Catering for children aged from three months to five years, ABC 123 Day Nursery offers age-appropriate rooms where children have access to toys and resources most appropriate for their age and stage of development, to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.

The nursery’s garden offers a large grassed area with a climbing frame, a mud kitchen and a space for growing plants and vegetables. Children are encouraged to be active outside every day, twice a day, and there is a covered area so that younger children can experience the outdoors safely.

Children are cared for at ABC 123 Day Nursery by fully qualified staff members who have been DBS checked and undergone a strict recruitment process, including a number of interviews and provided suitable references, to ensure children at the nursery are in safe and supportive hands.

Excellent nursery. Staff are all very welcoming and understanding of the needs of the children. Helped child develop and meet milestones for age. Would highly recommend. Confidentiality is key for the area I work and this was respected throughout the time the child was enrolled.

My son has been going here since he was 2 and will now be starting school this September. This is the best nursery I could have chosen for my child and has the most amazing staff who always try their best for each individual child.

ABC 123 is a wonderful nursery. They provide excellent care in a safe environment and provide a large variety of activities for the children. Regular contact and updates from the nursery regarding my child's development and seasonal activities the nursery is offering. All of the staff are welcoming

My son started ABC 123 on September 2020 at just 5 months old, having been born in lockdown he hadn't been around many people - the staff were (and still continue to be) amazing with him. The bond he has formed with his key worker, as well as other members of staff, is so lovely to see. The staff genuinely
care about his development and wellbeing, providing the best possible care. He partakes in activities, goes on walks and is stimulated excellently. I am so impressed with the level of care and attention shown.

My child has been at ABC 123 Day Nursery for the last 9 months and I can honestly say that I'm really impressed with the staff at the nursery. Everyone single member is approachable and they are friendly and so welcoming. My little man has not stopped surprising me with his development since starting.
I would highly recommend the nursery to all.

Our son has been attending this nursery for almost 12 months and he absolutely loves it, just as we feel very happy and safe sending him there. All of the staff are very friendly and approachable and always on hand to reassure us if we're worried about anything to do with our son. ABC 123 have parties
and extra events throughout the year, such as a 10th birthday party for themselves in the summer, with a BBQ, games and crafts and a Halloween party in October, again with games, crafts and food. We attended both and really enjoyed them, we're looking forward to the Christmas party in a few weeks. We're kept fully up to date with what our son does when he's in nursery through their social media page (you can opt out of this) - it's a private page on which they upload photos and videos to. We would fully recommend ABC 123 to anyone, all-round great nursery.

My four-year-old daughter has been with ABC 123 since she was eight months old, it is a brilliantly-run place for babies, toddlers and pre-school children to thrive in. There are varied activities with plenty of things to learn; arts, crafts, etc and even weekly yoga sessions! Staff are very friendly,
attentive and caring. My daughter has developed so much over the past year or two and nursery has played a big part in this - she has become a much more confident, outgoing little girl, she will miss the staff and her friends very much, although she is definitely ready for her next chapter - big school!
Thank you to all the team for providing such a fun and safe environment for our daughter to play and learn.

ABC 123 has been an incredible nursery for our son. He started when he was two and has loved every minute of his time here. The staff are loving, approachable and fantastic with our son. He is so sad to be leaving to go to school and will miss all of the lovely staff and children here. My son is very
well prepared thanks to the staff here. He has loved making friends, forming relationships and taking part in extra activities like yoga. Thank you so much to everyone at ABC 123.

My son has attended this nursery since he was six months old, all the staff are lovely and helpful, he enjoyed going every day and now he’s finished he keeps asking to go back. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, he came on leaps and bounds with each milestone with the help from ABC 123 Nursery.

My daughter has attended ABC since she was 9 months old and she’s soon leaving for reception class. The nursery took the time to get to know her as an individual and their communication and engagement with families is great. I’ve never had any concern with the nursery and would recommend to other parents.

My son started nursery at 11 months old, after spending very little time away from his mummy. They were both encouraged by management to have lots of settling in sessions together, to help with mummy’s separation anxiety.
The staff made us feel very welcome, and our precious boy has taken to them
all, which has helped him to settle in. Everyone is very caring and it is such a happy environment. It is comforting to know that the baby’s needs always come first, especially with fussy parents like us! Haha.

My little girl has absolutely loved her time at ABC 123 Day Nursery she has made loads of friends she was very shy when she first started and didn't want to be apart from her mummy but the staff helped so much with that and made leaving her that little be easier and after a week she was fine and settled
in really well she would come home really happy telling me about her day! Was two members of staff that my little girl got really close to and it was really nice to see as she would run to them give them a big cuddle and tell them about her weekend. Grateful for everything.

I cannot rate this nursery enough! The staff are doing an amazing job with the children, my little one always comes out of nursery with lots to say about her day. The nursery is a clean and fun place to send your children, the outdoor space is lovely.

ABC 123 is an absolutely brilliant nursery, I wouldn't dream of sending my son anywhere else, all the staff are amazing and caring.
Very informative and attentive!
My son absolutely loves going here and gets excited when we pull into the car park! There is never an issue and on the rare occasion
there is as a parent I am well informed.
His development since being with the nursery is incredible and I'm so happy to know that he is in such a safe place when I'm not with him.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since August 2017 and has literally come on leaps and bounds! She loves all the staff, gets so excited about going and has learnt very valuable things such as eating with cutlery, sharing, being polite and being more independent. When she first started she
couldn't even eat food properly but within just one week she had started and continued to flourish with it. Highly recommend this nursery and have already to a friend whose daughter now attends!

Hayley Russell

Hayley is ABC 123 Day Nursery's Director, she has owned the Nursery since 2009 and has amazing visions for the Nursery. She is set on making the Nursery a safe, welcoming and educational environment where children are happy to learn and develop.


Karen

Karen Edmonds

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2002

Karen has worked here since 2002 and has been the Nursery Manager since 2012. She has a Level 5 qualification in Early Years and Level 3 in Management, she is also well trained in lots of other areas including Paediatric First Aid.


She is the Nursery SENDCO and Safeguarding lead and is passionate about the children learning about nature and the outdoors.

Tracey Glover

Job Title: Nursery Deputy Manager

Joined: 2012

Tracey has worked at ABC 123 since 2012 and has a Level 5 foundation degree in Early Years alongside Paediatric first aid, Designated Safeguarding Lead and lots of other Child Care training.
Tracey is room leader of our Toddler Room and also works as Deputy Manager in the office. She loves teaching the children new skills and showing them how to use tools safely when helping to do little jobs.

Lynsey Ratcliffe

Job Title: Senior Nursery Nurse

Lynsey has worked at ABC 123 since 2013 and is Room Leader of our Tweeny Room.
She has a level 3 Diploma in Nursery Nursing and is Paediatric first aid trained, designated safeguarding lead and also has lots of other child care training. She has worked in childcare for 26 years and loves teaching the children new skills, watching them gain independence and accomplish new things.

Kelly Bennett

Kelly our 4th in Charge and has been at ABC 123 since 2018
Kelly is our Baby Room Leader.
She holds a level 3 child care qualification and has Paediatric First Aid.
