Kids Planet Ansdell nurtures children by connecting them to nature. Children are given ample opportunity to explore and discover the natural environment which allows them to thrive.

The nursery is located in Lytham St Annes and features indoor and outdoor play and learning which challenges children both physically and mentally, guided by highly qualified staff who have a real passion for outdoor learning and early years education.

Kids Ansdell Nursery is a very welcoming and friendly environment for childcare. My daughter has been there for 2 1/2 years and I've been very impressed by the level of care and attention from staff. The staff make every effort to provide the right care for each individual child and are really kind
and helpful towards parents also, addressing any queries or worries promptly. My daughter has been very happy here and loved by the staff. Thank you! Highly recommend this nursery.

Kids Planet Ansdell is a lovely, small and nurturing nursery. We moved our toddler here after she didn't settle at a much larger nursery. She took to the smaller environment straight away and we've never looked back. The staff take the time to really get to know both her and us as a family, which has
enabled her confidence to grow and grow. We were concerned that she was behind with her talking and within 6 months of attending Ansdell her progress with her speech and vocabulary was huge. We're so pleased we decided to move our daughter here and can't wait for our youngest to start next year. If you're looking for a smaller, more personal/nurturing nursery then Ansdell is it!

After looking at 9 other nurseries and then making the decision not to send my son, a friend recommended Kids Planet Ansdell and instantly I could tell it was different from meeting the manager. The staff are lovely and really take their time to get to know your child and their needs, the managers are
really supportive and they have lots of extra add-ons which I didn't realise nurseries did (like sports coaching and speech and language training for their staff) my son only goes a couple of half days a week but the app is updated several times a day so you can see all the fun things they do like trips to the library and sensory play. I'm really happy I chose this nursery, his key worker is really good at settling him if he's ever upset or nervous and I can tell he likes it too.

We were always so impressed with the quality of teaching in the pre-school room. Our child was happy and enthusiastic about coming to nursery every day and he loved Deandra's outdoor and nature focused activities. Especially the camp fires and anything about bugs! A particular member of staff has worked
very hard to expand her skills and it was great that the children could get involved too and participate in such interesting and educational exercises. We are also really pleased that our son has developed a good understanding of numbers to 10, colours and recognising letters from his name ready for starting at school thanks to the particular member of staff and her team.

My daughter has recently finished here after transferring to Kids Planet Ansdell in September 2023 from another local nursery. She has loved her time here, and it reinforced that it was the right decision to move her.
The staff have been fantastic with her and it has been lovely to see her develop
and her confidence to develop even more so ahead of her starting school in September. The mixture of activities and trips out is just the icing on top of the cake!

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff they go above and beyond to help the children. They work closely with the parents to ensure this and work hard to ensure the children achieve their best. The staff have fantastic relationships with the children and it's clear to see the bonds the children have

Ansdell Kids Planet has been amazing for my son. He has just finished at the nursery ready to start school. I was concerned about how my son would go with starting school as he is very high energy but all the staff at Kids Planet Ansdell have worked so well with him and all my worries are now gone and
I'm confident he'll settle in well at school. I cannot express in words just how grateful I am to all the staff at this nursery. I never imagined anyone to have such a good grasp on my son's personality than myself. They know him so well and they adapt their learning to suit his needs and always recognise when he needs refocusing, they show him so much love and make him (and me) feel like part of a big family. I have felt so comfortable leaving my son here and I'm sad to say goodbye to the staff. It has been a wonderful experience having my son in this wonderful setting and I'll be forever grateful for all the love and hard work that the nursery has put into getting my son ready for school.

Our daughter has been at this nursery since October 2021 and has moved through the classes with ease - the staff always on hand to comfort and support her. She has blossomed and developed in this nursery setting so well and she loves going. It’s a smaller nursery but we have found that an advantage
as it never felt overwhelming and is always a close knit friendly environment. Definitely recommend!

