Overall Experience

Both of our sons have attended Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery. Our eldest left last year, and the youngest has been there from the baby room right through to the pre-school room. The owner clearly adores children and manages the nursery with devotion and care. The staff in each room are enthusiastic,

dedicated, proficient and caring. The delicious food menus cater for every taste, and the fun weekly programs encourage development in the children. I am so grateful to everyone at Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery for looking after our boys and would recommend it without hesitation.

Overall Experience

This is a fantastic nursery! I have been incredibly pleased with the progress my little one has made and the skills he has developed in the last 2-years. The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, supportive and genuinely care for the children. I would highly recommend them as they are really good.

Overall Experience

My daughter is currently in the baby room, and we have had nothing but positive experiences with the nursery. All the staff are excellent and go above and beyond, especially during this difficult past year. And we know that the upmost care and attention is given to our child.

I have found Sir Leslie Martin to be an excellent nursery. All of the staff are very professional and have supported my son’s transition from another setting really well. Overall Experience

This nursery has been a blessing! No words can describe how much everyone at the nursery has helped me with my son. The advice and guidance have been amazing throughout the whole time of his journey. Not having a clue what I am doing has not been a problem, if I have needed anything, they have been

there for me every step of the way.
He has recently moved into the pre-school room, and the support I have been given with his potty training has been fantastic.
I could not recommend this nursery enough. I decided on Sir Lesley Martin from a recommendation, and I am now recommending it to my sister with her twins and a lot of my close friends with their new babies.
I would like to thank everyone for being amazing. Thank you for putting up with us as a family!
He is loving his time in the pre-school room, and his time in the toddler room was just as good.

Overall Experience

From the moment I walked in, I knew this was where I wanted my children to be. The staff are amazing, always so welcoming and friendly, and the children love them. They have been with Sir Leslie Martin since they were 8-months-old; they have always loved all the art, activities and enjoyed the outside

play areas. My son will be really sad to leave his Sir Leslie Martin family this month but is ready to start in his new big school in September. He has had the best time at nursery, and it has been the perfect starting point, and I know he is already looking forward to coming back to pick his sister up and tell everyone how he is getting on at school.

Overall Experience

I would highly recommend Sir Leslie Martin to any family. My son has attended there from 2.5-years-old, and we are so happy with how he is getting on. They have a great outdoor area; they do such fun activities and are always making great things with the children. His development and language have come

on no end since attending there. Any issues or concerns have been dealt with speedily, and the staff are all so approachable, friendly and professional. The rooms are lovely, and the sleep areas for the children with fairy lights are so lovely. Their dealing with Covid and health and safety has been amazing. Would highly recommend it.

Overall Experience

The wonderful staff at Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery provide a fantastic nursery for our daughter. Nothing is too much trouble, and they have helped us out at a moments notice on several occasions. Overall Experience

We moved to Hartford at the end of May, and I was really worried about my daughter changing nursery. I needn’t have been concerned - the team at Sir Leslie Martin are absolutely brilliant and spared lots of time beforehand to talk about the nursery and routine there and to learn about my daughter. Every

morning is a warm welcome, and you feel as though your child is being made part of a family and truly cared for as an individual. The setting is also superb, with lots of good indoor and outdoor space, all beautifully decorated. I love the way the team communicate what my daughter has done every day. The variety of activities is huge, and her conversation and physical dexterity have come on in leaps and bounds. The team provide excellent advice on anything you need (such as potty training) and really make you feel like part of the local community.

Overall Experience

Our experience of the Sir Leslie Martin nursery has all been extremely positive. Our daughter has flourished since moving from her previous nursery. She settled quickly into her new class, and we could immediately see the care and individual attention that each child is given on a one to one basis.

Overall Experience

My little girl has been attending Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery since January 2020, and I honestly can’t fault the place. Staff are amazing with the children, have time for all of the parents, and do a number of different activities with the children on a daily basis. They celebrate all different religions

and special occasions and always make an effort to include everyone. Staff are always happy to answer questions and offer advice. They also always give detailed information at handover, so I know exactly what my child has done throughout the day and if there have been any problems.
My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and has learnt so much since attended the nursery, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

I can’t sing Sir Leslie Martin praises enough. My daughter started here at 15-months and loves it. I was so nervous to send her to the nursery, but it was truly the best decision. She is learning so much each week, the amazing staff have worked so hard throughout the pandemic to keep everyone safe and

should be proud of all their hard work. They are very friendly and welcoming, helping with the children’s development and supporting the parents too. Truly, a great nursery; they go above and beyond.

Overall Experience

Extremely warm and friendly. All staff go above and beyond in all they do. Fabulous facilities and the best gardens/outdoor play of any nursery in the locality.
Staff not only care for children but support parents well too.
My children have loved their time at Sir Leslie Martin and have thrived.

My eldest was well prepared for school and my youngest still attends and loves every minute. (Except going home time) It simply doesn't get better than Sir Leslie Martin.

Overall Experience

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 6 months old (she is now 10 months old). She spends two full days there.
I couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough. All of the staff are really accommodating, making time to answer questions prior to us joining, spending time with both me and

my daughter to ensure she settled in well. During the first week they helped to alleviate any concerns and put my mind at rest, they are dedicated to the care of the babies but also to you as a parent, making sure you are reassured and confident in leaving your child in their care.
My daughter has come on so much since being there, she absolutely loves it. They encourage her to learn new skills all of the time, play with her, encourage her, try her with new foods etc. The two main teachers/carers in the baby room clearly genuinely love babies and the jobs they do and I have no hesitation in leaving her in their care. They are first aid trained too which is of great comfort.

Overall Experience

This is a brilliant nursery where everyone feels a part of the family. The staff are so caring and nurturing towards all of the children and their needs. It is small in numbers, which makes for a personal feel, and all staff in the nursery know all of the children across all ages of the nursery.
They

are very accommodating for specific food requirements. There is always something to celebrate - either British or foreign and this makes for fun activities for the children. A true "home from home" and we'll all be sad when it is time for big school!

Overall Experience

Our little boy has attended the Sir Leslie Martin Day Nursery since February (2015) and I can only express how delighted we are with the Owner and the team. Each morning we are personally greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the Manager, which is a lovely way to start the day! We find all the staff

are just as engaging with both children and parents and we go off to work safe in the knowledge that our little boy is going to have a fantastic day! The nursery itself has plenty of displays for the children to look at, and a lovely garden for them to play in. The baby room is full of fun things to do (our little boy especially likes the ball pool) and even has a mezzanine level where the children "go up to bed". Safety and security is paramount - only staff can open the door, no mobile phones etc - It really feels like a home from home! The range of activities is fantastic and I always look forward to hearing about what they've been up to and looking at the photo's that go into their development journal. The varied cuisine is great in encouraging children to try new things and I often wish I could stay for lunch myself!! Our little boy has truly come on leaps and bounds in terms of development and social skills and we feel confident this will continue during his remaining time at the nursery.

Overall Experience

I cannot fault this nursery. It is evident that both the staff and management are highly trained and passionate about their job. The layout of the facilities are well planned and every child's needs are catered for. Both children and their parents are welcomed with a warm friendly greeting, day or

night. I highly recommend this nursery to all my friends and cannot emphasise enough how impressed I have been, in particular the way in which the children are clearly loved and cared for.
