currently in the pre-school room), she actually asks to go at the weekends!
The staff are lovely and I feel certain she is receiving the best care possible. This was reinforced during the recent pandemic we have faced where my daughter remained
throughout the majority of it - which was a weight off of our shoulders during such an unprecedented time.

Over the past two years my son has been attending the nursery and I can honestly say I wouldn't have put him in the care of another nursery. My son started in the baby room working his way up and has recently started in preschool. I couldn't fault the manager and her team one bit, they knew when he
was ready to move up rooms without any input from us and we have seen a positive impact in his development with each change. Recently there has been a change of management and this was seamless, we have been kept in the loop with all changes and the adaptations whether that be staffing, room or due to the current pandemic and I feel safe knowing that all precautions and government guidelines are followed. Keep up the good work guys, you are doing an incredible job looking after all of the little ones in your care!

I just want to thank the staff at Ledsham Park Day Nursery. They were absolutely wonderful and I can honestly say that having my daughter attend the school was a great decision. She is at the top of the class at her primary school and has been since day one. Nothing was too much trouble and she has
shown great confidence, because of the input from the girls. Her knowledge of phonics and numbers was excellent and she has excelled. Thanks to all at Ledsham Park Day Nursery!

We were stuck for childcare during lockdown, as our existing nursery closed. We contacted Ledsham and they went out of their way to support and accommodate us. Both my little girl, age 2 and my boy, age 3 settled in straight away as all the staff were so lovely. We will be very sad when they both leave
for their big school. I wish I could keep them at Ledsham.

I moved my little girl to Ledsham Park when she was around 18-months-old after seeing her being mistreated in my view in a different nursery. From the first day she started her personality lit up again, she was instantly back to being my happy little girl which I felt I'd lost
The manager and all of
the staff were so understanding and welcoming. It just felt like the best decision I had made!
We're now roughly 2 years on, and I have seen my child grow in confidence in a way I didn't think was possible. Her imagination has flourished, her speech has come on such a long way and now rather than shying away from other kids, she runs over wanting to play with them!
I couldn't be more thankful to the team at Ledsham Park, in my eyes, they have given my daughter the very best start in her educational life, and she absolutely loves being there!

My daughter has been in Ledsham Park Day nursery for the last 2 years and I feel like the staff are my extended family. They helped give me all the reassurance I needed when my little girl started her settling in sessions, the manager particularly helped me feel at ease immediately especially being
a mum herself I think she could really relate to how daunting it can be when your little one starts in new surroundings. The bond my daughter has with all the staff and especially her key workers is exceptional, the level of care and attention is nothing short of outstanding. They provide a really broad range of play - they all do circle time where they sing songs and have dance time/singalong time throughout the day and my daughter loves it and sings all the songs she learnt at home. They do a lot of learning through play in a secure and creative environment allowing children to really embrace imagination and creativity. I can highly recommend Ledsham - the staff are incredible.

My daughter graduated from preschool in this setting earlier this month. She has blossomed into a confident, resilient, curious and skilled individual through her attendance at Ledsham. She is more than ready to start in her reception class in September and is equipped with a strong foundation in all
areas thanks to the hard work, professionalism and challenges given by the staff here. They have nurtured my daughter wonderfully and have been very supportive of me as a parent.

This place is an absolutely delightful place, the staff are amazing with the kids, there are rooms for each age set and facilities for each room too. All staff are dedicated to helping the children to build upon themselves, as well as learn new life skills each day. Warm meals each day allowing kids
to grow up liking different foods and trying new stuff all the time, while also catering for allergies and choices. Could not reccommend enough.

My daughter has loved her time at Ledsham, she's been from age 20 months to school age and has loved every room. The manager has made a lot of positive changes across the nursery since my little one started. She has had a great relationship with all of her key workers and all of the staff. The transition
for my child is often difficult and they've supported her through everything from starting nursery to moving room and gone at her pace. Key workers and management have worked with myself and my husband at every step to make sure that she is happy and she's thrived. The outside space is second to none and my daughter talks a lot about it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the manager and the team.

We are very pleased with the excellent standard of care provided by Ledsham Park Day nursery. It is the nursery of our choice out of those in the local area. The induction process was excellent, especially for nervous parents such as ourselves. Management was reassuring and patient. All the staff are
extremely welcoming and friendly and always make time for us. We really appreciate the 'end of day report' when we pick up our daughter. According to them, she is always amazing. She is always happy and smiling at the end of the day and often creatively messy. We love all her arts and crafts that she has been making at the nursery and we have noticed progress in her development.
We are very impressed with the layout of the nursery and especially like the outside space. It is good that staff take the children out to play whenever possible. Indoor facilities are also very good. Our daughter enjoys the kitchen area.
We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Both of my children have been cared for by Ledsham Park Day Nursery. They were always excited to attend and were happy to be handed over to the staff. Value for money is amazing and especially the term time only option. All staff make you and your child feel safe and at ease, this was essential when
both my children started nursery. Both my children love their outside space and playing in the garden and both have made very good progress with their phonics and their love of learning in general. I would highly recommend this nursery.