My little boy was 10 months old when he started his settle sessions and is now 1 year old.
The nursery is lovely and cosy, the staff are warm and friendly and have made me feel at ease when leaving my son with them and have worked around his current needs. They provide regular updates throughout the
day on the parent app and always take the time to chat with me on pick-up and let me know about the day.
I'm very happy with the care they provide

I have two children at this nursery and the progress we've seen from them whilst at Kids Planet has been amazing. They look forward to going every week and are excited to tell us what they did during their day after we collect them. The staff are fantastic, and so many different activities are on offer
every day. I'm so pleased to have this nursery so close to home and have nothing but positive things to say about Kids Planet Ansdell. I would always recommend them to other parents.

The best nursery around! Fantastic and supportive! The outside area is amazing and is used in all sorts of weather, which I love for my child. The additional sports activities are brilliant, and the food is healthy and balanced.

This is such a good nursery setting. The children are very much at the heart of everything they do. From sports, outdoor learning, understanding the world, independence and all the traditional academic areas, they truly nurture and develop. Always taking into account the children's interests, they provide
a wealth of experiences (I mean who wouldn't enjoy a trip on a bus, a story in a bookshop and then a gingerbread man?). The fact that the setting is all-inclusive also makes the day that little bit easier.

I think the communication between the nursery and the families is absolutely brilliant. I recently had to pick my granddaughter up from nursery as she was unwell. The care given to her was brilliant. The nursery clearly new her needs and had her settled and cared for. The information regarding medicine
given etc. was clearly logged and explained, absolutely first class. I honestly think they were brilliant.

Fabulous nursery. My first born started in 2020 and had a fabulous experience and was recently supported fantastically by the nursery with his transition to school, which went brilliantly, and I credit the nursery for their support. My younger son has attended since September 2022 and loves it. The
staff are lovely, everyone is always happy and it’s great that they don’t just hand over the child at the door, you get to have a chat with the staff and hear about your child’s day. The manager is lovely and really accommodating. The nursery itself is small but lovely and the nature garden is fantastic. Our boys are both vegetarian and the food has always been fantastic, some good healthy choices. The staff, when they get the chance, also always manage to post some great pictures on the app, with lots of details about what the kids are up to during the day. The sports coaches are brilliant, our son really enjoys all the outside activities since they joined the nursery.

Our son started with Kids Planet Ansdell in June 2023 at nine months old. We are beyond delighted with how he has settled in. The staff are so friendly and approachable; we are really pleased to have chosen Kids Planet Ansdell as our nursery provider.
My child is now one and enjoying nursery to the

My daughter started Ansdell Nursery in September in the preschool room and has very much enjoyed her days there. She settled in very well and enjoys telling us all about the things she has done during the day. I love getting updates on the app and I am able to go through the pictures with her at home
in order to help support the re-telling of her day. Although she has not been there long I can tell that the staff put in a lot of effort to make the learning fun and interesting, with different themes and learning opportunities.

Since Kids Planet have taken over Ansdell nursery, I've been very impressed with the new improvements that have been made. All the new staff seem to be lovely and always happy and engaging. (I love the existing staff members too!) I love the implementation of the sports coach/sessions. I'm also pleased
with the offer of hot meals for all. The only area I would say needed some more attention would be the outside space. Keep up the great work and I hope now that staff turnover stays low.

For the past 2 years, my daughter has been in Ansdell nature nursing and I have to say it is one of the best nurseries I have ever seen. My child comes home happy all the time tells me brilliant stories about what happened that day, and then tells me all that she has done with her teachers. All have
been absolutely amazing with her and given them so many activities to do to build them up for school. I couldn't have wished for better nursery teachers for my daughter, they have been amazing and I would highly recommend Ansdell Nursery to everyone. My daughter will surely miss her nursery when it's time for school.

My little girl started in September last year and she absolutely loves it. She became more confident with her talking and she made lots of friends , the staff are amazing and make every day full of fun, loaded with lots of activities from baking to trips to the park or the beach. They always post pictures
on the app for parents so I can see what she was doing throughout the day and see when she had a nap or went on a potty. I definitely recommend this little nursery and my daughter will miss all the girls once she moves to pre-school this September.

I began working in the early years in 2019 after qualifying as a teacher and developing a love for supporting learning and growth in early years and joined the Ansdell team as Manager in November 2023.
