I cannot thank the manager and the team enough for such a professional and flawless experience for my son's start here at the nursery. From the moment we decided to visit the nursery we have been overly impressed with the attentiveness from the owners right through to all of the team there. Our 16-month-old
has settled in extremely well and we have now even increased the days and hours he is attending.
For anyone wanting their child to be nurtured and welcomed into a new childcare setting then this is the nursery for you. I can’t wait to see my son grow and develop under the care of the team here.

Since the new owners have taken over earlier this year they have made massive improvements to the nursery. I was worried about my daughter getting back into the routine after lockdown but the Owner and the team have done a fantastic job at making the little ones feel at home. My daughter now cannot
wait to get to nursery in the mornings and I feel a lot more confident that she is now much better prepared for school in September, I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

My children have been at Macclesfield Day Nursery for a couple of years and it has been wonderful. But, there are now new owners. My daughter has a learning disability and they failed to provide her with a 1:1, despite having received funding from the local authority (they have since had to return some
of this). Management was evasive on this matter, giving me excuse after excuse. At the same time they were broadcasting a radio commercial, claiming to support children with additional needs. Only after I felt I had no other choice but to hand in my notice, and after a 4 and a half month period, did they eventually provide some support. The 1:1 was then doing tasks with my daughter that she was doing easily over a year ago, and they clearly had no knowledge of what my daughter could do, was capable of, or should be doing (despite Early Years providing resources and support).

My son attends Macclesfield Day Nursery. The most outstanding feature of the nursery is the staff. They work extremely hard to help your child settle in and adapt to his/her new environment. The children engage in lots of developmental play and have the use of a fantastic garden on-site to burn off
some energy. It is difficult for some children to settle, we found this but persevere because it is worth it and here, I feel they genuinely care about your child’s happiness.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 13 months old. She is now three and a half. Safe to say we love this nursery, my daughter has grown with this nursery, learnt so much, made the bestest friends. All staff members are so lovely and always smiling.
I chose this nursery through a recommendation
and I’m glad I chose it. My daughter eats a great varied diet, learns so much, plays outside in the big outside space, it’s the best! Thank you Macclesfield day nursery!

My daughter moved to the nursery and was welcomed with open arms and settled in very quickly. This is a fantastic nursery and its setting is wonderful. The staff are all very friendly and lovely. My daughter moves on to school this year and we will both miss going to Macclesfield Day Nursery. She has
experienced so many different activities and the lunch and breakfast menus are excellent. She has tried a lot of different food and flavours at nursery which is amazing.


I would 100% recommend the nursery to others looking for a friendly, fun and educational environment.

Such a lovely and nurturing atmosphere. Staff genuinely care about the children and their experience at nursery.


There's a huge back garden space with plenty of opportunity to get mucky.


Activities are done every day and they make sure to include things relevant to the children in the class.

This month our son's room celebrated Ramadan which meant a lot to us as a Muslim family.


The food is amazing. It's healthy, varied and well thought through. Staff are also very conscious of any dietary requirements.

Although a small nursery, I knew straight away that Macclesfield Day Nursery would be the best place for my daughter. She is quite shy but loves playing outside so the small class sizes and large garden are perfect for her. All the staff know her name even though they might not directly care for her
and are always very helpful and welcoming. The large driveway means pick ups and drop offs are never a problem. Would definitely recommend this nursery to any parents in the area.

Really friendly, helpful staff.
Plenty of varied activities to keep our son happy.
Meal menus and snacks well thought out and apparently very tasty as he eats almost everything.
Unlike many nurseries in the area, this has fabulous outside space to play in.
Parking for drop off/collection never
a problem.

We are so happy we chose this nursery and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is very professionally run by the two nurseries managers, they are very accommodating and approachable. The staff are all so friendly and caring and I feel happy leaving my son in their care, he always has a great time and
I know that he is in safe hands. The range of activities that they do is great and the outside space was a huge selling point for us, especially the chickens which my son loves! Communication is great and every day when we pick him up staff are great at telling us what they have been up to that day. My son has made so much progress since he started this nursery and we know he will have more happy years to come!

A wonderful nursery where all my children have made fantastic progress in their social and emotional development. I particularly like the outdoor space which is made use of on a regular basis. Some teaching in numbers and phonics really helped as a precursor to school for the older children. Most importantly

The nursery balances professionalism with a relaxed, down to earth and welcoming approach to childcare. My baby has thoroughly enjoyed her time there and has obviously developed considerably since she started in October 2015. The carers are always very attentive to her needs and ensure that she not
only is well looked after but is busy all day with fun activities. There have been a couple of incidences of my baby being poorly at nursery and on each occasion they've reacted appropriately and swiftly. I am completely comfortable leaving my baby with them all day knowing that she will be safe and happy. I can't recommend them enough!

My little girl has been going to Macc Day Nursery since she was 5 months old and she loves it! The staff are brilliant, very accommodating and you always get a full rundown of your baby's day, often including a painting to take home. The back garden is great and they run other activities from outside
companies during the week. I'm never worried about leaving my little one there and she always has a great time. Couldn't recommend enough.

The staff have always looked after our son well. He enjoys going and regularly and fondly talks about his friends and the staff at nursery. He enjoys a wide variety of activities including playing in the big garden, painting and drawing, and brings home his artwork. We have already recommended to friends

My son has been attending this nursery since 7months old and he absolutely loves it! He loves all the different activities both outside and in. The rooms are smaller in numbers so the children in each room are closer in age. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and easily approachable. Every time I
pick him up the staff are great at telling me about what he has been up to during the day. A secure, friendly and fun nursery.
