Kids Planet Cleveleys provides flexible day care services for up to 48 children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is open year round, Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm, making it ideal for working families.

Running as a forest and beach school nursery, Kids Planet really makes the most of its seaside location. Children are given ample opportunities to learn from the great outdoors, hopefully sparking a love for nature and the environment from an early age, as well as providing varied learning and play opportunities.

A team of experienced practitioners run the site and design each day to be as fun as possible, encouraging children to learn, play and explore in a place they can feel safe and secure. All activities are planned around the children's interests and stage of development, and the team recognise that there is no one approach to childcare. There is a space for everyone at the nursery, including quiet areas for the youngest visitors, and dedicated play areas for whatever children love to do that day.

On site there is a qualified chef who prepares nutritional snacks and meals using fresh ingredients each day. The kitchen team are happy to cater for any dietary requirements or general preferences, and hope to give children the opportunity to learn about food and try new things.

My youngest son has been coming to this nursery since he's been 8 months old, he will be going to primary school in September. The nursery is a fantastic nursery, very friendly, supportive and welcoming from the staff.

The nursery staff are amazing! They go above and beyond and my little boy loves all the staff. The only two complaints I have that I feel need to be improved on are the financial impact on parents and nutrition. I had a lot of issues with the bill and tried to rectify this several times before someone
spoke to us and tried to help us with this within the finance department. The lunch time meal is of good quality and nutritional, however a lot of the tea time meals are ‘lunch’ time meals. I understand some children go home and have tea with their families but when you have parents that work full time we are relying on a hearty, fulfilling meal for our children’s tea and at times it can be something as little as ‘veg sticks and dip’ which I don’t feel is a very nutritional meal to have on its own.

The staff at Kids Planet Cleveleys always go above and beyond to support the children there, I have seen first-hand how they help parents with potty training, dropping the dummy and overall support.
My daughter loves nursery and often tells me which adults she played with that day, not just the children
which shows how interactive the staff are.
When she's a little upset a lot of the time she will only come to me, but certain members of staff also have that safe comforting relationship with her too which makes me so reassured.
The team at Nutkins have always given me verbal and online updates on my child's progress, and as well as it being professional there is also that personal touch.
My daughter and I are going to be sad when it comes time to leave.

Such a welcoming nursery, super patient with my little girl who is always reluctant to go in the morning but has the best time once she's in! Always leaves with a smile on her face! The staff are wonderful both up and down stairs and I feel confident my girl is being well looked after whilst here.

As a mum of a child with complex health needs this nursery was the best choice for my boy. The staff go above and beyond to make sure all his needs are met to the highest standard. He's under the SEN team and only the other week I was approached and told the staff would learn sign language to communicate
with my beautiful boy better, this warmed my heart so much. All the staff are amazing! The manager has a heart of gold and is absolutely amazing. My son's key worker is an absolutely amazing lady, we couldn't have asked for anyone better! Thank you for all you do for my baby boy. Best nursery around, in my opinion!

Words can not describe our experience with Nutkins Nursery, from the moment my son started, halfway through a pandemic, we were made to feel part of the Nutkins family!
All the teachers have so much love for each child and you can see how much they thoroughly enjoy their jobs and how each child loves
attending.
I was extremely nervous about my son starting nursery, due to numerous allergies and asthma, but they always took his needs into consideration and gave me feedback on how he was that day when I collected him!
His key worker was absolutely amazing and nothing was ever too much for her, she truly goes above and beyond (as do the other key workers with their children).
I 100% recommend Nutkins to anybody thinking of putting their child into a nursery.

My children attend here and I couldn't wish for a better start in life for them. All the practitioners from the baby unit through to pre-school are kind, nurturing, loving and warm. I receive daily updates of their day and what they have eaten. My children come home happy and full of stories and as
a parent, I couldn't ask for anything more.

Both my boys have attended this outstanding nursery. My eldest is now in year one and still has fond memories of his nursery days. My youngest is about to start his final year before his next adventure to big school. Both boys have been supported in their emotional development, communication and their
everyday learning. With lots of activities on offer each day, there is lots of valuable learning each day.
The setting and staff are warm, friendly and nurturing and know the children’s individual needs. My little boy is always full of exciting stories from his day at nursery.

The nursery staff have been an amazing extended family to both of my boys. My eldest now in year 1 still asks to go back to nursery as he misses everyone and the fun he had. My youngest is still at Nutkins and has flourished in exactly the same way as his older brother. The team have always given me
verbal and online updates on my children's progress. There is such a personal touch and that's so important. I will be very emotional when my youngest leaves in August, as the nursery has been in our lives for over 4 years. 5-stars aren't enough. Thank you, everyone.

My two boys attend this nursery and I am beyond happy with my choice in nursery! Especially seeing how they responded to the global pandemic COVID-19. The management is highly organised which puts me at ease knowing that this will have an impact on the safety of my children. I love receiving updates
via email and the online learning journal too! They are always so accommodating and this fits well with my working hours. My eldest has learnt so much from being at nursery and interacting with other children. I highly recommend Nutkins Nursery to everyone!

Nutkins are absolute professionals and take such good care of our daughter. She absolutely loves being there and gets excited when she sees the staff and children. My daughter has attended Nutkins since 9-months-old and will soon be transitioning into the pre-school class. She absolutely loves everyday she attends there and has thrived in all areas. They hold different activities daily, support events and keep the children active whilst learning.
All the staff
are wonderful, fully experienced and totally committed to their role, and this shows with the happiness in the children that attend. My daughter has made many friends and loves all the staff there. Their communication is excellent and all guidelines are followed impeccably.
I have recommended Nutkins to many parents who have asked for suitable nurseries as they really are a very special nursery.

I highly recommend Nutkins to all!
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I truly believe they provide a home from home environment. My little girl has thrived since starting and has come such a long way across all aspects of her development. The nursery is clean, well laid out and provides
continuous play both indoors and outdoors.
I receive regular updates via email of what’s taking place in the nursery and dates to add to my diary. I also receive photos of my daughter whilst she’s at nursery and like any parent I imagine, I find it lovely to see that she’s so happy and content whilst in others care.

Our little girl has attended Nutkins Nursery since she was 20-months-old, she is now 4 and a half and going to primary school in September.
We will be so sad to leave this wonderful nursery which has helped build our child's confidence and independence. She loves the nursery so much and all the staff
and friends she has made within it.
The owner is also an amazing practitioner who is very involved within Nutkins Nursery. This is something we found very good, as it shows how much she loves and cares for the nursery. From the beautifully kept gardens (play-areas) to the exceptionally lovely resources in the interior. Bright and inviting and very clean throughout.
The staff have all been there for many years which shows in their work ethic and how amazing they work as a team.
I honestly can't praise this nursery enough for what they have done supporting and encouraging our little girl to be the little lady she is today.

There just aren't enough words to describe how much we love Nutkins for our son. He has loved going there since he started in September 2018. They all know him and he will go to anyone there. It is a very personal experience with updates via the parent app and communication is excellent. They are caring
and so flexible and accommodating. I can't say anything but fabulous, loving nursery.
