Kids Planet Ansdell nurtures children by connecting them to nature. Children are given ample opportunity to explore and discover the natural environment which allows them to thrive.

The nursery is located in Lytham St Annes and features indoor and outdoor play and learning which challenges children both physically and mentally, guided by highly qualified staff who have a real passion for outdoor learning and early years education.

The nature garden provides an excellent space for each child to create great childhood memories. Divided into different zones, children grow and develop their imagination, decision-making and independence.

This nursery and the staff are the best by far, my son loves coming here. The staff have been amazing in getting my child to where he needs to be for when he leaves. They are all so supportive and helpful. From my child's first day to now, I have seen amazing changes that the kids really benefit from.

My daughter has attended this nursery since July 2021 when she was only 9 months. It was hard when she first started as covid restrictions were still in place but we were able to look around the nursery after hours and felt at home instantly, then when she started we had to hand her over at the door
and the staff were always ready to greet her with a smile and a warm hug. She has come on so much over the past few years since attending and has even started talking about her day at nursery once home. She loves the activities they do and playing with the other children. We as parents love it when we get a moment for the day to see her happy and having fun as well as learning. It's such a lovely nursery and I'm so glad we chose it for our daughter.

Since joining in November 2022 - My child has flourished. At the start after my mum looking after her I was worried how she’d adjust and how I’d be. My daughter loves nursery and says ‘happy’ as we turn onto the road. The ladies are fabulous and really put my mind at ease. I’m a big believer in trusting
your motherly instincts and I know my daughter is in safe hands. It’s such a fantastic nursery - even though I live in Warton and there are nurseries closer, I couldn’t bring myself to leave as it’s such a brilliant place! Keep it up ladies you are amazing!

My little girl started in April this year and is flourishing, coming home singing songs and telling me facts about different things. The staff handle her brilliantly and she's come on so far already. The welcoming and educational setting is just made to support children's individuality. The teachers
as she calls them all have their own unique bond and understanding with her, she trusts them.

We moved our son here from another nursery and could not be more pleased that we did - he has loved going from day 1 and has built a wonderful group of friends here that he can’t wait to see every day. The nursery is the perfect size and the outdoor space is amazing - the staff are welcoming, available
and wonderful with all the children - my son has come on leaps and bounds here and I will be so sad when he leaves to go to school in August. I’m so glad we found Kids Planet Ansdell and moved him - definitely the best thing we’ve done

The staff are a wonderful team, and my son has always felt safe and secure going to nursery. We love the nature aspect of Kids Planet, and often hear about the various topics covered as part of the learning journey.
Feedback and comments are welcomed by the nursery manager, who works hard to accommodate
requests and answer questions. The garden could be bigger, but the resources available are great for the space. The nursery sits next door to our local park and playing field, so this space is also used regularly.

We asked our daughter what she thought about nursery and she says she 'loves it'.
We asked why?
She said because she gets to play, she gets to go outside, she gets dinner, she gets to play, have tea and go outside.
When we looked for a nursery we wanted her to have fun and be outside as much as possible,
so thank you for filling our brief.
I know she has learnt a lot too and it would seem she’s had fun doing out.
The staff are kind, nurturing, caring and always interacting with the children.

Ansdell nursery is a homely and cosy learning environment. My son enjoys his time here and feels safe and cared for. There are lots of different resources for children to promote learning. I would highly recommend.

My son has always been quite funny about nurseries, he has never really settled anywhere until now! He will come home and talk about the day he has had and all the activities he has done and the friends he has played with, which is so heart warming to hear, especially as a parent. Of course we have
up and down days and on the days when he is a little sad, the nursery staff always ensure to comfort him and make him feel welcome. My son never stops taking about the staff and children there. It is nice knowing that my child is going somewhere where he is generally cared for.
Staff are very supportive of the child's development. I can see a huge change in my son's behaviour and independence as well as other skills and its great to see!
The nursery rooms are beautiful, the outdoor area looks like so much fun and the days out look awesome.
I couldn't be happier with where my son goes to nursery. Definitely the best nursery by far!

My son has attended since March 2018 in the Baby Room. He is now 15 months old and absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, his key person is great with him and he goes straight to her every morning.
They have a wide selection of great activities which they do every
day, dancing being one of his favourites. They play in the garden every day come rain or shine as the nursery has full splash suits for all the children so they can jump in puddles. The mud kitchen is his favourite thing to play in the garden. They go to the park every week too as it is literally next door!
I would definitely recommend this nursery to everyone.

My son loves the nursery, he runs off so excited and always has tales of his adventures whilst at nursery. He is well looked after, the staff are fabulous, professional but still caring and super friendly - genuinely seem to adore the children and want the best for them. I'll be sad when he leaves in
July. Highly recommended.

I began working in the early years in 2019 after qualifying as a teacher and developing a love for supporting learning and growth in early years and joined the Ansdell team as Manager in November 2023. I have a passion for helping and supporting in any way I can. Ensuring that all of our children and families feel happy, safe and secure. We love to provide exciting learning opportunities for all as well as bring learning outdoors and new skills.
