The nursery sits on one of the busiest commuter routes in Cheshire. It is perfectly located for parents living locally or travelling to or from Manchester via the A556 or to Warrington via the A50.

On the journey to nursery the other day my 2 year old daughter excitedly called out the names of all the children and staff that she was going to say hello to that morning - just one of the indications that she loves going to Mere nursery and treats it like an extended family. The staff are kind and
very professional, the outdoor play area is far bigger and greener than many nurseries, and the cook's food is delicious (tried it myself!)

This is a fantastic nursery. Both my daughters are very happy there. The staff are warm, enthusiastic and organised! They have a great relationship with the children and I was amazed at how much my daughter's key worker knew about her when I met her to discuss progress. The nursery is one large space
divided into smaller areas according to age group, which means that if you have more than one child your children do see each other during the day, which was a real comfort to me when my younger daughter started. At Mere there is lots of space for the children to have fun without feeling like they're lost in a sea of other children. Last week my elder daughter came home bursting with pride, carrying a box of scones she'd made with Mere's cook. It was lovely that she'd been able to do an activity all on her own and that the cook had taken the time to do that with her. I know this is such an awful cliche but it really does seem like they treat each child as an individual. Highly recommended!

We moved house and our little boy had to move nursery. We chose Mere was the best one and easiest to get to. We heard it had been taken over and most times that's a good thing. In this case it was. The new owner is lovely. She showed us around and said I'm doing this and I'm doing that and all fantastic
things she was doing to improve on the nursery. When our little boy started he settled straight in. At his old nursery he used to cry when we dropped him off and ran at us when we picked him up. At Mere he loves it and waves goodbye to us and keeps playing when we collect him. The food is all homemade and looks fabulous. The staff are so friendly and he always makes lovely things to take home. One great thing is they spend time outside. We are so happy he is there and wouldn't think of moving him.

I think Mere nursery has improved after being taken over last year. My son has grown up so much and is learning so much more.


They have a good size outdoor area which is used often. The staff look after the children as if they are their own. They are so caring. My son gives them all lots of cuddles.

You can tell he likes them all.


There are lots of activities for the children. They will never be bored. The food is always very healthy and they eat a lot of fruit and veg too.


I would recommend Mere Nursery. I am looking forward to seeing the new baby room. The designs look great.

Staff very well trained, efficient and focused on children improvements and development. Very good care of equipments and modern facilities, continuous improvements to reach the best satisfaction in child care.


I recommend this nursery as children are happy, well look after and safe.

Lovely nursery in a great setting with lots of outside space and plenty of parking. Staff are really lovely with the children, my two boys love it and have attended from 9 months old. Would highly recommend.
