Kids Planet Penketh is a gorgeous nursery in the heart of Penketh community providing Outstanding childcare from babies to Pre-School. Recently refurbished in 2020, the rooms provide lots of gorgeous activities, planned daily following children's interests. Recognising the importance of those first steps to school, the Pre-school teacher works with the nursery's very own Little School curriculum supporting children with that important transition to school. They have been awarded Ofsted Outstanding at their last two inspections (October 2011 and May 2016) and they continue to flourish and have fun with the children in their care every day.

There are lots of things about the nursery that make them Outstanding but their favourites are:

Communication led curriculum that supports children to develop early language skills and grow in confidence.

Excellent nursery with great facilities and activities for the kids. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. My child always has a positive day at nursery and really enjoys coming here.

Lovely stay and play this morning, fab activities for the children around a Halloween theme. My child and I loved it.

A lovely little nursery that provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our son fully thrives on the education he receives and his interaction with his peers. Will also intend to send our newly born daughter.

Kids Planet (Penketh) is a brilliant nursery. My son loves his time at the nursery and always comes home with a big smile each night.
He always has a lovely day.

Both my grandchildren love coming to Kids Planet Penketh. The staff are all lovely and there is always great activities going on for the children. My grandchildren love the community garden club that has recently been put into place. The staff are all very friendly when I come to pick them up and let
me know what they have been doing during their time at nursery.

Lovely nursery, staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble. Really like the app which keeps you up to date with what your child has been up to through out their day, what they have eaten etc. Would highly recommend Kids Planet Penketh to my friends, leaving your child is a big step however I know
that she is in good hands and they will support her in her development.

My child leaves this summer, but I can’t thank the nursery team or manager enough for their help and support over the last year - since becoming Kids Planet the nursery has changed so much, every staff member is approachable and knows my child, it has such an amazing homely feel and you're made to

In the last 6 months, my son has been very happy in nursery. This, I believe, is mostly down to the wonderful staff, especially two staff members in particular, who my son adores. He feels comfortable and happy and I feel he is well cared for. His development has improved significantly in all areas
and he is starting to make friendships. As a parent, it is reassuring that he is in a safe, stimulating and caring environment that meets his needs. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I am really pleased with how my child has settled and been welcomed into the setting. She has bonded with her keyworker who plans interesting and refreshing activities with the children's interests in mind. The manager is a kind and friendly face who goes above and beyond for her staff and families.
All the staff welcome me and my child with a warm demeanour and handovers are detailed and positive. I am very happy with my and my child's experience at Kids Planet Penketh and would recommend to everyone.

I had visited a few nurseries before coming to Kids Planet (Penketh) but knew as soon as I entered the baby room that it was the nursery for us! The calm, friendly atmosphere starts at the front door. All of the staff greet you with a smile and the energy throughout the nursery is warm and positive.
My little one has settled in wonderfully thanks to the relationships she has built with all of the staff who care for her. She goes in each morning with a smile and comes home with one too! I go off to work each day happy in the knowledge that she is going to have a lovely time. We love receiving updates and pictures on the app!
The staff have been so supportive, always available to answer questions and it is clear that they love their jobs in the attention to detail in the activities and resources they use. They know my child and her likes/dislikes so well, she absolutely loves them and is really thriving in their care. We are very grateful to have found Kids Planet; it has made my return to work far easier!

My little one absolutely loves going to nursery. He has come on so much since joining in March. The baby room is well stocked with activities and toys for him to play with. The carers are like family already, and I know he is in safe hands with every member of staff being first aid trained. They are
fair to all the children and receive love and care, always. The staff are just wonderful people and the manager is lovely too and greets all the children at the door. The meals are fabulous, freshly cooked on-site and they follow whatever milk he’s on, or any dietary requirements needed. All nappies are provided too (great plus!) The photos and updates we get daily from the parents' app are great. Really easy to keep track of and know what he’s been up to, makes my day a little easier knowing how/what he’s doing. Thank you so much for making my first nursery experience a lovely, happy and comforting one.

This nursery has a lovely home from home, family feel, which is exactly what I wanted for my little girl. The staff have great relationships with the children and always have lots of fun and exciting things going on too. My little girl always loved going here and still asks now if she can go back to
nursery now she’s at school. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

We first experienced Little Acorns in July 2015, it instantly felt like we were welcomed into a family, my 20-month-old daughter had moved from another nursery due to our house move to Penketh, they made us feel at ease through the transition period and she loved it from the start. There was no question
that as soon as her little brother arrived and was old enough he would follow in her footsteps. My daughter left this summer to start school as a confident and articulate pupil, I credit so much of this to the wonderful staff at Little Acorns. My son has another year left at the nursery and each day I know he is cared for in the safest of environments, has fun and is challenged. Christmas time at Little Acorns is like no other! It is a truly special place you can trust with your child. They have both made so many friends (as have I!) and I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery, it will be the best decision you ever make!

Amazing nursery can’t fault it, my little one been there for nearly 2 years now and has come on so much, everything they do is to fulfil the children’s potential. All the staff are amazing and you're made to feel at ease with everything and they keep you up to date with all that’s going on within the
nursery. The setting is bright and warm and welcoming and each room is special in its own right. I can’t recommend it enough it’s a lovely nursery :)
