Kids Planet Penketh is a gorgeous nursery in the heart of Penketh community providing Outstanding childcare from babies to Pre-School. Recently refurbished in 2020, the rooms provide lots of gorgeous activities, planned daily following children's interests. Recognising the importance of those first steps to school, the Pre-school teacher works with the nursery's very own Little School curriculum supporting children with that important transition to school. They have been awarded Ofsted Outstanding at their last two inspections (October 2011 and May 2016) and they continue to flourish and have fun with the children in their care every day.

There are lots of things about the nursery that make them Outstanding but their favourites are:

Always show so much compassion towards the children. My 3rd child now attends after my 2 eldest went since being little. Can't recommend the staff enough. Polite, friendly, always go the extra mile.

Would highly recommend this nursery, my little boy has attended for 2 years now the staff have been brilliant supporting me with my child’s development specifically with his speech, and together we have worked out his long-term and short-term goals. In order to improve it for the year ahead before he
starts school next September, anything I have asked them to support me with we always work a plan together. Little Acorns is such a warm and friendly environment and it feels like one big family. I love the fact the nursery isn’t massive like others in Warrington and all the staff know the children so well no matter what room they are in. Activities also run alongside, my little boy loves music and sports. Great team, great learning environment and of course great manager, she is always there to chat to, work things out and get support from, my little boy loves going to nursery and I will be sending my other little boy when he’s old enough to attend.

After going to look around a few nurseries last year, I knew Little Acorns was the one for our little girl, so much so that I waited a few months for a place to come available!
Our little girl took a while to settle but thanks to the amazing staff who bent over backwards to make her feel welcome she
absolutely loves it now!
Leaving your little one with people you trust is so hard but I haven’t had to think twice with Little Acorns as they honestly can’t do enough for the children.
Highly recommend this wonderful nursery and I’m so glad we managed to get a place!

Starting a child in nursery is one of the most daunting things a parent can do. Trusting strangers to take care of your child, when you can only hope they are being looked after as you would want them to be. All I can say is your nursery has been amazing. Our daughter has loved going to your nursery
and from being greeted at the door each morning to collecting at the end of the day, your staff are perfect. Greeting each child making them feel special. Your staff always feel genuine and unforced, your policies are followed without feeling clinical and your nursery is always clean and welcoming.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for truly being perfect for our daughter and our family. No thank you could ever be enough for taking care of our precious girl but know every member of staff you have are doing an amazing job we will be forever grateful.
Can not recommend this nursery enough!

We initially contacted Little Acorns in January 2016 to secure a place for our eldest child who started in September 2016. Our youngest child now attends this Nursery.
The standard of care for children at Little Acorns Warrington is second to none.
Both our children have been so happy in the Nursery
and staff at all levels are friendly, supportive and very knowledgeable. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I’ve always found staff will do anything they can to help and support families. We would happily recommend Little Acorns to all prospective families and will be forever grateful to have had this Nursery care for our little ones in the earliest years of their lives. Thank you to the manager and all your first class team!

Both my children have attended this nursery along with my sister's 3 children (now 16,13,8).
At all times the staff are friendly, warm, welcoming and have the children’s best interests at heart.
When I drop my little one off it feels like he is with family, not strangers.
The food is homemade and
the smell of toast in the morning is amazing! The rooms are always immaculate, clean and well organised.
There is an impressive level of security which again reassured me of the safety of my child.
The range of toys is amazing and the staff take lots of time and effort to think about different activities the children can do both inside and out.
All in all a lovely nursery which I cannot praise enough.

Amazing nursery. My daughter currently attends Little Acorns and my son previously.


They put every child's need first and treat each as an individual.


Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff.


My daughter has come on so much with her development since she started here.


My son attended

for 3 years and was completely ready for school and confident, and I think this had a lot to do with the confidence and teaching from the staff.


I cannot recommend Little Acorns enough to all prospective parents/carers.

I would 110% highly recommend Little Acorns Day Nursery to anyone! The staff within the nursery our outstanding! The professionalism and high standards they display on a daily basis you can not fault. We viewed numerous nurseries for our twin boys and I can honestly say from the minute we walked into
Little Acorns Day Nursery we were made to feel part of their community which I personally feel was a key factor. Our boys love going to Little Acorns Day Nursery, they have made so much progress throughout their time there, not only academically but also on a social aspect with other children and Little Acorns Staff. The staff within the nursery are caring, helpful, kind, polite, friendly and more importantly just generally lovely girls who go above and beyond to look after and support our children.


Management and Senco support within Little Acorns Day Nursery is outstanding, every child matters here which makes it OUTSTANDING in my eyes.

This nursery is the friendliest place I have ever visited. The staff go out of their way to make everybody feel included. All staff are genuinely caring towards the children and respect and understand their individual needs and requirements.
They listen to parents and are happy to discuss at any time
what your child is doing at nursery and if he/she is gaining skills needed towards being an independent little person ready for school.
I know how hard it is working in a pre school environment and all the stress with paper work needed for each child. I worked in childcare for 32 years myself.
I would and do highly recommend this nursery to everyone.
Will miss taking my grandchild and meeting all the girl's cheerful happy faces.
