Little Achievers Day Nursery is a Rosy Apple Childcare facility that has built up a strong reputation within the local community for quality early years learning and childcare in which parents can feel confident and secure.

Little Achievers Day Nursery uses the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Years Childcare and Education, a philosophy that uses four key principles to focus on a child's natural development. The approach is both child-centred and directed, taking the philosophy that learning must make sense to the child in order to be effective and meaningful.

Little Achievers Day Nursery is registered for eighty-two children in total and has purposely designed outdoor spaces. Each child has their own key carer who looks to ensure early years’ potential is achieved. The nursery is split into 3 age ranges however the rooms can flow easily to aid transition for children when moving to new groups.

The nursery was awarded the E-quality Counts award by the National Day Nurseries Association in August 2015.

Learning journeys for all children are offered both to see the progress their child is making at nursery via photographs, written comments and communication, along with being a beautiful portfolio of memories for the future.

All nursery pre-school children are able to access forest school at Little Achievers Urban Forest School Nursery, within their timetable of nursery attendance.

Little Achievers Day nursery is situated in Ribbleton Preston, with close links to the M6. The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6pm daily for 51 weeks per year and take children from birth. The nursery accepts funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds; this includes 30 hours. These hours can be used either term time or spread over 51 weeks whilst the nursery is open. Little Achievers Day Nursery is amazing! The staff are fantastic. The nursery is always clean and bright, a lovely welcoming space for children and has a wide range of toys and activities. My son is currently having ballet lessons and he loves it! The staff are excellent at managing my son's allergies
and they are always cautious when it comes to anything pertaining to that, which is very comforting. I would highly recommend this nursery!

I'm a mum of a 3-year-old little girl who attends Little Achievers Chatburn Road, my daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and the staff are absolutely amazing and so understanding. Never had any issues with the nursery. My oldest daughter who's now 7 attended this nursery and was so happy to do
different activities and spend time with amazing staff.

She's always full of sand from head to toe, even in her shoes and clothes. (I know this can't be helped sometimes but every day!?) Parents are supposed to get daily updates and my last update of my child was on the 24th of September. No information passed on when she's been collected so I never know
how she's been or if she had her meals etc. I have spoken to the manager about some concerns I've had about my child in the nursery and I've had no contact from them since. I have since taken my child out of this nursery as I feel it is not the right fit.

Your concern was passed to Higher Management, who have tried contacting you however unfortunately were unable to receive a response. At our nursery we encourage learning through play, assisted by our well-trained staff members, currently working towards the Curiosity Approach Accreditation. We apologise for yourself not receiving daily updates. We verbally passed updates to relatives on collection, had we known this information was not passed on, we could have used a different form of communication (parent app). We strive on communication with parents offering multiple forms of this, either verbally at the end of day, or with regular updates throughout the day using the App. We're sorry to hear that you've taken your child out of Little Achievers Day Nursery, we wish your child all the best going forward.

My girls love this nursery. The staff are friendly and very warm. They have a lot of activities for example singing, dancing, learning, painting and more. My 3-year-old kid can speak and write in English thanks to the nursery. as English is not my first language.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 6 months now and quickly settled in. She was upset at leaving me at the beginning but the staff were great and she soon looked forward to going in and playing with her new friends.
She goes swimming on Tuesdays which she absolutely loves. Overall, she has come
on leaps and bounds.

Brilliant nursery. My little boy loves going to nursery, especially on Tuesdays when he goes swimming. He's come on leaps and bounds since being here. All the staff are amazing with him and all make time to speak to him when he arrives. He loves the food and usually has 2-3 helpings.

Little Achievers Day Nursery has been fantastic for my son. His socialisation has come on leaps and bounds and he has become even more independent than before. The staff are very friendly and are working with us to help potty train. My son has several allergies and they are very vigilant and take extra
caution to not expose him to any of his allergens. Overall the nursery is very well managed, communication is great between staff and parents, but most importantly my son has a wonderful time everytime he goes and is very fond of the staff at Little Achievers (always referring to staff members when at home).

Hello, these ladies at this nursery don’t get enough credit. They go above and beyond to help parents out with their children and help with other things and always making children and us parents welcome. My daughter attended here 8 years ago did all the way up to pre school and now goes to after school
pick up. My little boy enjoys nursery they're like his second mums. He has also been asked if we’d like him to take part in swimming lessons which is an amazing opportunity. I can’t say one bad word about this nursery and the staff but thank you for everything ladies.

I've used this nursery since 2017, I wouldn't send my children anywhere else they always go the extra mile, and they always fit my son in during the school holidays my kids loved every nursery teacher there always happy to help.

I would recommend this nursery to everyone! They have all gone above and beyond to support my twins. The staff are all friendly and caring. And my two run in happy every morning!! Also When my daughter first started she still required 24hr oxygen and they were brilliant with that too.

Excellent nursery and friendly welcoming staff, my oldest little boy also went to the same nursery and they both love it I have never had any problems. Both my boys have learnt a lot from little achievers day nursery, and have always loved it and look forward to going in the morning.

Emma Burnside is the Lead Professional of Little Achievers Day nursery, at the age of 17 Emma started her childcare training at college, going on to do an apprenticeship in the private day nursery sector, following this Emma went on to complete her level 3 and 5, her H certificate and her Early Years Professional Status. Emma has worked in childcare for almost 20 years 10 of which she has spent managing Little Achievers Day Nursery.
