Little Achievers Day Nursery is a Rosy Apple Childcare facility that has built up a strong reputation within the local community for quality early years learning and childcare in which parents can feel confident and secure.

Little Achievers Day Nursery uses the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Years Childcare and Education, a philosophy that uses four key principles to focus on a child's natural development. The approach is both child-centred and directed, taking the philosophy that learning must make sense to the child in order to be effective and meaningful.

Little Achievers Day Nursery is registered for eighty-two children in total and has purposely designed outdoor spaces. Each child has their own key carer who looks to ensure early years’ potential is achieved. The nursery is split into 3 age ranges however the rooms can flow easily to aid transition for children when moving to new groups.

The nursery was awarded the E-quality Counts award by the National Day Nurseries Association in August 2015.

Learning journeys for all children are offered both to see the progress their child is making at nursery via photographs, written comments and communication, along with being a beautiful portfolio of memories for the future.

All nursery pre-school children are able to access forest school at Little Achievers Urban Forest School Nursery, within their timetable of nursery attendance.

Little Achievers Day nursery is situated in Ribbleton Preston, with close links to the M6. The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6pm daily for 51 weeks per year and take children from birth. The nursery accepts funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds; this includes 30 hours. These hours can be used either term time or spread over 51 weeks whilst the nursery is open. All three of my children have been coming to this nursery over the last ten years. They have all attended from ten months old and I did not hesitate to send my youngest here.
The staff are extremely helpful and professional and know exactly how to make the children feel at ease and they make nursery
fun.
It is extremely well run and the staff are very accommodating when I needed extra days booking.
My youngest is now off to school, very well equipped for what he will learn at school thanks to the time the staff have taken to help him learn new things.
I would definitely recommend this nursery to all parents/carers.
Keep up the good work guys and thank you so much.

Excellent nursery! When I was searching for a nursery for my son, he had one taster session here and absolutely loved it. He's been attending four days a week ever since.
He fitted in straight away and now even asks to go on weekends, he loves it that much.
He settled in straight away and I am always
updated on how his day has been and the progress he is making.
Every member of staff is welcoming and so friendly. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending Little Achievers since he was nine months old. I was extremely worried when deciding where to send my child when I finished maternity leave as I wanted to ensure he was in the right care and environment. Little Achievers was recommended to me many times by several people and
it happened to be close and convenient to me at the time. The staff are always helpful and my son has especially grown attached to some of them individually which is nice to see. The nursery is always clean and tidy. Nappies are regularly changed and as far as I can see, he is well looked after. I am always informed if he hasn't eaten, when he had his nap, if he's been off within himself etc. Overall it's a fantastic nursery. I am glad I chose Little Achievers and would certainly recommend to anyone wanting childcare.

Excellent nursery. Three of my children have been in the nursery. Also, my two older children have been in the after school club. Couldn't be happier, they accommodate really well to each individual child's needs.

My daughter enjoys nursery and is well behaved. However, I have been having trouble with her at home. Staff at the nursery have spoken to her about this and I have seen an instant improvement.

Emma Burnside is the Lead Professional of Little Achievers Day nursery, at the age of 17 Emma started her childcare training at college, going on to do an apprenticeship in the private day nursery sector, following this Emma went on to complete her level 3 and 5, her H certificate and her Early Years Professional Status. Emma has worked in childcare for almost 20 years 10 of which she has spent managing Little Achievers Day Nursery. Emma loves to help children develop in to amazing young people, loves her role as manager and being able to support parents and children in their everyday lives, Emma has a keen interest in children’s mental health.
