Little Achievers Day Nursery is a Rosy Apple Childcare facility that has built up a strong reputation within the local community for quality early years learning and childcare in which parents can feel confident and secure.

Little Achievers Day Nursery uses the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Years Childcare and Education, a philosophy that uses four key principles to focus on a child's natural development. The approach is both child-centred and directed, taking the philosophy that learning must make sense to the child in order to be effective and meaningful.

Little Achievers Day Nursery is registered for eighty-two children in total and has purposely designed outdoor spaces. Each child has their own key carer who looks to ensure early years’ potential is achieved. The nursery is split into 3 age ranges however the rooms can flow easily to aid transition for children when moving to new groups.

The nursery was awarded the E-quality Counts award by the National Day Nurseries Association in August 2015.

Learning journeys for all children are offered both to see the progress their child is making at nursery via photographs, written comments and communication, along with being a beautiful portfolio of memories for the future.

All nursery pre-school children are able to access forest school at Little Achievers Urban Forest School Nursery, within their timetable of nursery attendance.

Little Achievers Day nursery is situated in Ribbleton Preston, with close links to the M6. The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6pm daily for 51 weeks per year and take children from birth. The nursery accepts funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds; this includes 30 hours. These hours can be used either term time or spread over 51 weeks whilst the nursery is open. Have always had a great relationship with the nursery and has helped my grandson and us no end would highly recommend. They truly care for all the children and are always smiling and the children feel safe and cared for.

I was really anxious about sending my boy to nursery although I know it’s what he needed he has separate anxiety but has settled very well although he still cries on arrival he is happy once I’ve gone and loves it especially when he plays outside.

Great nursery and lovely staff. My child has attend this nursery since being 9 months old, and will continue to do so until going to school this September. Never had a problem with the nursery, and my child adores all the staff.

My son absolutely loves this nursery I moved him here because he hated his other nursery he screamed every time I took him there as soon as I moved him to this nursery he runs there every morning and can’t wait to go. We live down the road and stands at the window and asks to go back to nursery constantly.

My little boy loves going to nursery, the staff are amazing with promoting his development, and he goes swimming weekly with them, the staff have played a massive part in my son gaining confidence and for that, I am truly grateful, my son even asks to go to nursery at the weekends

Little Achievers has been a brilliant nursery for my daughter, she has made good friendships with both staff and children and gets excited to join in with activities. She has come on in leaps and bounds since starting pre-school and nursery has played a huge part in her coming out of her shell.

My 2 children have started in September. They have settled in very well. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The facilities are fantastic and the extra lessons offered are fantastic. Definitely recommend.

My little girl currently goes to Little Achievers Day Nursery on Chatburn Road and is in the baby room. After finding it hard to settle at other nurseries my little girl settled straight away! When I go to collect her of an afternoon she’s always happy and you can always tell she’s had a good day! She
eats so well at nursery different to at home! I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! They care like every child is their own! Fab nursery!

Excellent nursery.
Really friendly, helpful staff, always keeping you informed of the child's progress. All staff are very approachable and have been very kind always.
I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone with young children. My granddaughter really enjoys her time here and misses the
staff when on term holidays. I would highly recommend to anyone with kids.

Would definitely recommend this nursery.
My granddaughters and grandson come here and have and have been very well looked after in the time frame.
Especially as my granddaughter has a number of medical issues.
They have been especially brilliant with her.

My daughter is in the big room and was timid at first but she has slowly come out of her shell. The staff are very accommodating to her needs both social and physical. She often tells me who she has been playing with and what she has been up to.
I would say flexibility is one of the nursery's strengths.

Emma Burnside is the Lead Professional of Little Achievers Day nursery, at the age of 17 Emma started her childcare training at college, going on to do an apprenticeship in the private day nursery sector, following this Emma went on to complete her level 3 and 5, her H certificate and her Early Years Professional Status. Emma has worked in childcare for almost 20 years 10 of which she has spent managing Little Achievers Day Nursery. Emma loves to help children develop in to amazing young people, loves her role as manager and being able to support parents and children in their everyday lives, Emma has a keen interest in children’s mental health.
