Partou Willowdene Day Nursery & Pre-school is a caring, happy nursery in Widnes for babies and children aged up to five years. The nursery has been caring for the children since 1995 and has an excellent reputation in Widnes.

Children at Willowdene can play in a safe and secure outdoor area, whatever the weather, and go on regular adventures to Victoria Park, which is directly opposite the nursery. The friendly, experienced and qualified staff provide children with fun learning activities planned around their individual likes and interests. These cover all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Children are provided with delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks, freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen every day.

Willowdene’s kind, caring staff hold safeguarding training and paediatric first aid certificates and all team members undergo enhanced DBS checks.

The nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems to provide added security for its little ones.

My daughter has been attending Willowdene for approx 18 months, the nursery is fantastic, rooms are set out great for little ones, outdoor space is lovely. There are so many activities for children to get involved in.
The most amazing thing about the nursery is the staff, my daughter's key worker
is exceptional, as well as the other staff in the Cygnets room. My daughter's key worker knows her likes and dislikes and has really taken time to get to know her and her little personality, she celebrates all of her achievements and milestones no matter how small. In the 18 months at Willowdene every staff member we have interacted with, even some in other rooms refer to my daughter by her name and all take time to greet us.
Thoroughly appreciate the updates to the app throughout the day, especially the 'moments' with updates and pictures.
I would really recommend Willowdene, I feel absolutely assured that I am leaving my daughter in a place she is safe and well cared for each day.

My daughter has been at Willowdene from the baby room up until the current which is preschool. She is always happy and goes in with a smile on her face while running to the staff in the room which has also been the same in the previous rooms that she has been in. It's clear to see the relationships
that the staff throughout the nursery have with the children from going in the morning, as we walk through the nursery to pick-ups where my child seems to be engaged and having fun. This gives me peace of mind knowing that she enjoys her time here. Through observations on the app, conversations and handovers we love hearing about all of the fun things that our daughter has been doing in nursery and she is always so excited while telling us at home. She has loved her time here the past two and a half years and we are so thankful for the support, guidance and opportunities that the nursery has provided us with. We look forward to the rest of her time here before she starts school in September.

The staff are all friendly and welcoming, wide variety of healthy foods made within the nursery, my son has always enjoyed going to this nursery since being in the baby room and still loves it now he's in preschool, and never had any issues.

Our little girl has always loved coming to nursery and has thrived from the baby room, to now the toddler room. The nursery has developed massively in a positive way since the management takeover. Our child engages in lots of activities throughout the day that are well documented on the app the nursery
has, which we receive a number of pictures of her daily. She also talks about her key worker and staff at home which shows the bonds the staff create.
We are happy our daughter goes here, and would recommend the nursery.

I love bringing my son to nursery, he looks forward to coming in every day and he loves all the teachers in his class and previous classes. The additional activities such as Diddi dance and football is also something he looks forward to and we get regular updates on the new dances he has learnt!

Partou Willowdene is the best place for every kid to be, I brought my son a few months back and he has really improved in so many ways. All the staff are very nice and supportive, their professionalism is compared to none. The nursery environment, the ambience are very nice and good for children's safety.
There is no discrimination whatsoever and I really love their service. I would love to appreciate every member of staff for the good work they are doing.

There have been some lovely improvements to the nursery in the last few months, it is such a lovely place to bring my daughter. She is really enjoying her time at preschool. It's made to be fun learning and she has some lovely preschool friends. Great work to all the staff. I always feel confident my

Willowdene Private Day Nursery and Pre-school really is an outstanding childcare setting - having had a child previously attend and one still at the nursery, I can’t imagine them being anywhere else. Staff really do go above and beyond to make the place a home from home for the children in their care
in the way that they welcome and look after them. From the settling-in, the handovers to the communication about what the children are doing daily and the food that they provide, I couldn’t ask for more. The most important thing, my children have thrived and enjoyed every moment of their time at Willowdene which speaks louder than anything I could write!

My little boy started this nursery last year and it was such a new challenge for the both of us. I was very apprehensive as he is my pride and joy but honestly the staff are so good and so encouraging. He struggled going in at first and there was tears from us both but the support I received was so
brilliant and he now runs in and even asks for his key person at home. I am really happy with the staff here and he has come on leaps and bounds. I love that I can ring at any time and they are always honest and I love my picture updates it puts my mind at ease. This is a truly lovely nursery with very down-to-earth staff. Im so grateful!

My child has really come along since going to Willowdene. The staff are fantastic with the children. The manager is lovely and makes you feel welcome, and never like you're inconveniencing her when you have a query. It's clear that the staff love children and enjoy what they do. The facilities are good
and the building is secure. Would recommend, very happy with our experience so far.

My daughter loves attending Willowdene Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Widnes and the staff in her room are amazing. They are always so positive, caring and nurturing. There are always so many lovely activities for the children and the staff are keen to offer as many learning and playing opportunities
as possible. My daughter is a very confident and outgoing little toddler and the staff are so keen to help her learn and develop. I love hearing about her antics during the day! I feel the quality of the nursery has improved greatly since my daughter started in April 2022. The communication and feedback about my daughter is excellent and I love hearing and seeing how she has been getting on. The app and the Facebook pages are lovely to look at and see how she's getting on.

A lovely nursery that my daughter is very happy to go to every day. The nursery provides nutritional meals and always provides alternatives if a child doesn't like/won't eat what is provided. She is well taken care of and has lots of opportunities to learn and grow whether it is indoors or out.

The quality of the nursery has gone from strength to strength since the manager has returned from maternity leave. My child has settled well and is cared for extremely well. The staff are all nurturing and always happy to see you in the morning. The communication is excellent and the resources and facilities

My daughter loves attending Willowdene Nursery and her key worker is a big part of the reason why. What a lovely girl who is brilliant at her job, a complete natural. The key worker has built a great trust and friendship with her. My daughter is straight over to her when she arrives at nursery and
I leave knowing she is in great hands and is going to have a great day. The key worker always greets you with a big friendly smile and is happy to see my daughter. When I collect my daughter at the end of the day, the key worker provides honest and informative feedback always. Her key worker shows a great interest in my daughter's likes and dislikes and development and is always very complimentary and enjoys telling me things she has done. She always goes that extra mile and I can't thank her enough! My daughter has been at Willowdene since she was six months old and really enjoys her days there. She is well looked after by the ladies in her room - thank you all.

My daughter has been coming to Willowdene for three months and she settled in straight away.
The staff are always friendly, happy, very pleasant and helpful. We are so happy with the nursery, the team and the activities that they do there and the level of care, support and communication. They have
certainly made a great connection with her and she's so happy to see them each morning! It really does make us rest easy as parents knowing that she is happy, being well looked after and is enjoying herself whilst there.

Nursery staff always make you feel welcome every day. They have helped my son grow and develop since 9 months old a year ago now. Our little man is always happy when we pick him up, he explores so many different opportunities and gets to enjoy all the messy play! The menu is fantastic giving him a wide
range of foods and he always has a variety throughout the week! We feel extremely comfortable leaving our son here every day knowing he's having the best day!

I cannot sing the praises of Willowdene Private Day Nursery and Pre-school enough. My son started there at 7 months old and left to go to school. He learned so much at Willowdene, made many friends and the staff became like family. My son can be awkward about food and sharing things and the patience
and care shown to him and his needs were exemplary and I never ever worried about him in their care. He will miss Willowdene.
